I think it was different. But yeah sure there are less funny sketches but then it was a totally unique and fresh way at doing sketches. Mostly it's funny and top marks for it's really observant sketches. It almost had a kind of realism to it and was popular more so in it's last series. They only stopped the show as they didn't want to scrape the barrel. You can see how they used it for Green Wing though which is funny for the whole hour, personally I find all of both shows hilarious but comedy works for some and doesnt for others.  at last night's though. Excuse me, would you like to sign a petition to allow teachers to smack children? Well, yeah...actually no, I wont bother. Doesn't really affect me. I'm never gonna have kids anyway. (Looks down at pregnancy bump then screams head off) :D :D

Ohh just randomly notice it's on e4 on Wednesday at 10.30pm Brilliant show, from the makers of Green Wing if you've never seen it. :D
  4. Oh great choice of B52s, seriously you're right - no one could think that song wasn't happy. Er...happy song would probably be A Teens - Halfway Around The World And sad song...Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends :(
  5. She was totally brillaint on Buzzcocks, probably because she is a presenter so it comes naturally. I do like her voice and reckon she should do the odd guest vocalist deal on tracks but I dont think making music is her passion anymore. Kenickie were darn good...I just think they didnt have much direction and their 2nd album is a bit random but yeah they were cool. She's probably better as a presenter.
  6. Gladiatress was pretty cool.

Grr, why all the $h!tting on the movie when you know nothing about it? I do think they've waited too long to make a movie but The Simpsons rocks and has basically provided me with enough laughs from my childhood onwards to last me forever. It's a classic show and I reckon the movie will be brilliant - they've obviously given it enough thought and time is going into making sure it's the best. As long as they dont have Marge have a baby or something - I read that was a possible plot. New characters are always cool, but if they changed the actual Simpsons main family it'd be wrong.

Series 2 is definitely as good as series 1. I really hope it does get talked about and noticed as one of the best comedies ever. It's so innovitive and unique...there's nothing like it. I love how a lot of it is just a collection of short sketches yet there's a plot and characters to care about and it's always funny! I agree about the writing, it's just sooo good and unpredictable...ahh it's so good to have it back on...

Great episode!!! And woo I think I noticed a few Smack The Pony sketches in it and it had Darren Boyd in it too!! It still really reminds me of it sometimes too which is freaking great... I loved the "BACK IN THE BOX" and was in hysterics ar Caroline singing The Kinks...Sue dressed as a squirrel! :D :D :D then talking normally to Guy. The thing I laughed at most was Sue doing her exercises in the cafeteria "You're all fattties" "You cant eat that" *kicks tray* :D :D :D :D The advert for next week's cracked me up so much, can't wait. :P

I'd sort of say it was inoffensive and I did like how it wasn't a chick flick - it could have easily been such a girlie movie but it was half and half. But it wasn't THAT amazing...good way to kill some time, though.

Series 2 starts on Thursday the 13th April at 10pm on BBC2. I'm strangely excited despite seeing the series a few times. Watch it though for a great unique comedy.

  14. Oh, I was wondering why he dedicated the song to her on TOTP.

I can't wait to get the DVD. I think I might start taping series 2 or something, seems like we waited ages for this DVD hell knows when the next one will arrive. I laughed at this bit: Angela: Perhaps you need to lie down Martin. Martin: Yeah. (He starts to mount/lie down on top of Caroline) Angela: NOT THERE! Ohh and the final bit!   Sue: Pregnancy - you may feel faint. *COLLAPSES* :D :D

  17. I Need A House is the next single!!! I'm really excited about hearing the album now as the clips sounds amazing, I was a bit miffed at only 10 tracks but at the end of the day at least it's not covers or anything. A bit about the album from her website:

I think they're all pretty good movies...haven't seen #4 though but the main 3 are funny.

I thought the recent episode was boring. The Joan Collins character was so weird...what was all that "no one messes with Eva" business. I did laugh at that thing. Tanya: I'm surprised you haven't broken anything at your age. Eva: Not even a nail, dear. *gives 1 finger*

Yeah, it was awesome. The hand job thing I thought was a bit rather sick in a way...I know it's a comedy but meh...it was more sort of eugh than lauaghable tho I was in hysterics at the fake arm! :D :D Sue stole every scene really...she was just hilarious throughout. I loved when Alan hit that woman because he thought she was a wolf. The only thing I didn't really get was that they didn't really follow up Guy and Joanna sleeping together (much) or I was hoping they would have started the episode on the cliff or something...but either way it was really funny and great to have it back!

I was gonna get it from Woolworths but I reckon I'd save about 50p or something...anyways 10 minutes!!! I can't wait.

They were flipping hilarious, especially the Baywatch/Brit-Madonna/Batman/Kill Bill bits. I suppose the last one I actually bought was The Mighty Boosh boxset: http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B000CQK070.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

I dunno, I remember the web chat with Joanna about half way through the first series and she said then they'd been comissioned for a 2nd series already...but even as the series went on it still only had about 1 million viewers a week. I'm happy they decided it was worth making a 2nd series though. I haven't read the episode guides but you can on the channel 4 website, only 8 episodes by the looks of it. Oh and it's 13.99 on Blah! http://www.blahdvd.com/blah/DVD_Product.as...D-C4DVD10016-IY

I've found Guy hilarious lately. Guy: (at the pic of Jesus) Who's that ponce in the beard? Is THAT Noel Edmonds. Caroline: Kissing in the toilets...we were err just saying who sang Kissing In The Toilets in 1979. Guy: George Michael. Caroline: Yes! Guy: Wow, that was just a guess. Kissing in the toilets...don't flush. It's lush. Last night's was one of the best episodes for me, I just thought it was constantly funny and it had so many good bits. Especially Sue trying to kill Caroline and the scene with her and Mac. Sue: House number? Mac: It's 16. Sue: (Typing) My God, I want you so much...I wanna feel you in my mouth.

I just dont think they actually care much about Liberty X anymore. Like Michelle has her column in OK and in it all she seems to do is take holidays and stuff. The others just head off an be in reality tv shows and do their own thing. It's a real shock that they're still going and people like Amy Studt get dropped. I have their first 2 albums and the first is great, but the second really bored me...I wouldn't buy the 3rd.
