  1. Let's hope Gary is more sober then than he was today  https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=101552...amp;pnref=story Let In the Sun is already in top 200 on Amazon. We just need to see it chart on iTunes as well.
  2. Hopefully, the performance at the Brits will boost the sales and that will overpower the streaming effect (in case it doesn't work in their advantage). I was just taking a look at Let In the Sun and Get Ready on Amazon and Let In the Sun is fairing much better, to my surprise. It's in top 300 already, which means the Brit performance could boost it in top 100 next week.
  3. You can listen to the remix here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a63...~p4Pqi3lz9rYaym I usually don't like any remix, but this isn't so bad, mostly because the voices haven't been altered too much.
  4. They released 2000 cds for These Days, I imagine they're releasing the same amount for Let In the Sun. As far as you know, around this time of the year, how many copies would they have to sell to get into top 40?
  5. It's on the TT fb page: https://www.facebook.com/takethat/photos/a....e=1&theater
  6. Good news about III being still in top 40. I think this week it will be in top 30 still. Unfortunately, These Days will probably drop out of top 75 this week. It had a good run, though. I hope Let In the Sun will get at least into top 40. It was a good idea releasing a few physical cd-s as well. I know my collection will be glad about it. :yahoo:
  7. Does this mean they'll just stand there and sing? Somehow, I don't see Let In the Sun as the kind of song that allows Gary to display his vocal ability. https://soundcloud.com/ewradio/take-thats-g..._medium=twitter
  8. Based on sales only, These Days should have been 31 in the charts, instead of 38 :( Streaming is meant to favorize only artists with a predominantly young fanbase. Glad to see III back in top 20, though.
  9. Most of the critics are snobs and they always follow an agenda when writing a review. I prefer to hear or see things with my own ears/eyes and judge for myself. I love what I've heard from the musical so far and I like the pop element in the songs. Musicals often sound childish, but these pop songs sound pretty mature. When Your Feet Don't Touch the Ground has a real depth to it. To me, it sounds like it could have been on SISYL, because the lyrics convey a very personal story. To be honest, I miss this element from III and that's why I prefer SISYL. TT albums have always had this one weakness: lyrically, they tread on neutral territory. It's understandable, of course, given the fact that the songs must reflect a group of people, but I always find myself wishing they could go deeper with the lyrics. When Your Feet Don't Touch the Ground, This Time, SISYL, they all satisfy that need and they remind me of Elton John's songs.
  10. I hope the album manages to stay in top 20 till Sunday, now that the iTunes deal is over. At least this deal has shown that the interest is still there, but that the target public has other priorities probably and isn't willing to spend on an album as much as they used to. Unrelated to this thread, but I can't help myself: what do you think of the new song from Finding Neverland? It sounds almost like an autobiographical song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?x-yt-ts=14223...-yt-cl=84838260 I think I love it more than the TT album
  11. III (the standard edition) is reduced at £5.99 on iTunes and this has had a good effect on the sales because the album is now in top 20 on iTunes. I wonder if this is a one day deal or if the deal extends on a longer period of time.
  12. There's rumours that on Monday we might get the European dates. There's already a list of German dates. Nothing is official yet, but I have a feeling these dates are real: *** BREAKING NEWS - TAKE THAT DEUTSCHLANDTOUR 2015 *** 02.10. Hamburg 04.10. Köln 05.10. München 08.10. Berlin 11.10. Stuttgart https://www.facebook.com/takethatfanclub/po...152977987194098 The sure thing is there'll be European dates in September - October (right from the wolf's mouth): http://www.heart.co.uk/showbiz/movies/take...sman-interview/
  13. I don't think Get Ready will be released as a single anymore :( I like Let In the Sun, but I'd have preferred Get Ready as the 2nd single. However, I would not like to see Flaws or Higher than Higher ditched as the 3rd single in favour of Get Ready. It's a shame they'll do Let In the Sun at the Brits. Get Ready is a bit darker and has a dramatic build-up. Let's see how it does after the Jonathan Ross show. If it does well, maybe the boys will change their mind and perform it at the Brit Awards.
  14. It's official: Let In the Sun is the 2nd (not 3rd) single: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/l...Gy_rGtM.twitter
  15. I'm hoping the Jonathan Ross show will boost the album sales this month. I'm starting to doubt Get Ready For It will be a single. We already have an approximate date for the release of Let In the Sun, but no date for Get Ready. Somehow, I like this idea. It means we could get a 4th video for the 3rd single, which will hopefully be either Flaws or Higher than Higher.
  16. Maybe they could turn one of the songs on the album into a duet. That would be the best of both worlds - a collab + a promotion of the album. The 3rd single will be Let In the Sun and it will be released in March. That means Get Ready For It will be released in February. It's weird that there's only a month between single releases. It could mean Get Ready For It won't get too much promotion  Or could it mean that Get Ready For It won't even be a single? http://www.reveal.co.uk/lifestyle/news/a62...in-the-sun.html
  17. I don't think we need to drop Robbie's name in every single post or mention how great (and unreal) his sales were. Besides, I still don't see how TT did everything possible promotion wise, when their promotion has been minimum so far and non-existent outside UK. Maybe one of their wives could get pregnant and upload videos of the child's birth B-) Half a million sales are amazing, especially for a group whose image was trashed by the press in the worst way possible. Curious how many albums Robbie would sell if his name had been mentioned as well during the scandal? So, at the end of the day, TT afforded to lose fans. Can the same be said about other current artists?
  18. I see the difference between These Days (27) and Sia's Chandelier (19) is only 1k, which is very little. It makes the 27 spot look not so awful anymore. Take That are also headlining War Child on February, 23. I don't know if that can be considered a promo opportunity, but it's better than nothing.
  19. The article mentions they could be doing Let In The Sun. I don't have anything against them doing this song, but I don't see the logic behind it. Why would they use such a big promo opportunity for a song that won't be a single, as far as we know (yet)? It would make much more sense if they did Get Ready For It.
  20. I think These Days will climb this week. It has been on a sort of roller-coaster the past week for some reason, but it seems to have stabilized now. It seems Take That will perform at the Brits after all. http://www.unrealitytv.co.uk/showbiz/take-...williams-going/ The article says that the album was released too late to be considered for this year's nominations, just like Since I Saw You Last last year. I hope that's the case and that they were not snubbed by the Brits.
  21. I'm sorry, but whoever wins now the Best British Group is just a big joke. Not having TT nominated for that category is beyond ridiculous. The Brits have lost all credibility. Anyway, I'd rather TT won another Ivor than a Brit.
  22. I agree. It's ridiculous that Rule the World doesn't get more recognition. It's constantly being played in the background at various singing contests here and, afterwards, I see lots of people asking what song it was. That shows that even a few seconds of the song catch the listener's attention.
  23. Colin Firth will also be a guest on Jonathan Ross, so I guess the boys will be singing Get Ready For It. I still don't understand why they're performing Rule the World tonight instead of tracks from the new album.
  24. You can watch the livestream here, at 6 p.m: https://uk.screen.yahoo.com/kingsman/ The boys will appear on Jonathan Ross on January, 24. Finally! :cheer:
  25. I read in an article that the song is already available for download. I hope that won't affect its release, if people keep buying it meanwhile. It would help if we had a precise release date.
