Hello :hi: It's been a while!!
Over the next few days I'm going to do my countdown of my top 130 songs of the year, which I've rinsed on repeat again and again <3 I've barely been on the forum this year so hopefully this'll be less predictable than usual, with some surprises! I've also stopped doing my personal chart so for once this isn't a YEC based on my charts throughout the year, and just my own personal taste haha!

Ahh final show tonight, want to stay up but I’m shattered so hoping to wake up to some great news!!
What I want: debut and Rep tv release dates / TS12 announcement / Xmas album announcement / live album announcement / new TTPD video (that isn’t a tour video) / sweeter than fiction TV FINALLY on streaming / Christmas tree farm performance / mash-up of any songs she hasn’t done as a surprise yet (obvs referring to the likes of girl at home, and not the ones like Ronan/SYGB which’ll understandably not happen)

Finally a release date announced for the movie version of Wicked 💚 Have been waiting for this for about at least 4 years so I'm so excited that something finally seems to be happening! (Even if it is ages away!)

Also entering as I want to enter one edition this year where I remember entering :kink: (I had to go on a deep dive when Bre said I’d entered Iselin previously this year in the confirmation thread from a couple of months ago, as I had zero recollection of sending chewing gum! Looking at the March confirmation thread, I think I’ve just about worked out that I entered in the early hours of the morning during a very heavy night out when I was not at all sober, and just never remembered that I entered oh dear 😂 I see you all did that bop wrong though x)

Up there with the best nights of my life :cheeseblock:
Just all completely incredible. SO many highlights - Cruel Summer, All Too Well 10 Mins, Don’t Blame Me + LWYMMD, Cardigan (the folkmore set was my fave), Marjorie, Shake It Off, Whos Afraid Of Little Old Me etc - so blessed to hear some of these songs live for the first time and everything was such a moment! Three and a half hours of just pure singing, joy and tears, and somehow surpassed my sky high expectations!! What a legend, it’s insane what Taylor pulls off in one show!! ❤️ literally could write a paragraph on every single song, some translated so well live (eg the smallest man who ever lived), and every era was just so many great memories.
Happy enough with the surprise songs! We were kii-ing when she started thank you Aimee - I still have no idea what I think about the song (it’s catchy but so unnecessary hahaha, and the lyrics are something else), but it works acoustically and with an audience! And my 10-year-old-self nearly broke down when she went into Mean, that was such an essential and fave Taylor song of mine growing up!
And castles crumbling was a really cool and unexpected moment! Taylor and Hayley sounded so good together, the song works fantastically on piano, and it was lovely seeing their relationship with a few moments of laughter and friendship fully on display during the song!
Loved the support acts too!!! Paramore have so many superb songs in their catalogue, and Griff was absolutely superb - two acts I’ve always wanted to see live! (And both performed all my faves of theirs bar Big Man Little Dignity and Astronaut - tho the former was never happening and the latter not having a piano ballad when supporting isn’t too unexpected). I think Anything might be up there with my fave Griff songs already, it’s pure pop perfection and I can’t take it off repeat!
And finally shoutout to the random one person who kept playing the same Taylor song on repeat both before AND after the show on the path leading up to the stadium - I heard it 6 times today! And of all the possible choices from her catalogue… that song being… Macavity!! 😂😂 I have now heard it more today than I have this decade probs!

I’ve only got the collector’s edition of the manuscript and that’s it this time round - I think the midnights clock and the 1989 colour covers broke me :lol: I love the collector’s edition tho it’s so cool!
I only have CDs for display purposes nowadays (or bonus tracks that aren’t gonna be on streaming for ages) so I think this is the era where I’m finally gonna stop overspending haha! I missed the signed CD drop - and tbh I’m not sure if I need another signed album atp esp when they feel less exclusive!
The only other version I’d buy is if the anthology gets a CD release! I’d snap that up immediately.
(Oh and I also bought on iTunes cos that’s a great price for 31 tracks, it’s my first purchase since love story Taylor’s version!)
