The Future Of Girl Bands In The UK?
This Neon Jungle/Stooshe shade :/ Neon Jungle are not anything like Stooshe and nor will they end up as flops like them, listen to their 3rd single Welcome To The Jungle and embrace how wrong you are! Neon Jungle are the next IT girl group whether The Saturdays stans like it or not :D

I really hope Braveheart return to the top 40 somehow. :( If only their management would take notice of my emails

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
I get your point and agree but my argument is that Lee says they won't sell "any albums at all" which I completely disagree with. There is a lot of buzz around the group and they have barely even promoted the era - to say they won't sell any albums when they haven't even started promoting the album is riduculous. Just because he stans for The Saturdays and their album sold next to nothing doesn't mean every other girl band will follow suit. Neon Jungle appeal much better to the general public than The Saturdays do, and their image is spot-on and well liked by many that have heard of them. Dance music is also very popular this year and if their pre singles don't sell bucket loads, their album should be a guaranteed success. I also feel some posters on this forum aren't acknowledging the rapid decay of album sales in the UK, practically every album is being deemed a flop because of its sales tallies in comparison to years ago. 200k album sales in this climate is actually phenomenal and would most likely equate to 400k in the 2009-2010 sales climate, so even though I'm not a fan, hats off to Little Mix, their album sales are indeed impressive.

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
Who made you in charge of whether an album does well or not? What evidence do you have to as why it won't do well? Because all songs are dance bangers and there hasn't been a been a ballad yet? That is part of their whole appeal and what they're being marketed as and that's what will actually make them sell albums. Avicii and Calvin Harris have both done well with their albums of dance only songs. And the girls have mentioned that there will be ballads on the album, which they can obviously still release even later as post album singles. Apologies for such a brash reply but I'm just not a fan of generalised opinions. There's no way they'd leave Trouble off the album, it may have not set the charts alight but it was a cult hit and a buzz single, it proved popular in the US also so it would be silly to leave it off and I remember Shereen saying in an interview that the same energy and attitude that came from 'Trouble' - that's going to be there throughout their career. So don't worry Jonjo, Trouble will be there! :P

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
The song is an absolute banger like I said when the preview came out, where are those pressed haters now that said Neon Jungle would be over by single 3 and the next Stooshe? :P It's immense, I can see why they called it a rap song as well, I get Sexy No No No teas from the structure/production too. It isn't as instant as Braveheart but it should go down well with critics and later be one of their signature hits like Little Mix - Move or Girls Aloud - Biology for instance. Radio should eat this up also, they didn't support Braveheart probably due to Trouble underperforming but now that Braveheart has smashed without their support I'm sure they'll be back on board with Welcome To The Jungle. It is very fresh and current and trendy in comparison to the other girl band's singles like Not Giving Up - a rehash of 500 other dance pop generic that has been repeated and repeated over the years.

Neon Jungle - Braveheart
Braveheart peaked at #19 last week in the AUS chart, if the group could somehow promote there it should go top 10 and they could build up a fanbase there, something The Saturdays would never be able to do. Current iTunes positions: #19 Australia #45 United Kingdom #219 New Zealand #244 Ireland #337 South Africa #339 Latvia It has now sold a total of 169,750 copies in the UK so far :w00t: And its TV airplay is still somewhat steady, that's basically all that's keeping the single alive and word of mouth, which is phenomenal tbh. TV airplay: 22 17 NEON JUNGLE Braveheart (RCA) Sme 442 -13% 21

Neon Jungle - Braveheart
Welcome To The Jungle is another surefire hit for them and I see Braveheart sticking around for a quite a while, Up has had many years to build up to that 350k total so I don't really think you can compare the 2 singles. I also feel that Braveheart is more like their first single, the general public are only properly taking notice of them now. Trouble was like a buzz single/cult hit for them, I know that sounds ridiculous  But I feel as if they're now somewhat established due to Braveheart. Braveheart taking off in some international territories also proves that they are appealing to the general public and with that now in place I think their promo will improve as a result = better sales for their forthcoming releases. I'm actually hoping for another 2 singles before the album, maybe a midtempo or ballad after Welcome To The Jungle and then an album release. I'm very positive though and have faith in the girls that they can shake off the Stooshe and Mini Viva labels they've been getting by a few posters! :cheer:

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
#NEONS I just have a gut feeling Welcome To The Jungle will be just as huge as Braveheart, Braveheart was hardly promoted with an exception to tv airplay, like vivek says if they have some promo they will be massive! :cheer: With Braveheart doing so well I think Capital will support them even more and Radio 1 might even jump on board and even a TV promo slot or 2 is likely - with all that, their future is bright!

Neon Jungle - Braveheart

Other Radio Playlists
Does someone have a link for KISS FM's playlists, not the current one but previous one's as well? I'm specifically looking for the playlist around early August of 2013? Please and thank you :D

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
I know it's crazy but they remind me of All Saints. Like Asami is the Melanie Blatt of the group, Amira is like Shaznay, and Jess + Shereen are like the Appleton sisters except they're not blonde but have big hair. I'm not sure if people will understand what I'm saying though but I just get that impression.
