  1. You know it!! :D I'm psyched! I'm dead chuffed with a greatest hits! as long as they're not splitting after, which Frankie say's they are not, I am thrilled!! :D :yahoo: :w00t: :cheer:
  2. Agreed! This now has to happen! Along with a club banger, and a pop track so sugary it'll rot your teeth!
  3. I was ecstatic when I read that! I mean surely if this greatest hits was an end if the road type thing, they would say so, or at least, not stress that it wasn't! Therefore I am sure this means they are not giving up!!! Whoop whoop!!! Also this album is gonna be sick!!! :w00t: I'm quietly confident this can better Headlines' chart position
  4. Yeah, I always said Higher and Ego as first singles would have been number 1s Argh! It all comes back to bloody radio air play. I just don't get why Radio 1 would put Gentleman on the B playlist (I know they had just gone number 1 with WAU but still) and ignore this entirely, yet still play disco love. I just don't get it!
  5. I'm hoping so! In a way, I kinda wish they'd picked another track to release as the fifth single now, this one really does not deserve to go down as a flop! Something like Don't Let Me Dance Alone, I could have dealt with that diving :( What I really wish, is they'd released this when they'd released Disco Love, and Disco Love when they released Gentleman. *sigh*
  6. Is it possible that the TV promotion they are doing from Saturday might push them top 10, and then Capital (and maybe at a push R1) will play it more, and it might do a Higher/Ego - to a much lesser degree - and stick around top 10 for a few weeks? Or am I being naive and optimistic?
  7. Matt Cardle is ahead of them!! Oh lord this is not good!
  8. Thank goodness! I had a major panic when I logged onto twitter!!

  11. I could imagine that going down well
  12. OOPS! HAHA I know! I swear we've had essentially the same mailer for like the past 3 weeks

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! Always new Team Sats were the best!!!
  14. This is all very true! It just bugs me that it is recorded as their lowest charting single, when it's dead good. But it is true there were a lot of factors that should be taken into account in that regard, none more than the actual impressive sales for a song that only peaked at 22. I'm just praying that NGU at least comes close to the top 10!
  15. We can dream! You're right, but if it ever happened, I would absolutely die! Me thinks I should take to twitter to try and make this happen! (As if they're gonna listen! Good luck Stu!! <_< )
  16. I think they've had so many amazing songs that a greatest hits would show people how amazing they are, because as people have said, The Saturdays greatest hits, would be a strong one. I also think they should do a really good collab with someone who is well loved by the UK public, that would get them some good sales, and get them in the ears of more people! I think a sugababes VS Girls Aloud type thing with Little Mix would still be epic, and show people they are just as good as they are. Or a collab with Cheryl Cole would probably go down well, or even someone as bubble gum pop as they are like Kylie or Katy Perry, or even Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez type people (they're all very optimistic I know) I personally would love to see a Saturdays/One Direction collab, because they are 2 of my 3 favourite artists, and I think their music compliments eachother really well! and it would give the sats some serious international pedigree! only issue with that is 1D are moving into the more rocky, indie style pop (which I think the Saturdays can pull off - the rocky underlines in forever is over are sick) and they are trying to attract more male fans; unfortunately they would probs see a song with the sats as a step backwards in that regard <_<
  17. Agreed! I felt exactly the same way when Work peaked at 22. With that though, at least they sold loads of copies of Chasing Lights, Living For The Weekend failed in terms of sales, so this is turning out to be a much bigger disaster, and it is a real shame considering the song is so bloody good!!

I like to think that I usually am :P Tell me about it hon! Louis is so beautiful I could cry!
  19. Agreed! I think it could be the one thing that saves them!
  20. Completely agree. I had really high hopes for this single, because even though it was the fifth release from the album, the album didn't sell well, meaning lots of people didn't have, and may not have heard the song. Unless Capital starts ramming this song down people's throats, this could end very badly
  21. Oh! How embarrassing! I did not know that! http://24.media.tumblr.com/c0f6eb239fcb8f3b65129fa01f3a8e69/tumblr_mqetd3TTTB1sp9fcho1_500.gif I which case, this epically sucks!

Hahaha! Firmly on team Rochelle! Glad to be able to fight the cause! Rochelle is, and forever will be Queen Rochelle! :yahoo:
  23. NGU is released on the 6th, next Monday is the 24th March, a week later would be the 31st, so if it gets playlisted on Monday, it'll be 2 weeks :) No need to worry yet hon :) Well, not much

    Thank you!! :cheer:
  25. It's really sad :( Radio 1 seems to completely turned its back on pop music atm (With the exception of 1D and Little Mix, and a few others) and instead is focusing far too much on this horrid indie, trendy music that seems to be filling the charts these days :( all in an attempt to bring in a more hipster like audience! Seriously hate Music snobbery! If I remember rightly, Disco Love wasn't playlisted until 2 weeks before release, so maybe this will be the same *fingers crossed* Although that surely means any hope of being A-listed is out the window.
