Anyway I've had the album on repeat the entire day (unsurprisingly) and I'm fully in love now :cheeseblock: Some ramblings after more listens: Karma/Snow On The Beach/Anti-Hero/Vigilante Shit are all 11/10 moments <3 <3 (with Would've Should've Could've & You're On Your Own, Kid right behind). Bejeweled has been the biggest grower, I can't stop going back to it (it feels like a more refined version of gorgeous). The Great War & Bigger Than The Whole Sky are my other faves of the extra 7 tracks. Nothing I dislike, though Glitch is the most forgettable out of all 20 for me. Midnight Rain/Labyrinth kinda work really well back-to-back and serve me Hard Feelings/Loveless teas.

Sweet nothing (piano version) sounds basically identical to the original and is pointless, and you’re on your own kid (strings version) is slightly less pointless but still doesn’t feel too differential from the original to ever go back to that version

Hits different is the only new one on the target edition! (The others are sweet nothing - piano version, and you’re on your own kid - strings version)

I gave this a spin before midnights came out and it’s another fab album from Meghan *.* I really hope made you look can take off on TikTok as I want her to have another hit so bad, and I love shook too!

Hits different is a BOP. It’s kinda giving me poppier Fearless vibes. This should’ve def made the album aha, I wonder how long it’ll take for it to be uploaded to streaming (the folkmore bonus tracks were both about 3 weeks later). But the folkmore were bonus tracks on all physical editions whereas HD is a target bonus track so maybe it’ll be more like 1989 (when they hit streaming around the end of the year iirc)

The video is really good, I think the first verse/chorus are my fave parts! The skit is enjoyable and the reference killed me. Kinda wish the skit was at the end though, even though it obviously makes sense to happen when it does in the video

Already so obsessed and in love with anti-hero, snow on the beach (that chorus is stuck in my head!), karma & vigilante shit (yep this is already over to the faves category, I love the Rep vibes and it feels like it could be a Rep vault track!). Like basically everyone else, would’ve could’ve should’ve is my fave of the 3am tracks. Also the Apple Music start is insane! I feel like folkmore didn’t hit those highs till like early evening on 1st day iirc
