It really is such a strong semi! Honestly I wouldn’t put it past any one of the techno entries (myself included) falling victim to the quality of this batch

Best Year: last year for sure! 10/10 qualifiers, multiple top 10 hits, and finishing at 9th in the EOY chart. Worst Year: 2020. Kicked off the year with CHUNG HA and finished 5th, which was by far my highest position at that point. That then went down hill with 5 DNQs shortly thereafter. EDIT: make that 6 DNQs lol

managed to grab a top 5 (no.5) for the first time in 130 with CHUNG HA it wasn’t then until 163 that i next appeared in the top 5 (no.2) with CATTY a nice, long 33 contest gap

there were 3 songs from last years’ contest that i just think were incredible and still listen to today… illusion, baby dragon and TRUST! stranded and i can tell will be one of those songs this year, i’m obsessed
