iTunes Album Chart ~ 2017
23. Lady Antebellum - Heart Break    why on earth is this back up this high, pretty sure it plummeted down the charts after the first week, and rightly so given it's their weakest album since their debut

Radio 1 Playlist (23/06/17)
It's bizarre because it's not even in the top 200 on iTunes
-
New Release Schedule: Friday 16 June
Rita Ora has announced that her sophomore album will be released in November

Fair enough! I just don't understand why they'd release on a Sunday, unless they've got a live performance booked somewhere to premiere it?

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 16th June 2017
Is there a source for this?

New Release Schedule: Friday 16 June
Quavo is releasing his album, "ATL", on 23rd of June (this Friday). What are we thinking it will do, considering he doesn't actually have any solo hits?

Friday Chart Predictions
I'm just amazed that 5 After Midnight is still hanging on at #76, I thought they'd easily be out of the top 200 by now, even if I do like the song

George Ezra and Solveig/ALMA sound good on first listen, Shania and Jax Jones sound pretty poor but that may be in comparison to previous material

Friday Chart Predictions
I think it's one of the best albums of the year  it's received good reviews as well, but I can understand why it's not everyone's cup of tea

Friday Chart Predictions
I'm the One has fallen 3-8 in todays update surprisingly, so looks like we'll only have one Bieber song in the top 5 maybe :cheer: Speaking of Lorde, I think she'll be lucky to get #2, I was thinking she'll probably debut with around 15/16k, most likely behind Royal Blood and Ed Sheeran, but I guess it depends how London Grammar hold up next week as well, she could be pushed down to #4

103. Hailee Steinfeld - Most Girls This has collapsed down the iTunes chart in the last 10 days or so, was in the 20's/30's not too long ago 41. 5AM - Up In Here Meanwhile this has defied expectations, I thought it would be way out of the top 100 by now

I have to say I thought Katy would be above London Grammar on the iTunes chart, but then again London Grammar's album is sublime, while Katy's is pretty disappointing

ALMA - "Chasing Highs" is 59p and 3rd on the Hot Songs list, if this doesn't get it into the top 75 I don't think anything will

Well I'd expect it to debut top 20, or are Justin Bieber and Quavo the only artists who can be deemed as "big releases" :D :P Seriously though, 4 top-10 hits, two of which went platinum, surely puts Sigala as a big release?

Sigala ft. Ella Eyre - Came Here For Love

Friday Chart Predictions
Alt-J look like they might miss the top 5 then, depending on how Dua Lipa sells the rest of the week. Do we have any info on how far away she is/how much she sold yesterday?
-
iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 2nd June 2017
Well, he's had a silver certified single and another couple of top 100 hits, so I wouldn't say he has no hits
-
iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 2nd June 2017
148. Martin Garrix ft. Troye Sivan - There For You Even with all the Manchester songs in the chart, this is a bit of a disaster for both artists

Friday Chart Predictions
Have to say, I thought Halsey would have sold more than 4.5k, given that she has a fairly substantial fanbase, and that Dua Lipa isn't even in the top 5 in the midweek, especially because her album was up for pre-order for so long All Time Low will undoubtedly drop significantly over the week, and disappointing figures for Alt-J as well I think. I have no clue how things will go this week, especially places 5-12

13. Fifth Harmony - Down A really poor effort it must be said, but even so I thought it would hold up a little better than it is
-
Friday Chart Predictions
I agree, last week I was thinking around #6/7 for Dua then #8/9 for Halsey, but Dua is performing better on iTunes than I expected and Halsey is performing worse, so absolutely no idea at this point :P Both albums are great though, and I expect they'll stick around in the top 40 for a bit

I think I might be the only person not hating the 5AM song, and if I has the right exposure I can actually seeing it doing not too badly. But then again, I thought Adam Lambert's 'Ghost Town' would hit the top 10 and we know how that turned out
