Spotify & Apple Music Chart Discussion
Ugh, the UK is the only country where Save Your Tears is stalling!

Nathan Dawe & Little Mix • No Time For Tears
A #19 peak is what No Time for Tears deserves, it’s basic and generic.

Spotify & Apple Music Chart Discussion
Save Your Tears added to Hot Hits, it’s #45 but I’ll take it. Sweet Melody #1 again.

Jesy has left the group.
Jesy has been checked out of the band for some time now, she didn’t post when Confetti was released either, so I don’t know why people think she would post now. Personally I do think there is more to the story of Jesy leaving than has been said, but that’s none of our business and I hope they continue to keep it amicable.

Harry Styles - Treat People With Kindness
Hallucinate posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionI’m surprised by the lack of buzz around this video, considering the fanfare the Golden video got at the time, it charted almost everywhere just of the back of that video. I guess he has stretched this era as far as it can go, what a run he’s had though.

Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
If it’s true that they are not planning another single from Confetti, then I don’t think there would be any reason to re-record anything. I’m gutted Happiness most likely won’t be a single.
-
Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
Phew. Sweet Melody breaking the trend of their worst singles being #1.
-
Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
WOWWWWW! That’s surely sealed the deal then?
-
Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
Let’s be honest, the better song won. I like No Time for Tears, but it’s a 4 and Sweet Melody is a 10.

Harry Styles - Golden
Hallucinate posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionGolden has been reset to SCR and has moved up to #17 on Hot Hits UK. Looks like they are giving it one last push. Fingers crossed for top 20.

Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
Wow, RCA actually did something. If Sweet Melody makes #1 - the fans should be so proud because they pulled it off for the girls. I’ll save my celebrations for Friday, but this will be such a MOMENT if it happens.

Little Mix's Top 20 biggest singles on the Official Chart
Glad Think About Us has snuck in, it deserved so much better than it’s #22 peak, good to see it has healthy sales. Overall their sales are incredible.
-
Sweet Melody • 3rd Single
Sweet Melody is back at #1 on Amazon Music (CJ - #7, Ed - #13) so we just have to hope this makes up for the gap on Spotify.

38 Albums that turn 20 in 2021!
Surprised by the really poor sales of Emma Bunton’s debut, ‘What Took You So Long?’ felt huge at the time. Emma and Victoria’s sales stick out like sore thumbs on that list.

Santa Baby ● Christmas Promo Single
Great to see Santa Baby getting a new peak. The really need to make a new video for this next year and capitalise on the success which is building every year.

Spotify & Apple Music Chart Discussion
Good to see Snowman gaining traction this year for Sia, Snowman and Candy Cane Lane always felt like the obvious hits on the album. Santa’s Coming for Us is awful.

Is Sweet Melody their best song
I couldn’t say for sure after less than 2 months, but Touch and Sweet Melody will no doubt be my top 2.
-
LadBaby - Don't Stop Me Eatin'
LadBaby getting to #1 three years in a row is straight culture.
-
Confetti • 6th Album
The Woman Like Me performance on Strictly was MUCH better. Tonight’s performance was kind of boring.

Christmas Number One odds.
Because we only stream new Christmas songs if they are an Amazon Music exclusive.

Confetti • 6th Album
Amen. Sweet Melody hasn’t even charted in Australia, a market which was once supportive of Little Mix. The US is never going to happen. It’s frustrating, but just enjoy the renewed success Little Mix are having the UK, because even that seemed rocky for a while.

Confetti • 6th Album
Now that we have the full album would anyone have picked a different lead single or singles order? I think Break Up Song was the correct lead single and releasing Sweet Melody before the album was smart. However I would have gone with the below order. 1st single - Break Up Song 2nd single - Happiness 3rd single - Sweet Melody 4th single - Confetti (with a feature) Still praying we get Happiness as the 4th single next year.
