  1. Not excited at all about Leona being the support act, but....it is what it is.... Rick Astley was superb.
  2. Next week, he'll definitely sell more because of the new bundle release. I just wish he'd release vinyls in more than one colour, cause I'd like to have them framed.
  3. Sales 15805 - almost 16 k this week. This means he has sold nearly 65k so far. Could gold be possible this year?
  4. Really, really like the duet with Alesha. Wish it had made the final cut.
  5. Could the release on December, 18th, help him get the Christmas no 1? Could he outsell Alfie Boe and Michael Ball?
  6. Yay, can't wait! Gary has sold 13.8 k this week. If I remember correctly, he sold almost 47k last week. Doesn't that mean that he should be certified silver?
  7. With 7K, he'd probably be top 15 at least, if not top 10 in this climate. Anyway, it's not that bad that 12M11D managed to sell another 30K since Gary's solo comeback, considering he hasn't sung that many songs from that album on his tours and that the songs are freely accessible right now. If he would update a little the sound of the album and re-released it, it could even go silver, at least. For me, a ierarchy of Gary's solo albums would be (and I include Finding Neverland here as well): 1. SISYL + FN 2. 12M11D 3. MPBH 4. Sing I do, hovewever, admit, that this Christmas I'll be blasting MPBH, because it goes so well with this time of the year. I'm just glad we have such a variety of genres to choose from, depending on our mood and on the context.
  8. 46.5k sold Hope he continues to sell well.
  9. Finally, he gets his much deservved number 1! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
  10. Whatever people might think of the new material, Elita and Incredible are performing really well on iTunes and have been for weeks. I know the iTunes sales are very low, however it still shows what songs people are most interested in. If only Gary's fanbase discovered streaming :P My album is yet to be delivered, so, in the meantime, Spotify it is for me. And I think that even after the delivery, I will still listen to it on Spotify. The physical albums are more of a memorabilia. I'm thinking of buying a vinyl and framing it.
  11. Naive fans? Oh come on, everyone who bought a ticket knew the risks. The tour will eventually take place, so...what's the actual harm? It's not like fans have already bought plane tickets or made hotel reservations. Elisabeth, is it really more awful to sell tour tickets instead of filming your wife in labor? Were you that bothered by Robbie's actions? It seems to me you are just looking for reasons to pick on Gary, honestly.
  12. Kylie has done things that made her look desperate to get the no 1, yet nobody hated on her. Robbie always does something extra in the eve of an album release, yet he doesn't get as much hate. Take That have always sold albums with tour tickets and nobody cared, yet now Gary has done something outrageous. People were free to cancel their order after getting the tour tickets. If they didn't cancel the order, it means they wanted the album. Those sales are as valid as anyone else's. To me, it looks like people just find excuses to attack Gary, pure and simple. There's so much love for Miley on the main forum - nobody seems to care that Prisoner is practically a copy of Physical and that the video is of two women acting like slu**. Don't get me started on others that are idolized, although their character is more than questionable. Why wouldn't the tour never take place? Do we presume we'll be kept prisoners in our homes forever?
  13. There's never been too much love for Gary outside his fanbase. And even inside the "fanbase", he gets some horrible comments. Now the situation is worsened by the fact that Gary is outselling Steps - which, in my opinion, is the normal order of things - and this doesn't get endear him to many people either. The guy can't win, no matter what. Other people get away even with murder, he can't get away with an album he's made out of passion (and which is excellent, in my humble opinion).
  14. Me too, but, hopefully, Gary can maintain the lead throughout the week. It's the first time our radios are playing a Gary single - Elita :cheer:
  15. https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=8945...watch_permalink Elita sung just by Gary sounds really good. I like it that he explains why he changed Incredible with Elita for Strictly.
  16. Very beautiful performance on GN show. I know he's doing Elita on Strictly, so, where is he singing Incredible?
  17. Seeing as I am neither a Steps nor a Miley fan, I hope whatever they sell is less than Gary's numbers.
  18. Gary has his official store as well. Fans, at least, are inclined to buy from his store than from Amazon. iTunes isn't a huge album seller, from what I know.
  19. Gary's album is incredibly uplifiting and Cristmassy. Who Is Driving This Thing is a banger. I hope he gets the no 1 this week, cause he deserves it.
  20. I'm really hoping Gary can have a no 1, finally. His album is miles better than Steps' - at least for me. I cannot even stand to listen to one entire song of theirs. It seems Gary has 20k of pre-orders.
  21. I'm liking the duet too....I really do. But, somehow, I find the solo tracks more interesting.
  22. Someone on the main forum said this album makes him comatose....I wonder if he really listened to the album....It's so uplifiting and energy-filled, that I don't see how anyone could find it boring. I understand it may not be to everyone's taste, but if it's one thing this album can't be accused of is being soporific. It's obvious the focus with this album was more on the music than on the lyrics in most songs, which, for once, I don't mind. Now, I really have a diversified playlist of Gary songs.
  23. I'm at the Bad Libran right now. I like the story and I find it comical - the Libra acting Capricornish :D
