  1. #44 in the midweeks. I was hoping III would be higher than that this week.
  2. I don't stay up as late as I used to during university or as often and, when I do, I don't particularly enjoy it, but those years of practice make it easier to do it when need be. And, where Gary is concerned, there is need :P I still don't know how I made it through those exams periods with barely no sleep - 18 exams in 14 days sure took care of the no sleep part :D What I wouldn't give to re-live those days now!! It's good that you guys get a Christmas holiday, even if you do have to work till the last minute. Wow, Jay, Christmas in Australia - won't you miss the snow and the freezing cold :P ?
  3. I think it's my years and years of university practice in staying awake - either studying for exams or just being kept awake by my roommates :)) I'd love for Gary to do something The Girls related for the television. The album is almost a certainty, but I'd like to see a documentary about how a musical is developed until it hits the stage. As for the BBC1 show - it's winter, people don't go out as much as they do during summer and 22:30 is not that late. Hopefully, the show will have a big enough of an audience to make an impact, but, like Aphrodite pointed out, it's just one more thing that hasn't worked out as it should have this era. Of course, TT or the label can't control when the show is aired, but, at this point, it almost seems like an universal conspiracy for things to go not exactly right. Maybe it's just one of those stages that any artist goes through and the boys will come back with stronger material and a larger fanbase next year. PS: Do you have to work on the 23rd? Don't you have Christmas holiday?
  4. Nah, don't worry, I've stayed up till 7-8 a.m for Gary before, I'll manage to stay awake till 2 a.m this time :) Besides, thankfully, Filmon allows us to record the shows and download them, so that's taken care of as well. It was more complicated with the iPlayer before, cause I needed the expat shield to watch it, but now, with Hola, it's easier. Living outside UK does have its perks in these matters - you suddenly develop a knowledge of illegal streams and downloads that you didn't possess before :P
  5. That means past midnight for me :( I hope the rumours are false and they're being shown earlier on - both as day and hour.
  6. It looks like the dvd will also be released separately on Dec, 11: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0189B4...;pf_rd_i=297457
  7. Universal has got itself in a mess of cosmic proportions. They're sending 3-4 emails to the same persons, with different order numbers, they're mixing up the countries and the gender of persons...LOL, it's all turning into a comedy. As long as my dvd doesn't end up in Antarctica :P The dvd being in top 10 on Amazon gives me hope. They boys should do some more promo till Christmas, aside from the BBC1 show.
  8. In case anyone's missed the performance: Very good vocals from Gary and the audience seemed ecstatic. I can't wait for the album; hopefully, Gary will be singing all the songs on this one.
  9. The cd is back in stock, with the dvd, and is currently 4 on Amazon

  11. Jay, I like your optimism, especially today :) Since it's my birthday, I'm gonna make a wish that III end up in top 40 on Friday. Birthday wishes HAVE to come true, right? :D
  12. I dare predict III won't be in top 100 :P We can't expect anything seeing that everything was recalled.
  13. 20k is no small achievement at all. Leona and other artists haven't managed 20k with their releases all year long. To sell 20k with a re-release in just 3 days shows that TT have still a while to go. I'm just sad that they missed top 10 because of all the problems.
  14. I can't believe they've missed top 10 by one place. Waaay better than I anticipated. I don't think there are many artists who can pull that - have almost nothing to sell and chart so high.
  15. 100.000 dvd-s going to waste - Universal lost A LOT of money, but they all have themselves to blame. They should have checked the master copy before approving the multiplication.
  16. That's what I like best: pure voice and instruments. I hate anything that distorts the voice, especially when it's not needed. Gary has a beautiful, clean voice and he doesn't need corrections or enhancements. Dare reminds me a little of Jump. It could have easily been on SISYL. I agree: this is the music that represents Gary, boring or not, and this is the music I love him for. That's why SISYL was a revelation for me regarding his growth as a songwriter and FN and TG are showing a progression in that direction. I just wish all the boys in TT would realize that's what most TT fans love and would quit all this electronical and dance non-sense.
  17. There was an official message from Polydor yesterday: Polydor 14 hrs The first run of stock of the new Take That release 'III - 2015 Edition' has unfortunately had to be recalled from retailers due to a fault on the DVD included in the package. New stock is currently being manufactured and we are working to get it distributed as soon as possible. Anyone who has bought this title should contact the relevant retailer who will advise when they will be available to provide a replacement. We apologise to all those who bought defective copies of this release.
  18. I like Dare. This is the type of music I'm expecting from Gary. I know some consider it dull, but I prefer it to what's in the charts. Gary said that they've recorded several songs from the musical with his vocals to test them out, so who knows? Maybe we're lucky and we get an album. All I can say is that a lot of time, effort and money must have gone into this musical. Gary wrote over 70 songs, out of which they've kept only 12-13.
  19. That's better than expected. They have only today left to go, maybe they can make top 15 after all, which would be an achievement after everything that's gone wrong. I kinda expected for the album to be 16 or 17 by now.
  20. I know that my optimism will turn into delusion with this next question, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, so, here it goes: any chance of TT performing on the Brit Awards this /next year? A beautiful performance of WYBTFM on the Brits and XF would take care of the sales.
  21. This is so unfair  Let's be honest, if Adele or Sam Smith had released this album, it would have gotten both critical acclaim and commercial success. I hate to see it not get the recognition it deserves. It's a better album than Progress, yet it's not getting the same exposure. Of course it will chart lower than Progress Live with only 3 days of sales and rumours going around about the dvd sticking. I'm putting all my hopes in that BBC1 show and in the fact that, by then, the dvd issue would have been solved and Christmas would have worked its magic :)
  22. I'd love more promo, but if they promote now, what are people going to buy?
  23. Aphrodite, someone wrote Universal and they said that the postage of the new dvd will be covered by them. The delivery of the new dvd is free. This is such a mess. It's like nothing's going right this era. The idea of a package of cd+dvd was so lovely, but a simple mistake ruined everything.
