  1. Avicii is releasing his new EP, "Avici (01)" on Thursday 10th August. It has 5 tracks including a collaboration with Rita Ora. Edit: iTunes lists the release date as 12th August, while Billboard and other sites are listing the 10th
  2. I think a prime example of this is Samantha Harvey a few weeks ago managing to get to #4 on iTunes for a few hours
  3. I was about to say, Green Day would definitely be up there
  4. Indeed, but let's not forget that George Michael died during one of the busiest weeks possible, with gift card effects in full swing, so his songs will have made less of an impact on the charts than if he had died during the summer months. Still, a huge achievement for LP, still in shock. Edit: someone beat me to it :P

    1. Various Artists - Now That's What I Call Music! 97 2. Lana Del Rey - Lust For Life 3. Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory 4. Linkin Park - One More Light 6. Linkin Park - Meteora 9. Dizzee Rascal - Raskit 10. Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott - Crooked Calypso 14. Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy 15. Declan McKenna - What Do You Think About The Car? 27. In This Moment - Ritual 30. Meek Mill - Wins & Losses 32. Damian Marley - Stony Hill
  6. 109. Matrix & Futurebound (ft. Calum Scott) - Light Us Up Looks like airplay is finally kicking in, would be good to see this break through eventually.
  7. 31. Zedd & Liam Payne No sign of Kesha as of yet Edit: And the Kamaliya saga continues, as the Funk-DeVice Remix rises to #64
  8. 56. BTS - Come Back Home  70. 5 After Midnight - Up In Here  73. Axwell /\ Ingrosso - More Than You Know :yahoo: 85. Khalid - Location (Can really see this doing something) 102. Jennifer Lopez - Ni Tu Ni Yo :puke2: 137. Fifth Harmony - Down  173. Robin Schulz ft. James Blunt - OK :yahoo: 175. Clean Bandit & Marina and the Diamonds - Disconnect  195. Nick Jonas ft. AnneMarie & Mike Posner - Remember I Told You (Well this has been a disaster)
  9. 49. Katie Price    Also, 5 After Midnight are still at #61, I thought they'd be clear of the top 1500 by now
  10. Rudimental ft. James Arthur are on the front page of hot songs, so should be set for a top 20 entry this week, and should definitely go top 10 on iTunes. 'Chinatown' by Liam Gallagher and 'The Line' by RAYE are on the front page of hot songs, though how much they'll do is questionable. If this doesn't get RAYE into the top 50 on iTunes I don't think anything will. 'Location' by Khalid, on the other hand, is already a hit on the other side of the pond, and I can definitely see it becoming a moderate hit if it stays on the hot songs list and picks up a bit of airplay.
  11. 115, missed out 11 Drake songs, 10 Ed Sheeran, 2 Kendrick, 5 Stormzy, and a couple of stupid one's, namely Adele & Zayn
  12. It's a single, and Marina is credited as a lead artist rather than a feature

    23. Lady Antebellum - Heart Break    why on earth is this back up this high, pretty sure it plummeted down the charts after the first week, and rightly so given it's their weakest album since their debut
  14. Rita Ora has announced that her sophomore album will be released in November
  15. Fair enough! I just don't understand why they'd release on a Sunday, unless they've got a live performance booked somewhere to premiere it?
  16. Is there a source for this?
  17. Quavo is releasing his album, "ATL", on 23rd of June (this Friday). What are we thinking it will do, considering he doesn't actually have any solo hits?

New Entries in the Top-50 1. Royal Blood 2. Lorde 4. Nickelback 8. Fleet Foxes 11. Beth Ditto 13. Alison Moyet 15. Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit 16. Ride 17. Goldie 30. Nathan Carter 31. Way Out West Last Weeks Releases 5. London Grammar 20. Lindsey Buckingham & Christine McVie 23. Katy Perry 29. Lady Antebellum 35. Glen Campbell Other Notable Positions 28. Dua Lipa 32. Ariana Grande - My Everything 41. Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman 44. Alt-J 72. Roger Waters 127. Halsey 135. Linkin Park
  19. George Ezra and Solveig/ALMA sound good on first listen, Shania and Jax Jones sound pretty poor but that may be in comparison to previous material
  20. 103. Hailee Steinfeld - Most Girls This has collapsed down the iTunes chart in the last 10 days or so, was in the 20's/30's not too long ago 41. 5AM - Up In Here Meanwhile this has defied expectations, I thought it would be way out of the top 100 by now
  21. I have to say I thought Katy would be above London Grammar on the iTunes chart, but then again London Grammar's album is sublime, while Katy's is pretty disappointing

    1. London Grammar 8. G-DRAGON 10. Glen Campbell 15. Katy Perry :o :o :o 17. Lindsey Buckingham & Christine McVie 27. Lady Antebellum 31. Rise Against 49. Cigarettes After Sex
  23. ALMA - "Chasing Highs" is 59p and 3rd on the Hot Songs list, if this doesn't get it into the top 75 I don't think anything will
  24. Well I'd expect it to debut top 20, or are Justin Bieber and Quavo the only artists who can be deemed as "big releases" :D :P Seriously though, 4 top-10 hits, two of which went platinum, surely puts Sigala as a big release?
  25. Sigala ft. Ella Eyre - Came Here For Love
