  1. My vinyl arrived yesterday (gorgeous) and I downloaded the 2020 Deluxe on iTunes. I think this is the 7th time I’ve purchased Glory! Original CD Original Deluxe (iTunes) Original Standard (iTunes) Original Vinyl Glory 2020 (with Mood Ring) Glory 2020 Deluxe (iTunes) Glory 2020 Vinyl

I’m happy for Mariah to finally get the #1, but then can they please create a Holiday Songs chart and where Christmas songs older than 3 years would appear, rather than on the main chart.
  3. Amen. Sweet Melody hasn’t even charted in Australia, a market which was once supportive of Little Mix. The US is never going to happen. It’s frustrating, but just enjoy the renewed success Little Mix are having the UK, because even that seemed rocky for a while.
  4. Now that we have the full album would anyone have picked a different lead single or singles order? I think Break Up Song was the correct lead single and releasing Sweet Melody before the album was smart. However I would have gone with the below order. 1st single - Break Up Song 2nd single - Happiness 3rd single - Sweet Melody 4th single - Confetti (with a feature) Still praying we get Happiness as the 4th single next year.
  5. Gutted there is no Vinyl, I bought the CD to support Miley, but I really hate CD’s!

Looking at Amazon’s charts, the Bieber song is currently #11 on Amazon Music Unlimited and #9 on Amazon Music Prime (where most of the Alexa streams come from). So, the track is currently #8 in the midweeks, this either means Amazon have a much bigger market share than predicted or Amazon are providing incorrect data.
  7. I’ve downloaded all the remixes and the NOW version. Sweet Melody is #6 on Amazon Music Unlimited and #10 on Amazon Music Prime and is the highest non-Christmas song on both. Positions is #27 and #20. Hopefully that helps with the gap on Spotify.

It’s a subjective statement. It’s my favourite Top 10 in a long time. You do you.

A Top 5 peak for Levitating will be incredible, especially when you consider Hallucinate’s tragic #31 peak. However, Levitating, Midnight Sky, Prisoner, Sweet Melody (& mediocre Positions) all possibly Top 10 this week. Best Top 10 in years?

Hope Prisoner is safe in the top 10. Is Mariah likely to be in the top 10 by the end of the week?
  11. It started at #41 on Monday last week and was #29 by Friday, so hopefully a similar boost this week.
  12. Sweet Melody is currently #1 on Amazon Music. I mean... If they can get Ellie Goulding the Christmas number one, why can’t they make Little Mix number one this week
  13. Hope this can sneak a week or two in the top 20. 5 top 20’s from one album would be incredible.
  14. Amazon Music #4 Apple Music #4 YouTube #5 Spotify #10 Should be another easy week in the top 5.
  15. Such a great song. It’s so strange how Rita appears to be back in the pop wilderness after scoring so many hits with her last album. I guess we are just not used to popstars taking big breaks these days. Usually there is always features etc to keep fans interested.
  16. I cannot believe the sales of ‘Slow’ are so poor, I’d say it’s one of her signature songs, she always performs it on tour, you would think that would have boosted it. Hopefully the Greatest Hits has benefited its sales over the last year. There can’t be many 2000’s number 1’s not certified Silver?
  17. ‘Break the Ice’ feels like her most forgotten single, along with ‘Do Somethin’ I would be surprised if ‘Break the Ice’ was anywhere near 180K, but stranger things have happened.
  18. Personally the use of that word in the song doesn’t bother me. However I do think it should be censored and should have been 10+ years ago, it signals to a new generation each year that it’s OK to use that word. Sadly, most straight people are unable to have a sensible conversation about this, that word being kept in the song is seen as some sort of win for the free speech brigade.
  19. Save Your Tears by the Weeknd is #110 - does anyone know why?
  20. I don’t think Confetti will be a single now, it will eventually go onto ACR and it’s already been added to Hot Hits UK, which is almost impossible to be re-added to once you’ve been on once.
  21. I’m so proud that out of everywhere, it’s the UK that latched into this and made it the hit it deserves to be. The Dua collab is obviously going to be huge here too.
  22. Wow, Radio is showing taste (Excluding Lewis Capaldi). It really has been Dua’s year. Stupid Love #1 for 5 weeks is just so random.
  23. I know it doesn’t really matter, as Kylie is an album artist these days. But, the playlists on streaming have been particularly harsh this time, no sign of any Kylie songs on “The Pop List” (Spotify) or A-List Pop (Apple Music). Kylie had a couple of songs on both playlists when Golden was released.
  24. Diamonds is #26 Levitating is #61 I don’t know if Diamonds being ahead on Amazon makes up for it lagging on Spotify, as I think Amazon is one of the bigger streaming services.
  25. Levitating is #12 on Apple Music and #11 on iTunes, a new peak for both (I think)
