  1. David Guetta and Emeli Sande only #38 after that performance. Am I missing something...?
  2. Oh, that's good to know. :D I never knew that about 'Sit Down' :o , one of my favorite songs of all time. I know I've bought more but they weren't showing on my iTunes for some reason...
  3. Bryan Adams - Summer Of 69 Johnny Mathis - When A Child Is Born REM - Losing My Religion Maria McKee - Show Me Heaven Bette Midler - Wind Beneath My Wings U2 - The Fly James - Sit Down Fleetwood Mac - Little Lies Paul Young - Come Back And Stay Paul Young - Every time You Go Away Elton John - I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues Obviously slightly older than most above :P
  4. This. If I were forced to pick the least rubbish one then it would probably be 'Heroes'.
  5. I thought one of the reasons it may have stopped was due to Cowell's absence from the show and now he's back etc. But yeah, we most probably would have heard by now if there were to be one. :teresa: 'Real Love' is the best of the bunch and I like him as an artist so that wouldn't be too bad...
  6. We could potentially be looking at three or four covers/remakes in a row, with 'Wake Me Up', Band Aid 30, and The X Factor's winning single. Not to mention if 'Real Love' manages to get there on a quiet week and if Simon Cowell decides to release another X Factor Finalists single. :puke2: I understand that all are for a good cause but for originality's sake I can't be the only one that hates this time of year for the charts. <_<
  7. Worst number one this year. Hate this time of year for number ones in general, with the X Factor's winning song, Children In Need single and now the John Lewis advert all threatening the top spot, stopping original good songs. :puke2:
  8. This is so bland. Sounds like a Christina Perri song... And these are the same people that released 'Untouched'?
  9. Really? And that raccoon joke... Only Joey from 'Friends' can pull a raccoon joke off.
  10. Back to back George Ezra.
  11. Oh, cheers. :o Still, this era has been so disappointing for me, even 'Thinking Out Loud'. More songs like 'The A Team', 'Lego House' and 'Small Bump' please.
  12. My least favorite Ed Sheeran song. -_- I don't even understand what he's saying in the beginning of the chorus? Are there a few words that have been censored out on the above?, it just sounds like it doesn't flow very well...
  13. 'I Lived' Deserved to be so much bigger, along with 'If I Lose Myself'.
  14. I liked her presenting 'Playing It Straight' (I think this is the same person anyway?), but I find her repetitive and irritating as a radio host. But I guess I wouldn't feel the same if I didn't choose to read post quoting the same thing she said last week, and the week before etc. :P 'Break Free'.
  15. Jameela Jamil is extremely irritating to listen to. I thought it was just user's posts that annoyed me (yes, I think we all know she says "Actual" a lot by now), but as a host she seems to ramble on and I think it's quite unprofessional to know her opinion on any song.
  16. I would preferred this to be the official Children In Need single and this week's No.1.
  17. Waves is such a feel-good, summery track. Deserved all the success and longevity that it's had. ^_^

  19. JAY17 posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Pharrel Williams - Happy Little Mix - Word Up! Little Mix - Salute Katy Perry - This Is How We Do Nicki Minaj - Anaconda Gareth Malone's All Star Band - Wake Me Up 'Bang Bang', 'Problem', 'Crazy Stupid Love' and 'Shake It Off' all annoying, but at least I can see how they're catchy etc., whereas the above are just plain awful. :puke2:
  20. Hopefully either Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith or Calvin/Ellie. Absolutely hate these John Lewis adverts, and generally anything that feels the need to murder an already known and perfectly fine song by (usually) picking a female artist and ask her to sing it as slow and dreary as possible. (The X Factor and yes, even Children In Need etc.) :puke2: Why, oh why can't they have a bit of originality and some effort to put together a new song and save tainting the memory of others. I will never forgive the above culprits for 'Cannonball', 'Run', 'Somewhere Only We Know', 'Hallelujah', 'Teardrop', 'Wake Me Up'. Cover 'Mr. Brightside' and 'A Design For Life' and be done with it. The only time this has ever worked is 'Perfect Day'. Buy the original and in the case of charities, donate straight to the charity itself. I'm just grateful that this year it's an artist who I like and a song I had no previous opinion on. But if 'Another Love' can't achieve it then this certainly doesn't deserve to... Rant over. -_-
  21. Finally some good songs on the horizon with Clean Bandit, David Guetta and Alesso. The pre-orders have looked extremely dull for the last month or so... Joss Stone and McBusted though. :puke2:
  22. Surprising even myself here, but has to be 'White Noise'.
  23. 'Promise This'? In fact I'd say all her number ones bar 'Fight For This Love' are pretty much forgotten now.
  24. The Hurts and FrankMusik.
  25. It's a shame no one's mentioned the rise on U2's new songs... Still hoping they at least make the top forty on official release.
