I'm not sure about the description of their new sound. I like Taylor Swift, but I just can't imagine them going down the country road. I'm still excited for the new album though :wub: :wub: :wub: It will be good to have them back finally. If they can shake off their 1D rivals image then I think they could do miles better :)

I really hope they don't get dropped. I think their first album had potential, they were just living in One Direction's shadow the whole time. I can't imagine that describing an upcoming release as a mix between Little Mix and Taylor Swift is the best way to go about selling it to people though.

Is anyone else completely struggling with this concept? I just can't imagine what it would sound like at all :huh:

This is a brill album. I think she's going to be huge this year and she deserves it - she's so talented. Does anyone else think her album cover next to Ed Sheeran's makes them look spookily similar?? It came up on my Amazon 'others who bought this...'

She has changed a lot image-wise. She was a typical 'indie' girl with her guitar when she started, but trends change and a lot of those who followed the 'indie' fashion scene at the time will probably be dressing a lot like Ellie is now. IMHO I think that's Ellie changing with the times, rather than purposefully trying to become edgier. I guess she's just grown up?

I agree - I don't really understand the reasoning behind this choice. There are so many catchy songs on the album that I think could do so much better in the charts. Must be a reason I suppose... And it's certainly not a terrible song.
