  4. Thanks all <3 Thanks! Yeah I feel like that's somewhere I definitely differ with most of the fanbase, I literally love all her lead singles so much!! Glad at least a couple of songs we agree on tho! Thanks! It really is!! Every time I think it can't get any better it somehow does <3 I love being predictable and against the grain :lol: <3 I'd love to see that! :heart: Thanks! Yasss I'm so glad to see another stan of those two lead singles, u literally summed up perfectly why both are so good and deserve more love!! Same, I'm shocked Enchanted got zero push at all, I didn't think she'd go as all out as she did with ATW but I thought we'd get something of a push. Thank you <3 And that'd be great to see!! It's such an impossible task but it can be done haha :lol: Thanks! Look at us being in sync with cardigan whew, a masterpiece *.* And we love to see an epiphany stan! I will continue to die on that hill :kink: Thanks! Aha that takes me back so much!! It feels insane that Shake It Off was one of the first big releases in general that I was on this forum for, damn that really feels like forever ago!! Such good times and memories back in the mid-2010s <3
  5. I think it was 2020 when I realised it was that and I was shook 😂
  6. (the way every chart-run got f***ed up in Speak Now TV week with all those songs entering high + a lot of other songs re-entering my charts for other personal reasons, that ended up being a one-off top 150, which is why some songs have one week between 101-150) 1. 8. Get those iTunes smashes Birdy and Queen Idina :cheeseblock: Was hoping, and kinda thought Reneé would make at least the top 20 on iTunes! :(
  9. It's been a long time since I've hosted a rate in the pop forum (and it's a while since I've participated in any rate in this forum too!), but why not! (And I'll probs do an Olivia Rodrigo one a bit after Guts is released too, so y'all got that to look forward to!). After seeing a post from Tom's widow Kelsey, over the past couple of weeks I transported back to my 10-year-old stanning days (even way before my Buzzjack days, where by that point I was completely over the band) and have been listening to the greatest hits non-stop. Its pretty much the first time I've heard most of the songs in 10+ years (bar my three/four faves) so I thought I'd host a rate for it, a lot of songs also hit differently since Tom's devastating passing. Re-listening to this collection reminded me that I forgot just how much I loved them for like 10 months! Hoping Rule The World does well here <3 And I'll probs do a plug.dj equivalent session sometime in the next week if there's interest!
  10. Welcome to The Wanted Greatest Hits Rate! To participate in this rate, all you need to do is follow these simple instructions... - You must rate all the 15 singles. If you don't your vote will be void. The acoustics are optional, but encouraged to rate them. - Rank each song in this list on a scale of 0 (worst) to 10 (best). - You can give out a score of 11 to your absolute favourite and -1 to your least favourite (this is optional and you don't HAVE to). - You may give out "xx.5" scores, but no 10.5 or 0.5 is allowed. If anyone is rating them this, then your rate will be NULL & VOID if you haven't edited by the time I close this rate. - The tentative deadline will be 27th August 2023; 23:59. (I may extend depending on how many votes/interest there seems to be, I may also try and do a plug.dj equivalent session depending on interest). - HAVE FUN (but please respect other peoples scores). - The songs included in this rate is the deluxe of the Greatest Hits compilation in 2021, so its basically an album rate (the 20-track version, we don't need two extra versions of Rule The World + an Xmas cover). I have also included one single that was left off the collection + their most streamed album track to take us up to a nice 22. I have posted the Spotify link below! (heads up, the link below doesn't have the two songs I added in for this rate) The songs: xx.x Rule The World xx.x Colours xx.x Glad You Came xx.x All Time Low xx.x Chasing The Sun xx.x Heart Vacancy xx.x Gold Forever xx.x Lose My Mind xx.x Lightning xx.x We Own The Night xx.x I Found You xx.x Walks Like Rihanna xx.x Warzone xx.x Show Me Love (America) xx.x Could This Be Love xx.x Remember (Acoustic) xx.x Glow In The Dark xx.x Heartbreak Story Spotify link:

    Glad to see Karma certified gold!! For some reason it was never certified silver, and I was pretty certain that it had to have gone silver by the time the remix was released & it was pushed as a single, so I'm glad my suspicious were confirmed that it had already passed silver now that its certified gold!
  12. #05-#01 05. Shake It Off (1989) - Yep, I don't care. I have never ONCE found this sound annoying and I hate how much the fanbase is not a fan of it haha. I have such fond memories of Shake It Off's release, from watching the 1989 announcement stream on Yahoo (woo that's a throwback) to the VMA's performance to being absolutely obsessed with every detail of the track from the song to the video. Taylor has always been one of my favourite artists but I'd say this was the moment I fully knew who my number #1 singer to stan was (tho tbf I think I already knew that by early 2013 x). This song is just so irresistibly catchy, and in my opinion is one of the best pop songs of all time. The production is absolutely immaculate, the amount of different layers (which I'm really hoping gets recaptured on Taylor's Version, its the song I'm most worried about ending up like WANEGBTTV) is insane, the saxophones (or whatever it is) are perfect, its got every element a great pop song needs. Also one of the most catchy songs of all times. The lyrics are so much fun, I adore the bridge, the video is one of my favourite Taylor videos (I think I watched it about 1000 times in 2014, the slightly extended outro is a slay and her cheerleader look is one of my all time faves *.*). I don't think there's a song that makes me smile more, and this goes off live SO well. It was epic seeing this in Rep tour, and the transition into this in her 2019 AMA medley was the highlight, its the perfect feel good song. I've been listening to this so much over the past few months and it really has that perfect charm (and also lowkey should be 4th here, but I'm not changing my rankings from March x) 4. Look What You Made Me Do (Reputation) - Another underrated GEM of a lead single and one of the best moments in pop history. I remember this release so well, from being in a hotel room (and freaking out) when she cleared her insta posts, to getting of a train and watching an insta video leading to me screaming in public when a snake jumped out (!), to watching the video at 6am at a train station on the way back from a festival after it premiered at the VMAs. This song was instant love for me, and I thought this was a great direction. The lyrics are so clever and I love how she reclaimed the snake, I especially love the drama/karma 2nd verse, whew a moment. The production is so catchy, from the Disney-ish fairytale opening chords to the electroclash elements. And once again its so catchy, definitely my bad bitch anthem haha. And ofc, the old Taylor lyric, whew you just had to be there, I was so SHOOK when I heard that. And of course, we have to talk about the video. Her best video ever and honestly, the best video of all time. The amount of looks, actually good Easter eggs, plot, twists that video served whew! Nils Sjoberg! The snakes! The grammy and crash! Her holding up the 'big machine'! The squad! The money! The Taylor tower!!!!! I still couldn't believe the latter, whew a moment in history. And damn this goes off live, if the studio version had the extra guitars like the live version this could be even higher here! What a masterpiece <3 3. Enchanted (Speak Now) - Everyone's favourite Speak Now track is also my favourite Speak Now track because enough of me being original in this top 3 x Enchanted really is just one of the most beautiful songs ever penned. The lyrics are utterly gorgeous, and have that Taylor power of being so relatable and capturing that person who has left a mark on you. The melody is beautiful as the song slowly builds, to that beautiful chorus. The 'please don't be in love with someone else' lyric stings so much and really brings the song together. And that final chorus whew, perfection. This song has been there for me in so many important times within my life, some I've talked about on here before and some I haven't, and is one of the first album tracks I ever fell in love with (as a child I was that person that would buy all my faves albums, but only download the singles onto my iPod :lol:). I'm listening to it now and it just has that magical quality that so few songs possess, and I'm so glad we have this beauty of a masterpiece <3 I wish we got a video and push with Speak Now Taylor's Version but oh well, its still a masterpiece! 2. All Too Well (Original + 10 Min Version) (Red) - And everyone's favourite song from Red, is once again my favourite song from Red x And yep, its so easy to see why this has become a career defining masterpiece. Lyrically, its one of the best songs of all time. The storytelling here is something else, and the scarf callback gets me every time, the layers of context whew. That chorus is otherworldly, both recapturing the memories whilst being heartbreaking. And yeah the bridge is her best bridge, the amount of emotion and power of those lyrics. This was instant love for me and it's been so great seeing this become the fan favourite and an eventual hit. I adore the 5 minute version and so many of my dearest memories of this song are with that version, but nowadays I barely ever listen to it. I remember being so excited for the 10 minute version, but in my head I was like I'll just enjoy it for a few listens and then return to the original version with a more normal runtime. But... here we are and the 10 min version is the ESSENTIAL for me, I still listen to it regularly and she somehow managed to make the song even better with the extra time. The bridge somehow is even better and even more heartbreaking than the original, I love all the new lyrics and the subtle changes in the chorus, and the outro is beautiful. I also adore the short film (Sadie slayed) and this has become such an essential song for me. And now I can have 10 mins of crying instead of 5! There's a reason this is a career defining masterpiece, one of the most beautiful songs of all time <3 1. cardigan (folklore) - I always struggled between choosing what my favourite Tay song was between the songs I discussed from #2-#6. Thankfully, I no longer have to struggle, because during the last couple years, for the first time ever I finally have a song which is my clear and easy favourite song from her discography. The first time I heard cardigan, it was instant love. It was my initial fave from folklore with epiphany, and also hit so hard during covid times. And over the past few years, I just haven't stopped returning to it at all, and it somehow manages to get better every single time I listen to it. The last two minutes of this song are the best two minutes of her career, the way I transcend every single time I hear that part of the song. The lyrics are absolutely perfect and have so many layers to them, from the folklore love triangle, to that feeling of knowing more than you think you know and the detailed memories (the Wendy lyric & the shadows/grocery line are up there with her best ever, and paint such a clear picture of this story), to the subtle references to her eras during the first verse, to so many other interpretations. Taylor's lyrics work best when they paint such a clear picture and details such specific memories (see All Too Well, and Last Kiss which I have no idea why I ranked so low here and with Taylor's Version would be about 90 places higher than it is oops), and Taylor does this perfectly on cardigan. The you'd come back without the to me is heartbreaking, and its little moments like that that make this the best song in her discography. The melody and production is also pitch perfect, the intro, the subtle changes in sounds, the soothing and calming moments, the little switch-ups as we get towards those final two minutes. The production gives the song such a timeless quality. The video is beautiful too. I listened to this so much during that rough 2020, and so much every year since, and I'm glad its become such a big streaming hit now that it deserved to be on initial release, cos it is such a masterpiece. Taylor has so many elements as to why she's my favourite singer ever, and cardigan is the song which captures every factor as to why she's my favourite singer. A timeless classic and a beautiful beautiful masterpiece. <3 so yep, I put this ranking on here and said cardigan was my favorite :heart: Thanks to everyone who has followed this over the past few months, sorry this has taken so long as always with anything I run, but I've actually finished it now!! :heart:
  13. Glad to see you stanning so much of them! <3 Yep those are all classics for a reason <3, and love seeing you stan the album tracks <3 Both those songs deserve so much appreciation so I'm glad you're still stanning even if they wouldn't be that high for you! Yeah I remember back in the day Rep came out, there were a couple Swifties here that felt the same but they've now left the site :lol: We'll find out now! x (but those are both very good guesses!) Thanks <3 <3
  14. 2015: G.R.L - Lighthouse Rachel Platten - Fight Song Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar - Bad Blood Someone else nominate: Charli XCX ft. Rita Ora - Doing It Muse - Psycho Selena Gomez ft. ASAP Rocky - Good For You (wish I had space for this but don't want to use 4 on a year yet!) 2016: Anne-Marie - Alarm Hailee Steinfeld - Starving Lady Gaga - Million Reasons Someone else nominate: Ace Wilder - Don't Worry (my fave song of 2016 but this will probs flop) Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman Meghan Trainor - No Olly Murs - You Don't Know Love
  15. Reneé Rapp’s debut album, following on from last year’s EP Everything to Everyone, is out today! Listening now and I’m so hyped, Snow Angel is one of the best songs of the year and Talk Too Much is a major bop! (And I’m still spinning Too Well all the time :wub:) It definitely feels like she’s starting to build some hype between the music + acting, hopefully something from this album will breakout!
  16. #10-#06 10. Don't Blame Me (reputation) - The way I stanned this and always said this would have been a smash way before its TikTok success, sometimes its nice to be vindicated! An instant highlight from the second I listened to Rep, that production is godly, it combines the heavier rep production elements with the smooth pop melody perfectly, that bridge whew, Taylor's vocals are insane on this. 9. epiphany (folklore) - EASILY the most underrated Taylor track. This song literally got me through lockdown. The production and Taylor's vocals are both so calmingly beautiful and this song has always given me the vibes of a chiller Mariners Apartment Complex + Frozen. The lyrics hit home so much when it was released and ugh I love this song, I NEED a live performance. This one deserves so much more love. 8. Delicate (Reputation) - Another timeless track from reputation. Unlike Don't Blame Me, this one wasn't as instant for me, and even tho I really liked it from first listen, it was around mid-table in my Rep rankings. However it grew on me so quickly, and by the time it became a single I was OBSESSED. And then obsessed forever when it was a single (I think it spent like 6 months in my personal chart top 10 iirc!). I adore the video, its so underrated and entertaining (and I've also been to the hotel it was filmed at!). The lyrics are fab, I love how the final chorus does the treacherous-switch-up and the lyrics are beautiful. Production great, vocals great, a smash in my heart and chart. Also the SEEB remix is BY FAR the best remix she's ever had released (Wildest Dreams R3hab is the only challenger), that soundtracked my 2018 summer so much. 7. Safe & Sound (ft. Joy Williams & John Paul White or The Civil Wars) (The Hunger Games/Red) - The challenger to epiphany for her most underrated song, tho at least this one has some fans and one live performance. I think this might be Taylor's most beautiful song? It's also definitely her most calming, and is my go-to song if I need to chill out. The lyrics and melody are just ethereal, so so peaceful and I love the lullaby-feel to this song. The harmonies in this track are incredible. The Hunger Games + Taylor was probably my dream combo at 11 so unsurprisingly I was obsessed with this at the time, then became re-obsessed when it was one of like 3 songs of hers on streaming during the 2014-2017 period, then realised it was one of my favourites of hers ever during COVID, and that being re-iterated with Taylor's version, which I'm so glad (and still kinda shook) we got and somehow manages to keep everything perfect about the original! 6. Mine (Speak Now) - And what used to be my fave Taylor song has now slipped out of my top 5! :o I think part of it is due to how much this resonated with me when I was 13, and as much as I still absolutely love this song I just don't listen to it too regularly anymore (same with the majority of Speak Now, which was my fave Tay album but nowadays its just top 5 which feels weird). Anyway, Mine still remains an underrated gem and a masterpiece, and the production progression throughout the song is so so good. That bridge is still iconic, and ugh I love this song as I've spoken about many times on this site before and many times more eloquently than this! Top 5 later! And these 4 albums all have one track to go to make up 4 of the top 5! (counting S&S as a Red track now x). 3 lead singles vs. the big 2 album tracks.
  17. We love to see it <3 <3 Gotta disagree about the og version tho I adore that one too!!! (but it was probs around 20-25 before the TV version so its def improved!) Thanks <3 <3

    @1692222716802183242 Finally :cheeseblock: She’s back ❤️
  19. I wonder if anything’s gonna happen in the rest of this month, feels like so many things could potentially happen (or will def happen in 2023) (but low-key doubt any of them will): - still no post celebrating the LA shows?! Could be saving it for an announcement with something - Cruel Summer video (hopefully) - cruel summer remix (hopefully not) - The delulu Lover deluxe theories for the 4th anniversary (I need Need tho) - 1989 song (tho if we get a pre-release I think it would be at the VMAs next month) - tour box scores released - You’re Losing Me release (think this might be more likely for Midnights’ anniversary) - something to happen at her Mexico dates next week? (Which are her final tour dates until November) Also I just remembered Bad Blood (hey stop, she wasn’t doing anything) remix and I forgot how iconic that was :cheeseblock:
  20. #20-#11 20. Anti-Hero (Midnights) - It's me hi... I am back again. Another slay of a lead single and this is really just pure pop perfection, still haven't tired of it one bit. 19. Out Of The Woods (1989) - One of her best bridges ever, the way I scream it every time I hear this song. Perfect production, perfect vocals, one of her best and most underrated videos (the imagery is STUNNING), the live version slaps, a masterpiece. 18. Lover (Lover) - What a stunning masterpiece, some of my favourite Taylor lyrics and this gets the perfect blend of writing about a perfect love, without getting too sickly. The bridge is fab, I love the melody of the song, another great video. 17. State Of Grace (Red) - Her most effective album opener! Takes you into Red so perfectly and I NEED an album in this style, the production melody is perfect and ugh the storytelling here... perfection. 16. Cruel Summer (Lover) - I love that when I started this countdown, this was just an absolute album track gem that was slept on. And look where we are now!!! I cannot believe this is a smash hit single now but its so so deserved!! That bridge is magic, the whole song is just pure bliss, perfect for all seasons (esp summer ofc), and this is one of her most perfectly crafted pop songs. Its my most played song of 2023, and I think this would probably be top 10 for me now if I was to redo this! Anyway that's Lover out x 15. Karma (Midnights) - And that's also Midnights out! And this is another song that wasn't a single when I started this!! Such a perfect carefree BOP and ANTHEM, I love the bridge and that chorus + production is irresistible, a sing-a-long anthem that was my most played song of last year and is only 2nd to the song above it this year. Anyway that's Midnights out x 14. Wildest Dreams (1989) - I still adore it but this has fallen out of my top 10 now. I obviously love how Lana-ish it is, the video is iconic, her vocals are gorgeous and the lyrics are beautiful. Always a masterpiece. (If only the video version edit of the song was available on streaming, cos the way the last chorus explodes whew, would probs be enough to return it to the top 10) 13. New Romantics (1989) - Yep just another perfect pop perfection. I cannot believe this was only a bonus track!!!! The production is incredible, the ah-ah-ah-ah explosion into that pure magic chorus, the verses are so catchy, my absolute go to pure pop anthem to put me into a good mood and have a celebration. 12. Red (Red) - Along with CS, I think this is the other song in this section that is challenging my top 10. Its always been a massive favourite of mine, but I cannot stop listening to Taylor's Version of this!!! Ugh she kept the original magic and idk what she put it in, but somehow its even better, the best re-recorded song so far. The lyrics are fab and yeah this is perfection once again. 11. champagne problems (evermore) - My go to song to sob at. Some of her best lyrics of all time, and probably a top 5 bridge?! The way her storytelling here with the soft vocals just destroys me every single time. Whew, a masterpiece. the best song on evermore <3 Top 10 later today FINALLY! Predict away! 4 lead singles. 1 soundtrack. 2 viral album tracks. 1 non viral album track. 1 post-album single. 1 that combines two versions.
  21. 3xGvCApIEQY The way I can’t stop listening to this atm :cheeseblock: one of her best live performances <3
