Daily Will Rant Thread 2
Too true - gone are the days when he sold 1,102,000 in one week, or even the 190,000 (or thereabouts) LRN sold in it's first week. I think he's doing very well, bearing in mind he's not been on major TV showings (unless you call GMTV a major show  ) and the music scene has totally changed so much since KO. It seems to me that the powers that be aren't worried about the lead single, and it's all about the album. :yahoo:

Daily Will Rant Thread 2
My rant - bloody garage. New car all ready to be picked up to-day, and they ring to say that when they went for the tax they had the wrong documents, and will have to wait for their HO to send the right ones, so can I come back tomorrow when it's been sorted out. Why on earth didn't they check first. According to them they've had the documents since yesterday.

TV & Radio airplay - updated 14/9
I wondered if I'd got the wrong title when I looked over on D. Could have sworn I heard the words Who I Am, but whatever, it was about 11.10. this morning. I know it was about that time, as the garage rang just after to say they hadn't got the tax for the new car, but would get it for tomorrow.

TV & Radio airplay - updated 14/9
I'd forgotten about Ken Bruce and Album of the Week  but I was just cleaning out my car (I'm getting another one later to-day), put Radio 2 on and heard this wonderful voice. Took me a minute or two to realise it was Will singing Who I Am, and then Ken Bruce confirmed it at the end. It really is beautiful. Apart from Changes, it's the only one I've heard from the album, and if that's anything to go by no wonder the music critics are stepping over themselves to be enthusiastic. And I'm really a very bad fan - just can't keep up with things the last week.

Single Reviews
And one from this week's NEW mag. Have to thank Ruthie on D for both this and the Heat review. Bit silly of them to say that. As if nowadays Will would bring out a cover for a single. Long gone is 2002. But good review all the same.

Happychat thread part trois!
Obviously not a patch on "our" Will, but yes he was cute TT - but then most 4 years old are - at least I think they are. Anyway he won 1st prize, so he went home happy. :D But I really couldn't believe my ears when he said his name. Talk about coincidence.

Thanks for bringing that interview over suggy and TT. Always thought the Guardian was a bit anti in the beginning. Amazing how times have changed.

I'm so sorry sunday. He's a very good age for a cat, and you wouldn't want him to go on like this. Difficult at the moment I know, but try and think only of the good times and the years of happiness you've had with Thomas. :friends:

Happychat thread part trois!
I helped do a flower show on Saturday, and guess the name of the first entrant who came through the door. No - OK - William Young - (aged 4 years) entering the miniature garden class. I couldn't believe my ears when he said his name - thought it would be a good omen, and it was.

I understand how you must be feeling, having been through similar things myself with my cats, but I do hope you have good news to-day sunday. :friends: Wasn't Thomas ill earlier this year (or was it last year)?

Changes Download
Well that was very well done #10 on downloads, and #1 on airplay. :cheer: I downloaded Changes last week, but haven't ordered a physical yet. I was going to do so this week. Like you suggy I have to rely on ordering online, as the nearest HMV is some 40 odd miles away at the MetroCentre, Gateshead. :( At least I think it is. Lucky you F/G. Have you got the CD in your hands yet? :cheer:

Yes you did Pearl. Sony/BMG actually admitted that KO was their highest download for that year. The fact they've now also admitted that KO went well over 1,000,000 (do love that magic figure) proves it, when you look at the published figure of 960,000. Either way what was supposed to be a "flop" record, did rather well didn't it? B) :yahoo:

Oh dear - why is nothing ever straightforward with the releases of Will's music. :(
