I don't know about this one. He been gone for over 3 years and Ed Sheeran has cme along since then and done his numbers. However I think there is room for someone this year to do something similar to what Rod Stewart did last year.

I read somewhere it was week one; Alright keep JJ but get him singing more; although we will probably get him doing awful raps in the middle of the songs (PJ and Duncan) style.

What in bottom 2 three times. I knew they were in bottom 2 first week which is the worst time but 2 other times. I hope they can have Lawson type success and release singles played on local radio and play concerts at Scunthorpe Arts centre type venues. When they do come back it will probably be with a new sound and a manned up image and probably minus JJ. Oh it is fun to try and save a band that are on life support and hope they can pull through.

Carry you could have been bigger if it had been handled better what with coming soon after the XF tour. But as before; Radio 1 not taking an interest did not help. Beatiful Life ought to have been released in September with 3rd single early November with supporting XF performance. Though all they need to do is get a big song that defines them that all the radio stations will get behind; i.e Glad you came, Beat Again, Wings, WMYB. And appear on tv programmes that people who buy/ download watch.

Those sales are awful, album is nealy 300k behind Little Mix first one. Beautiful Life really did go as soon as it came. Would have thought they would have done Little Mix type numbers.

173 bloody hell; I guess that might be better than a no. 74 or something. It can easily be swepted under the carpet. What did the album do first week and total? George has said that they are going back in the studio soon to record and they have been writing. Did they get an x factor slot last season as can't remember; I too busy with 1 D and Katy Perry. Though they might have to replace JJ

Just been looking at the link in one of the above posts and they look bloody awful; how old are they? 40.

Where did Loving is easy chart anyway? I know it was out over that weird new year giftcard period. Was it written by Jason Derulo? they ought to have had him do a feature.

I agree yeah; they just need decent songs; good platform i.e. Radio one big weekend and try not to be so bargain basement. But I think they were in the bottom two on X factor on more then one week whether thats an indication of the previous level of success who knows. What they need is a Bleeding Love/ Halo type song but tailered to them though they may have to drop However Little Mix have managed to adapt their image over the last few singles and have even been played on Radio 2. But in my own view the biggest problem in Radio 1; They probably don't want their playlists too XF heavy; With them more than likely getting behind Rough Copy when they release.

I think if they do some better material and keep to their present image; they do wear some good outfits and are styled better then the Wanted who like like they buy their clothes from Sports Direct and image wise don't really have one. One Diection seem to have manned up a bit; but all of them except the blonde Irish one look as though they smoke and drink every night. I think as I've mentioned before that Union J have a chance if they are managed right; release the right songs and have a good reasonable co'ordinated image plus get them on telly programmes that most people actually watch.

With the Wanted and JLS out of the picture and with the vamps and lawson with no profile making songs for local commercial radio I do think that if Union J do it properlythen they could have some proper hits (with their XF connection). I presume that they have not made enough money to go out and really f*** up their looks and image; Although Jaymi is probably a carcrash waiting to happen and JJ is getting older but who knows. Them (the management) need to get them better songs and get them on higher viewed/ attended programmes and events.

What happened with the last single; Loving you is easy? They have missed a trick by not releasing "the last goodbye" a couple of weeks before xmas; that would have put them on the road maybe to 1D type numbers. I have not heard these on Radio 1 though but bought their album cheaply on impulse the other day. Sure they can have another album this year as I don't think that any of this (last years) x factor graduates are going to do anything on a grand scale. Can they exist in a saturdays kind of way; release singles that local radio play that no one really remembers. Hope they can turn it round though but I suspect they will f*** around with their image a bit like ID; Hope they don't because they seem like good down to earth guys.

At least Union J are releasing a second album this year though I think they will be trying to man up their image a bit like One Direction.
