  1. 101. Bang Bang - Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj Does this sound as bad as the artists attached to it would suggest? Jessie J and Nicki Minaj on a song, together ... Keep on climbing Kiesza and Duke Dumont  :yahoo:

As for recent consecutive No.1s go... Duke Dumont featuring A*M*E Need U (100%) Rudimental featuring Ella Eyre Waiting All Night Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams Get Lucky Naughty Boy featuring Sam Smith La La La Spring 2013 :yahoo: Storm Queen Look Right Through (MK Remix) Martin Garrix Animals Could have included 'Of The Night' and 'Under Control', had that hideous cover not have been allowed. :puke2: Sigma Nobody To Love Kiesza Hideaway Mr. Probz Waves (Robin Schulz Remix) Calvin Harris Summer Surely the best consecutive No.1s we've had for a long, long time and most defiantly this decade. And thought I never followed the charts back then, I would have loved the 1999-2000 period for brilliant dance music (Sash!, ATB, Alice DeeJay, York etc.), and the mid 1990s for BritPop. Also enjoyed following the charts during the indie-pop revival in 2005-2007 (The Killers, Stereophonics, Coral, Snow Patrol, Razorlight, Keane, Embrace etc.)
  3. I'm still hoping ZHU manage No.1, somehow  Eric Prydz, Vic Mensa and Bakermat to all do well this week too. Bars and Melody :puke2: Who's buying that rubbish...
  4. 'All Of The Stars' missing out.
  5. Well let's hope. 'Giant In My Heart' is a great follow up.
  6. No, I didn't realise that, but it still isn't exactly a sign for a smash is it. I'm sure 'Hideaway' was a lot higher on pre-orders this same time before release?
  7. So frustrating to see such rubbish as Bars and Melody ( :puke2: ) and Melissa Steel so high up on pre-orders, yet Wankelmut, Kiesza and Duke Dumont so low
  8. 'Faded'?
  9. This would be the best No.1 since 'I Wanna Feel' for me, after a string of mediocre (It's My Birthday, Me And My Broken Heart) and rubbish (Problem, Crazy Stupid Love) No.1s that we've had recently. -_- I'm still holding hope for 'Giant In My Heart', 'Won't Look Back', 'Am I Wrong', 'My Head Is A Jungle' and 'One Day (Vandaag)' to all reach No.1. Now that would be a great run.
  10. 70. Am I Wrong - Nico & Vinz 188. Boom Clap - Charli XCX 279. Faded - ZHU 310. One Day (Vandaag) [Radio Edit] - Bakermat 312. Always (feat. Alana) [Route 94 Radio Edit] - MK 411. Lovers on the Sun (feat. Sam Martin) - David Guetta 479. Way We Are (feat. Melissa Steel) - Kove 540. Home (feat. SAM ROMANS) - Naughty Boy 564. Benediction (Radio Edit) - Hot Natured 675. Giant In My Heart - Kiesza 693. Down On My Luck - Vic Mensa 756. My Head Is a Jungle (MK Remix) [Radio Edit] - Wankelmut & Emma Louise 914. Won't Look Back (Radio Edit) - Duke Dumont Some great songs in the pipeline  Hopefully a few number ones in there as well...

Hopefully 'Rude'. That Cheryl Cole song is awful, and would be no where near as high on pre-orders had it been released by most others. Never seen the appeal personally, bar '3 Words' and to a lesser extent 'Call My Name'.

  13. I think Tiesto could have saved us from one of the most boring No.1s of the year. I suppose the standard couldn't have been kept all year, I just wish it wasn't some random X Factor finalist to break it. Admitidly it's far from his best, but it's nice to see Tiesto so high in the charts after being absent for so many years.
  14. I actually think 'Wasted' is one of his weakest songs to date, I would just love anything to prevent 'Ghost' going to No.1 to be honest. I actually really liked 'Red Lights', though I still prefer his earlier material ('Just Be', 'Love Comes Again' and 'Barbers Adagio For Strings', in which I like the William Orbit original just as equally).
  15. If only Tiestio could have somehow beat Ella Henderson  'Here For You' needs to smash at No.1.
  16. As in we all know that pre orders are something to always go by... I wouldn't say my opinion is always right, but thanks :D
  17. Oh God, let's hope so. The next few weeks are looking terrible if the pre orders are anything to go by (which we all know they are) :puke2:
  18. Wow, the No.1s really are about to take a turn for the worst.
  19. The A Team > Lego House >> Drunk > Small Bump >>> Give Me Love >>>>> Sing >>> You Need Me, I Don't Need You I have left out his unreleased material and collaborations (i.e 'Everything Has Changed', 'Hush Little Baby', 'You') Nonetheless he's a great artists and I'm happy he's on his way to achieving his first No.1, it's just a shame it has to be with this song.
  20. Completely disagree. I think June is looking to be the weakest month for releases we've had this year so far. None of them releases excite me and they're all terribly average (or in 'Problem's case awful), compared to what we've been having.
  21. And 'Promises' and 'Under Control' please! :D
  22. 'SELFIE', 'Tell Me Ma', 'Tsunami (Jump)', 'Can't Hold Us' and one or two other good ones that I've suddenly forgot...
  23. I'm hoping for a rise in all them songs featured in BGT's first act :D
  24. I'm in the minority in thinking 'Sing' is one of his weakest singles, and would rather it missed No.1 purely because it wouldn't seem right to me when most of his other singles are miles better. I like the chorus in 'Ghost' but find everything else really average. I agree that it would be interesting if both were released the same week, it would increase the possibility of eliminating at least one average song making No.1.
  25. Wow, the irony of you telling me to stop trashing other people's opinions only yesterday... If they believe there's a similar beat then that's their opinion. Was there really any need to be so harsh and patronising?
