SEMI FINAL 1: DID NOT QUALIFY: 24th HERBILORE (THERA - erase) SEMI FINAL 2: DID NOT QUALIFY: 24th YEHESI (KAYA & Natalie La Rose - New Moon (Extended Mix)) This is a sad DNQ batch which is clearly affecting Ben Affleck particularly badly. Herbilore were on a hit run before this but this sadly couldn't quite make it in. SF1 was ever so tight when adding things up. Natalie La Rose is a former No.1 artist on Josh's Ajanaeda personal chart back in the day too. RIP.

SEMI FINAL 2: QUALIFIED: ALTYR MUUNILINST (Lydia Night - Pity Party) QUALIFIED: THE SPODIC EMPIRE (We Are Domi - Getaway) Anne Hathaway is starring in a film later this year about a popstar with original music penned by Charli XCX so clearly she just gets it when it comes to female vocal bangers. She's a busy lady so I didn't have her down as a fan of 14-minute epics but maybe she had time to listen between fake tanning sessions in prep for her recent role in 'The Last Showgirl'. SEMI FINAL 2: QUALIFIED: PALMYRA (ESSIRAY - LOVE TYPE) QUALIFIED: HINTERLANDIA (Blue Hawaii - I Felt Love) BABY Anna Paquin is overwhelmed at these two qualifying. Maybe she wasn't expecting it considering Hinterlandia haven't showed up to Ajanaeda and are taking part in the contest via email instead, hahahaha. Kind of like the Australia, on the other side of the world in many ways, yet still here with us in others. Palmyra also surprised her with a return to the contest after so long.

SEMI FINAL 1: QUALIFIED: BALEGHDE (Daya - Don't Call) QUALIFIED: WHY SO SIRIUS (Xina Mora & Metrika - 666 (Demonio)) A round of applause from Michelle Yeoh in our audience. I suppose you could say these results have turned out absolutely 'wicked' for both Baleghde and Why So Sirius.

SEMI FINAL 1: DID NOT QUALIFY: 26th KYLIENIPS (Shakespears Sister - All The Queen's Horses) SEMI FINAL 2: DID NOT QUALIFY: 26th OSLOL (Jordan Firstman - I wanna see my friends dicks) Matt Damon not impressed at losing these two. Maybe he also wants to see his friends dicks. I wouldn't mind if Ben Affleck flashed us a surprise during the semi results ceremony either.
