What a shock - people + buzzjack and they dont like it. The thing with Green Wing is it never really has full proof plots so even trying to tie it up would have been awkward to do - so it just ended in madness like always. Funniest 2 hours of comedy I have seen in a long time. Absolutely sad to see it go - way before it's time. My favourite bit was probably "we need to hide the body" and they pour cornflakes on her. :D :D :D

Well I haven't seen classic Doctor Who, I'd like to see it repeated though so I could get a feel for it. I was looking at the boxsets for the new series and series 1 is £51.99 - for 13 episodes?? Entire boxets of Buffy are £15.99 at the minute. So hmmm that annoyed me. Even not seeing it I respect that original fans might have issues with the changes. I don't think the comedy moments always work in it, sometimes they do when appropriate...I like Torchwood but I think sometimes it's gone too dark which takes the escapism away from it, if it was the same as the better episodes of series 1 I'd deffinitely prefer it. I liked all of Christopher series and I do like David Tennant (Billie's better for me tho) but some episodes of series 2 were just bad. Mark's episode was a highlight! Glad that people like Torchwood - wasn't sure if Doctor Who fans thought it was going too far. Hot Fuzz is February! Woo, I knew it was coming but that's close! Cant wait. :dance:

I respect ken Russell made some movies but is a director really someone you could call a 'celebrity?' baffling. Suprised they didn't chuck in a soap star. Not a great line up, they dont seem that interesting to be honest.

I have to agree with what you say about Green Wing actors and Simon Pegg (I'm glad he's getting so much sucsess as a movie performer) - then again, if Simon was as big as Ricky we might be saying he's over-rated. But I doubt it as he's truly made some classic comedy. I think comedy actors can do straight roles easier than straight actors doing comedy but I guess it can go wrong for some people! I like the comedy actors who stick to comedy as it's often what they're best at. I personally wouldn't call Doctor Who a straight acting role, it's tongue in cheek and often has a bit of comedy thrown in. Simon's cameo was that and people like Trigger from Only Fools and Peter Kay - made me laugh so I figured it was supposed to be OTT & comedy.

I did hate this for a bit as some episodes were shockingly bad but I think they were just trying out ideas to see what the show was. If they know more about what the show is then series 2 should be an improvement. It's better when about time travel and things like that.

I didn't actually think he was...then again I didnt pay much attention to Steps.

Sophie Ellis Bextor - glad she's appreciated but her songs are very good. Petra/September - Amazing voice, up there with the likes of Natasha bedingfield. Sarah Nixey - should be as sucsessful as Alison Golfrapp Manda Rin - genius. Give me those lot over some of the more famous ladies about any day.

Actually in all this time I dont think I've ever read one comment where someone says Way To Go! isn't good. Hope it charts as high as it deserves. Fantastic tune.

Exactly. Everytime Dawn is on screen or in interviews she's completely covered up. Thats hardly putting her weight in peoples faces is it? So because she's fat she shouldn't be allowed to act! There's a comic relief finale episode. It's been resurected. :dance:

You dont like how the shows gone, so you attack Dawn? She spends her life trying to make people smile and be happy - she doesn't deserve that sort of treatment. and certainly doesnt dish it out to people. And wow some ending - she got married! That really ended the whole show in such a horrible, awful way - the characters are ruined forever!!! Oh my god. I think I may just cry myself to sleep worried sick now The Vicar of Dibley is ruined! It got 12 million viewers and a million more viewers for the last ep than the Xmas, so obviously there are people who still love the show.

Yeah. And Dawn French may not be skinny but she isn't ugly...plenty of men fancy her. There's a difference. She's also what, in her 40's? How many women in their 40's are rake thin supermodel types - in general. The storyline wasn't amazing but so what, I was never a huge fan of it but when I saw it before the plots were never huge.

The Girls dont write the songs - so it doesnt matter what they look like. It's the team behind them who are making innovative pop songs. Usually people who are doing great sounds aren't always huge especially in pop - just look at the case of Girls Aloud latest singles and Sophie's chart positions from her last album. Agh exactly! I HATE IT. I also listen to European acts but then, I just hope they never go that way! It's all looks over talent. occasionally there's the odd gem in pop like Girls Aloud where the music is actually good. It's the people who look up to Paris who are worse than her. She's a human orange Calippo. Seriously! Get real.

I read it on digitalspy and no I think it's 2 more after this series! Great stuff. This series is gonna feature more of other characters and I guess the same for the next 2. I love the family with the scouse Mum. Shes hilarious.
