    excellent the 99p promo will end today. its good, it will grab 1000 sales from non Kylie fans

     

    Santa baby has entered Spotify UK chart today at 156 and up to 251 on UK ITunes.....

     

    remember so many versions of Kylie's Santa Baby on albums so they all collect together

    99p daily deals is something Google Play been doing for years..... its a marketing gimmick for them and also gives a boost to the album and if it moves up or stays top 40 then it is worthy advertising. It often attracts people who wouldn't usually buy it and I doubt google-play buyers is a usual big seller for kylie records.

     

    Jess Glynne had hers at 99p yesterday with Years and Years also.

    looks like baby its cold outside may have been sung with Olly Murs, Sarah Milican and John Bishop on his show as a group song.

     

    up to 48th on UK iTunes again this morning.

     

    Hopefully if that google play can grab a couple of thousand sales at 99p she may move up to to 25 this week

    29 in today's midweeks. so hopefully should stay top 40 this week for a 3rd straight week and then hopefully promo from next Friday will help it stay top 40 again for a 4th week.

    I think it is struggling to be honest....... dont think it is selling in supermarkets seems to be well down the charts in all.... has done ok on ITunes this week and now 8.99 and 6.99 on Amazon for a few days.......

     

    I suspect she may release somekind of video on Friday to start the week and ready for a heavy week of promo for Kylie Xmas with TFI & Royal Variety already confirmed for that chart week

    Lets hope she sold quite a few vinyls as that may just keep her top 35 but not sure, so many albums out there

    this week she is already doing ok..... the 4.99 ITunes album gone from 200 to 36 on ITunes but this only a 1 day offer.... delux is 46 so holding up well

     

    Vinyl release sales also today so that should add a couple of hundred of sales

     

    She announced a Spotify competition and an Amazon competition today also.

     

    She will be back in UK this week so hopefully some more radio promo.

    just a quick question. How does an album get a stream in the chart? Do you need to listen to whole album all the way through at the same time for it to count?
