  1. It was easier for me to accept the other singles flopping, but I really can't stand seeing Higher Than Higher do so badly. I looove that song. I think I've spammed hundreds of fans going to see TT this week, telling them to spread the word about the single :) I'm fighting with the wind mills, lol :) TT could have sneaked in a couple of tv appearances if they wanted. They're in London this week, so there would have been no inconvenience.
  2. I didn't know what to expect from the snippet I had heard, but this is pure eargasm  http://www.xclusivejams.com/2015/06/gary-b...-neverland-ost/
  3. I agree. I really don't understand why this apathy. Not even an official statement saying "HTH is out". It wouldn't have required so much effort. And I'm sure they could have afforded an iTunes banner.
  4. Without promotion, nothing will happen with HTH :( It's not even in top 500 on iTunes yet. Its only chance is that fans going to concerts this week spread the word about the single. Word of mouth is the only thing that could save this single now. Gary is going to be on Chris Evans's show on Friday. It would be nice if he plugged the single, but I doubt it. Even if he did, by Friday it would have been too late.
  5. I enjoy reading people's reviews too on this forum :) Experiencing this tour through someone else's eyes is interesting. Dylandog, if the review you read is on ticketmaster, I'd take that with a pinch of salt. Not all those reviews are from people who were at the concert. I remember when Gary toured, someone complained that the set only lasted for 45 minutes, which was not only absurd, but also a blatant lie. Some people get easily bored and love wasting their time fabricating stories. The more I read fans' (real fans) reviews , the more excited I'm getting about seeing the concert on the 19th.
  6. Have lots of fun, Jay! :) Can't wait to hear your opinion of the tour.
  7. HTH keeps climbing on iTunes. #688 right now. If it could reach top 200 by Sunday, then a mass download could push it in top 100 and with the physical sales added, we could end up with a decent position. If only the boys did at least one little promo. It seems absurd for them to let flop a song that the public obviously enjoys.
  8. HTH has entered the iTunes top 1500, at #903 with O promotion so far. To me, that's a sign that people who are hearing the song on the radio are liking it. http://www.lpb5.com/lpb1024.php?Region=143...mp;t=1433478645 Leona Lewis's single, that is out also on Sunday, is nowhere near top 1500, after a radio tour this week, just for some comparison.
  9. I, personally, love Freeze, but I don't see it as single material. As for Into the Wild, I can't be objective, cause I simply can't warm up to Mark's voice. I like it to a certain degree, but only because it reminds of some other song (I wish I could remember which one). After having heard the remix for HTH, I can hear it getting played in clubs, which means it could appeal to a younger audience. But that's just my opinion. For me, HTH and Flaws are my favorite songs on the album, but I 've been surprised to notice that some people hate them.
  10. Are people on ATRL serious? HTH the worst song on the album? Sorry, but I have to question some people's tastes in cases like this one. http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=796839 Well, they also thought LITS would be a no. 1 and we all know how that turned out.
  11. HTH climbed from 1004 to 377 in just a few hours today. I wish fans stopped downloading this week and waited till Sunday :(
  12. Just a small observation: Higher than Higher is currently doing better on Amazon than the singles that have already been released and that are being played on the tour. HTH is #377 on Amazon - which means whatever little airplay it got has had an impact, people are buying it. LITS and GRFI are #+10.000 and +20.000 This means that, with a minimum of promo, HTH could prove to be their best single from this era. I think we should try trending HTH on Sunday. That would get at least some people's attention. And we should try to request radio stations to play HTH at least this week and next week. Unlike LITS, HTH will have the advantage of the physical sales being added to the downloads, which could help it chart. Edit: HTH is also on Heat's playlist.
  13. I'm fully aware that this won't have any impact on the charts, but I'm still glad that the public will get to hear the song. HTH is on Radio 2's A list: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/playlist As long as the boys manage to have enough success to allow them to carry on with music, I'm happy. They have nothing to prove anymore.
  14. Yaaay. They really deserve it. :cheer: I've noticed that, on all the videos of FN uploaded by Republic Records, fans of the artists are saying how much they love the songs and that they'd like Christina, Zendaya, etc. to follow in the same vein with their upcoming material. These people have probably never even heard of Gary Barlow, which means their reactions are genuine. Beautiful Day would work so well on radios. It reminds me of Michael Buble's song and that one did really well. Anywhere But Here continues to be the only FN song to have a lyrics video. I wonder if there's any particular reason for this and if they have bigger plans with the song.
  15. I don't think it was necessarily the content of Progress; fans would have put up with an album they didn't like and expected for the next one. From the reactions I read at the time, it was the fact that they allowed Robbie back and gave him such a major role in the band that put most fans off. They also need to find a way of getting back to the sound of BW, to recapture some of the lost audience. This means that they should let Gary be the main songwriter again, but, unfortunately, I don't see that happening anytime soon.
  16. Does anyone else find it weird that HTH is the most played TT track in the last 30 days? Even Radio 2 seems to have played it 27 times. I hope this means they'll playlist it tomorrow. http://comparemyradio.com/artists/Take_That/tracks Has any of you heard it on the radio?
  17. I wasn't crazy about Zendaya's version of Neverland, but I truly hate Nick Jonas's version of Believe. So far, I really love Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Perri and Paloma Faith.
  18. I've given up hope it would reach double platinum anytime soon. I'm hoping it can reach 500.000 copies, for now.
  19. Another week in top 40 :cheer: Maybe this week we'll see III climb back in top 30, now that TT are moving to a new city.
  20. If they promoted HTH properly, the album could sell well even after the tour ends. A slot on Graham Norton or Britain's Got Talent would have been welcome. Their label has got a bit lazy with TT.
  21. Well, hello there :) I thought I was the only Romanian "trolling" the TT threads :) Nice to have company now :)
  22. Another beautiful song: All That Matters (Christina Perri): http://www.vagalume.com.br/news/2015/05/28...-neverland.html And Circus Of Your Mind + Imagination: http://www.portalfamosos.com.br/ouca-4-nov...ding-neverland/
