  1. It has indeed! Taken from the OCC article "Songs that lost their chart battle but are now bigger hits"
  2. How come Ultraviolence got more rounds in the last round? :drama:
  3. Eh? You think Slipknot will be doing +40k on their 3rd week?
  4. No but after waiting patiently for 8 year I'm finally seeing her next year :cheer:
  5. Brooklyn Baby?? Are you guys insane? Its the best song on the album and one of the best things she's done!
  6. Something is definitely coming within the next week! They've been testing YT Live on her channel
  7. This is so...mediocre. Forgot the melody already
  8. Speak Now didn't win AOTY, you might be thinking of Fearless. In terms of #1's she missed, we will never really know because we have no idea just how well they'd have performed if they were on Spotify but in my opinion, none of them would have went #1. Back in 2014/15, streaming didn't add anywhere near the amount of units it adds to sales now. Shake It Off actually was on Spotify and reached #1 there but it was over a month after release. Regardless of it topping Spotify it still only reached #2 so I'm not sure SIO ever would have made it to #1. Blank Space was up against Thinking Out Loud so I honestly think it would have peaked at #2 like SIO instead of it's #4 peak. Bad Blood was #2 on sales although it didn't get exactly a full week. Maybe BB is the most likely but its hard to predict how big its initial streams would have been following release of the video/remix.
  9. New song randomly dropped in response to the recent shootings in the US. f05T-DDQ6uQ
  10. Really like this! Takes a little to get going but love the choruses
  11. Blue Velvet can't go, y'all have no taste! The H&M advert was iconic
  12. Would have preferred a song for "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" but this will do :kink:
  13. I remember being totally shook and tbh a little disappointed it sounded so different from BTD but I still loved almost every song. Like others I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it because it feels so heavy and meloncholy. Brooklyn Baby is hands down one of the greatest things she's ever done, I cried when I heard that little snippet she put out as part of the album trailer.
  14. Interesting that there's a general consensus of around 50k in the UK but the US is all over the place  The 4 deluxe versions make it quite unpredictable imo
  15. So now we've had two secrets sessions we can compare information and see what's true and what's made up Track 1: Good album opening. Said to be like State of Grace but with a more pop production. Track 2: The best song on the album. A pop smash. Track 3: Solid track that sounds like something off of 1989. Really good lyrics. Track 4: Similar to track 3, very slight similarities to Blank Space but not as good Track 5: The Archer Track 6: General consensus on this song is that it's bad. A weaker version of ME! with cheesy lyrics. Track 7: Very forgettable a la 'So It Goes'. Probably a grower. Track 8: Very romantic song that sounds like something from Speak Now Track 9: Another romantic song with great vocals Track 10: Thought to be Dixie Chicks collab. Very emotional with great story. Sounds like a Speak Now ballad with 1989 production Track 11: Another catchy pop song but no where near as good as Track 2. Rather forgettable. Track 12: Fun but forgettable pop song. Track 13: Another ME!/Track 6 type of song. One of the weakest. Track 14: ME! Track 15: Great pop song Track 16: You Need To Calm Down Track 17: Strange but cool production. One of most unique songs. Track 18: Works well as a closer. Self produced by Taylor herself.
  16. Apparently Lana has a new single coming out next week for the movie "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark". It's a cover of the Donovan song
  17. Doin' Time didn't deserve to go :( Next is going to have to be MAC, sorry legend
  18. John-James posted a post in a topic in Forum News and Help
Let me know when you're hiring!!
  19. Less than 3 weeks to go so let's have a bit of fun! I haven't bothered going well over 90k and 1.2M in the UK/US respectively as its fairly obvious she won't be touching 1989 levels. Previous Openings UK Red - 61,000 1989 - 90,000 reputation - 84,000 US Red - 1,210,000 1989 - 1,287,000 reputation - 1,216,000
  20. Wow that's so cool! I remember recognising someone from my college in the Red Tour M&G's and being completely amazed she had been in Taylor's presence
  21. Thought I'd make a new thread for all the info we get from the 3 secret sessions instead of posting it in the Lover thread as most of what we get is rumours and fans creating false memories There's already been one in London and I believe second one is happening today
  22. I'd love a Lana forum
  23. I'll be gutted if Track 7 really is forgettable with an epic title like The Americana and The Heartbreak Prince
