Dancing ● 1st Single
I ended up thinking this for "New Rules" and now I'm starting to think I prefer the Initial Talk remix of "Dancing" too!?! The original is fabulous but there's just something about those synths !!!

Feud: Bette and Joan
Forgot to comment on finally seeing this, I managed to binge it in a couple of days as it is one of those shows that you just can't wait to see what happens in the next episode. Both Sarandon and Lange were absolutely fantastic and had some brilliantly bitter on-screen chemistry, there were so many gloriously sassy moments  Just need to get around to watching 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?' now!!

Lady Bird
Saoirse Ronan killed it here, I think it could be her best role yet for me. The mother and daughter relationship felt very real and the film as a whole was very relatable. It was nice to see more of Lucas Hedges and Timothée Chalamet too - I can't wait to see what they both do next, two very exciting young stars!! (I'd rather Shape of Water or Three Billboards win Best Picture though to be honest)

Golden Tour ● 2018-19
Got two standing tickets for the Newcastle date so I'm going with a friend and I'm super excited for it! Going to be listening to her Best Of... playlist at any possible moment. Just hoping the new album is even half as good as some of the classics, I have high hopes after "Dancing" too

Josh's Top 104 Movies of 2017!
45. The Beguiled I really enjoyed this, 90 minutes was a great run time to have because it felt really well paced even in the slower moments in the film which definitely worked in its favour - it would probably have risked being boring if it was any longer but I was thoroughly entertained for the whole film, especially in the more campy, over-the-top scenes (the leg breaking the second time especially was just so dramatic :heehee:) I loved watching the love square develop and the ending had such a great pay-off, the final act was so exciting. The whole cast did a good job but Kidman was probably my favourite, Dunst is always under-rated though :( 46. Logan Despite being the superhero movie with some of the best reviews of recent years, Logan ranks pretty low here on my countdown for a blockbuster hit. I did enjoy it but I'm much more of a fan of the quippy/light superhero flicks from MCU and this was just a bit dark and slow for me in comparison. I really liked how brutal the action was and was pleased they made the decision to make it a 15 as it definitely made it edgier than other X-men films. Having said that, I'm a sucker for a big CGI monster vs hero battle and this film provides something new instead, whilst critics were a fan of the more contained feel of this film, I'd have probably preferred to see another classic X-men villain come alive on-screen. 47. The Great Wall This is another film that I wasn't particularly excited for based on just the trailer but ended up being way more fun than expected. It was pretty much non-stop fantasy action from the very first second and I had a great time watching it. It's basically the definition of nonsensical popcorn flick but the special effects were decent and the action was entertaining throughout. Matt Damon was a charismatic lead character as usual and the run time completely flew by. 48. Gifted I wasn't particularly hyped to see this because the trailer made it look like such a B-movie so I was pleasantly surprised with how dramatic and touching it was. The little girl was really good at acting in the crying scenes and Chris Evans did a fantastic job in a more serious role too (plus his beard was completely gorgeous in this ). Octavia Spencer was my highlight in this though, she's always such a vibrant and warm character on-screen and it's impossible not to fall in love with her characters. I do wish we had seen more of her in this but she always seems to settle for supporting roles nowadays :( 49. A Bad Moms Christmas I did rather enjoy the first Bad Moms film but didn't exactly find it laugh out loud funny like I did other recent female-lead comedies such as Bridesmaids or Girls Trip. I would probably say this was slightly less funny but I definitely preferred it overall due to the addition of the grandma characters. All three of them were so perfectly cast and were easily my three favourite characters in the film. Christine Baranski especially had me chuckling with her perfectly timed line delivery. It could've done with more Christina Applegate who was a big reason the first film was so good but this will definitely be a future Christmas classic in my household.

Josh's Top 104 Movies of 2017!
She can definitely be a bit hit and miss! Home Again lies somewhere in the middle for me but it was still a fun way to kill some spare hours <3 Thanks for commenting Grant! They certainly could've marketed more aggressively though. It was a decent movie and deserved slightly better box office returns in my opinion :( Cheers Pavel!

Golden Tour ● 2018-19
I've really been getting into the Kylie classics recently and "Dancing" is genuinely one of my favourite singles by her already so I'm thinking of going to the Newcastle date with some friends. I'm sure she'd put on a great show and I'd love to hear some of the oldies live ("Love At First Sight" and "Better the Devil You Know" especially *.*)

Black Panther
I do appreciate that this is bringing a taste of something fresh and new to the MCU but to be perfectly honest, I did find it a little dull at times and found myself feeling a little bored. I feel like it could have done with a little cutting down because this is the first time I've thought that an MCU felt overlong for a long time. Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira completely killed it in their roles so I can't wait to see more of them especially. I was surprised at how genuinely funny it was at times though too, I belly laughed at Okoye using her wig as a weapon in the casino omg!!

Oscars 2018: Best Leading Actress
I was clinging on to a tiny bit of hope that Sally might have been able to clinch the BAFTA and maybe contend for the Oscar after that but I guess McDormand has this completely wrapped up now. I'm happy for her and think her performance was fabulous but I'm not sure she deserves a second Oscar before Ronan and Hawkins even have one. 1 Sally Hawkins (Such a good performance, especially when you think that it is in a language that she doesn't speak herself! The scene where Richard Jenkins repeats what she's signing was so impressive) 2 Frances McDormand (An incredibly charismatic performance and I couldn't imagine anyone else acing the role like she did but it just doesn't feel worthy of the win to me?) 3 Meryl Streep (One of her best performances in years to be fair and it was nice to see her do a bit more of a subdued performance again, this year is super tough though and I do feel she'll probably end up at the bottom of the pile again for me this once I see the other two nominees) Surely Saoirse is coming for the win next year with Mary, Queen of Scots?!? (pls)

The Lion King
"Be Prepared" is not going to be in the film. Only "Circle of Life", "Hakuna Matata", "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" will appear from the original film. SO disappointed with that news :( It's arguably the best Disney villain song ever (that or "Poor Unfortunate Souls" anyway)

Uncle Drew
Ept29ceiVfk It doesn't look like she's in it very much at all but I'm very, very, very excited to see more of Tiffany Haddish after she stole every scene in Girls Trip. The rest of this doesn't look all that funny really but I certainly won't be missing it.

Buzzjack Movie Awards 2017: Nominations Presentation
Hoping Viola Davis runs away with the supporting actress category - one of the most emotional performances I've ever seen and I was so chuffed for her when she finally took home the Oscar. Would have preferred Octavia Spencer to have made the nominees instead of Janelle Monae though personally even if neither were in my personal top five. Yay at the CMBYN nominees in supporting actor too. I'm still shocked neither of those nominations came to fruition at the actual Oscars, both of them did such great work and it just feels so overlooked :( The monologue scene especially is one of the most memorable scenes in the film and half of the success of the film is really down to Hammer (just as much as Chalamet in my opinion. He was the PERFECT Oliver!!)

Best Super Bowl Trailer: 2018
Couldn't be anything but Avengers for me. Probably the most excited I've EVER been for a movie in my entire life and every little bit of new footage is just getting me more and more hyped for it. I thought the Solo teaser was decent too but I am a little worried about that after not being huge on The Last Jedi.

Shawn Mendes | 3rd album
Not really thinking about the MUSIC when I see that picture tbh *.* (TYB, Stitches & TNHMB all bop so hard so I'm very excited for him to add to his holy trinity)

Buzzjack Movie Awards 2017: Nominations Presentation
Just catching up now and I'm surprisingly pleased with the nominees. I know what Buzzjack can be like at times so it's nice to see some fairly inspired nominees (now watch Zendaya and Zac Efron win the supporting categories or something... :drama:) The CMBYN take-over is very deserved and I'm so chuffed to see it have two nominations in the song category. That's going to be such a tough category to vote in because the music from all three of those films was absolutely brilliant. I think my heart lies with "Mystery of Love" though with potentially "A Lovely Night" just behind.

Trailer here: THWBs0_khNs Looks pretty thrilling. It's the sort of thing that could make mega bucks at the box office, especially with The Rock as the big star!

A Quiet Place
P8Q6ma2sfJQ A new TV spot from the Super Bowl. Still excited to see this as it looks like a really interesting premise - a bit nervous though because I feel like it might have me awake for days
