just had a quick listen of the apple music previews and it seems i’ve found myself in quite the precarious position being sandwiched between two dance-heavy bangers. obviously ‘SWIM’ is also a dance track, but is much more mellow and somber which worries me that it’ll get swallowed up.

if it cements the decision any further i would also love a SF2 listen-through this eve! :cheer:

I was in The Alchemist in Cheltenham on Saturday and they played two of my own Buzzjack entries! You’re the Reason by the Wamdue Project (albeit a different remix), and the Inpetto remix of Pasilda by Helena Legend!

Reading the discourse I do feel awful. I was so happy that Ben accepted my prompt to take part, and then even still resubmitted following a veto. It was honestly as huge miscalculation on my part and I felt pretty terrible about it, but went to Bray as soon as I noticed it. I may not have been the perfect host, but despite the stress I did enjoy it, and I hope this doesn’t leave a bad taste in anyone’s mouth. Again I’m so sorry Ben, and to those where my horrible maths caused false expectations/results.

As you'll know there may be a few inconsistencies with Bré's numbers so I would trust his final scores more than mine! I will now need to take this time to issue a HUGE apology to Ben as I regret to inform you that you actually did qualify. It was a mix-up on my behalf where I only gave Cadelicia a 15% deduction as opposed to a 33% deduction which would have meant they finished 21st as opposed to 20th in SF2. I'm so sorry, especially as I know my PM to you may have been the prompt for you enter the contest in the first place. Of course, I have already made moderators aware. Thank you everyone for your patience, I am currently in the midst of moving house so this has been quite a challenge, but I hope you all enjoyed it nonetheless. And another extended congratulations to Riser, what a way to close 2023 for you. See you all in January :heart:
