What is wrong with using the word time? or even period? As the Saturdays once sang..... "You need to take a sit down with your era"

Yes there's no need for the constant overuse of it. It sounds like everyone's trying to be Lady GaGa. I've been having Greggs for lunch this era they are most delightful.

Oh I hate the winner. Shame it wasn't something less predictable like Janet Jackson's "If" at number 2. Well deserved especially as she also came second in the number 4 rate. But "If" doing so well is a shock. Also nice to see System F & Sophie B Hawkins doing well. Predictable radio indie/rock staples fill the rest of the ten though.

most older people are savvy enough to download now and don't want a cd case hanging around getting scratched and taking up space. Even big event singles like X Factor & Band Aid 30 didn't sell much on CD.

None are my favourite so far but definitely all certified classics. All arists whos albums or singles I've loved.
