Thanks TT. Since I had the op for lung cancer (would you believe now 6 years ago :D ) I seem to get ill quite frequently with all sorts of things. Never mind.

Thanks TT for all the pics, reviews etc. At least he's keeping his name before the public during this drought of anything else.

Thanks TT - great news. I've been a bit unwell with bronchitis this last week or so and haven't been around, but hopefully I'll make up for it this week.
  4. Thanks so much for that. :D Happy memories. So glad he got a Brit for that, and by golly didn't he look handsome when he went up to receive it.
  5. Thanks for that TT. :D Happy memories. I know he's done different versions, many, many times over the years, but I think that was the first time he sang it on TV, and it still remains my favourite. Despite the fact that he had a bad cold he was brilliant, and I loved the belt he put behind that long "Please", which of course wasn't on the CD, which I think was due for release the Monday following that performance. Never forget the hullabaloo because there were not enough copies.
  6. Deleted - double post
  7. Your husband must be a male version of Mystic Meg, TT. :heehee: And as for Eg White, despite his having been around for some time, didn't he also say it was the start of his career big time. After LRN everyone wanted a piece of him.
  8. Loved this and still do. I always felt (and I think probably we'd all agree), that this was the start of Will's career proper.

Thanks TT. Is he back to wearing his woolly hats I wonder.

I've already beaten you to it.
  13. Loved the two B sides of the CDs, and still play them regularly. I particularly loved RON. There's a lovely little bit in the middle where he gives a little laugh. I was never that keen on DLMD, and could never say why. I know Will wrote it, and he seemed stuck on the idea that it should be the A side, presumably because it was for CIN, but I always thought Y&I should have been the lead song. And whilst the CD sold well, I think with Y&I being lead it would have sold more. If my memory serves me right it got to #2. Still can't get over that damned LAWR being on Will's album. :arrr:

What's this????? :o 2 or thereabouts years from now, or two years or thereabouts since the last album? If its from now I just give up. :arrr:

Another convert in the years to come? I'm sorry Suggy for the terrible latest, but I hope you had a very Happy Birthday. :D It certainly sounds as if you did.

Lovely bearded Will, but I wish you'd start thinking about music, this sabbatical has gone on for too long. :( Editing to say thanks TT.
  18. Likewise. I was really annoyed when it was included on FNO, whereas it wasn't on GG's first album. :arrr: (I think I'm right in saying that). Thank goodness it was the last single/album Will had to do for SCowell.

Thanks TT. :D It really is great that the Forum continues to be high in the Forum Charts despite there being nothing doing at the present time.
  20. It just showed me how much these so called music "experts" actually know about music, when they couldn't differentiate between the two versions. I think Jim Morrison's vocals are appalling on his version.
  21. Thanks for the vids. Many memories, in particular waiting for Woollies to open with my money in my hot and grubby hand (I've still got the receipt). Then having the radio on full blast waiting for the DJs to play it, with my own CD playing in the background. Then finding out that the CD had sold almost 400,000 copies in one day, which led on to selling almost 1,200,000 in one week. :yahoo: a record never to be broken. No downloads in those days - they were all physical sales. So proud.

Thanks everyone. :D So glad to be back, for a moment in October I didn't think I'd make it but you can't keep a bad penny down, so here I am.

That's really good, especially as he's not promoting at the moment, and Cabaret finished a while back. But, dear Will, I think the music drought has gone on long enough, so how about getting back into gear.

A very belated Happy New Year (and Happy Christmas) to you all. :D Since October have had two unexpected fairly long stays in hospital, but now hopefully on the mend yet again, out of hibernation and looking forward to the longer days, :) although I'm due a short stay in hospital early February. Don't know what the NHS would do without me. Such a lot seems to have been going on in Will's world in recent weeks, will have to get the specs back on and start reading. I've just realised it's someone's birthday tomorrow. Happy Birthday William (and Rupert) Editing to say it appears I will have to do something about my Christmas emicons. Now they've have gone - don't know how that happened.
  25. It's great you got to see the show Jester, not only once but twice. :cheer: I haven't been able to see it, and from all the great reviews the show has had (and I haven't read one bad one) I've obviously missed out on something terrific. Never mind, I'm just so glad that it's worked out so well for Will.
