The Smiths Singles Box Set
The Smiths were on Geoff Travis's Rough Trade Records in the UK (however fyi they were signed to Seymour Stein's Sire Records in the USA - part of Warners...so think its very justified that Warners own the Smiths back cat)

Help! I need somebody
OTOH you could buy Uncut/Mojo/Relix/The Word/les inrocks - gives you a CD and something to read on the bus/train - Paste was good for new acts but Paste is going digital from an issues time and having no more CDs - so i guess that will no doubt have a block on it for non North American servers so you wont get those tracks

King of leon album special edition re-issue
well i suppose that maybe alright as I didnt see any first day limited editions of that album in the shop - so unlike bloc party and goldfrapp it wont be more like a speedy re-issue of the original LE/deluxe edition - which is even worse esp seeing that those albums came out on supposed indie labels (tho Mute is obv owned by EMI)

Romantic movies that don't suck
some times you cant beat a cheesy romcom tho

Cinema Chain to have over-18's only showings!
 and its a pity that across town in Wood Lane - the new cinema there at westfield is gonna be a showcase...would have been a good place catch a few films in between the shopping (and i see there's a vue round the corner - but we'll forget where that is - please adapt bush and arse joke here - and think of the positives of a new shiny shopping centre)

King of leon album special edition re-issue
Looking at the pre-release charts in music week - i see that it looks like the KOL album has already got a special edition re-issue listed..already even goldfrapp and bloc party waited some months before re-issuing their albums....(tho in those cases it was annoyingly a re-issue and extended version of the limited editions)

SCAR 3D
where was that as couldn't find that thread... yeah think your right there is a whole other anylictical approach to those kinds of Italian Horror films which may or may not bring in religion and politics of the time (see also policital themes from The Best Of Youth) as well as just general exploation...for example the Italian of something like "Strip Nude For Your Killer" may turn out to be something like 'Hello Vicar here's some nice crumpet for your tea' but as it goes throu distrib get more and more outlandish titles...

Burn After Reading
no i really liked that film from the first time i saw it - tho have watched it again on dvd since then (1st week purchase as well!!!)

Zack And Miri Make A Porno / Choke / My Best Friend's Girl
so out of Zack And Miri Make A Porno - Choke - My Best Friend's Girl ehich one did you think was the funniest...yes thats wrong it was the one with Jason Biggs and Dane Cook ffs!!! one that looked from the trailer like it was gonna be even worse than Good Look Chuck and hereld a return to the American Pie franchise for Biggs or at least Wedding Daze 2!!! - but actually it was more enjoyable than the other two which disappointed...than again maybe My Best Friend's Girl i found better as i wasnt expecting anything from it?!?!? - but yeah even tho not like the best comedy ever actually made me laugh in places (yes thats right dane cook made me chuckle!!!)

Glam Chops - 'Countdown To Christmas'
 quality!!!!

The Smiths Singles Box Set
on the other hand i think Rough Trade's Geoff Travis other label Blanco y Negro Records was always funded by warners in the first place...a bit like Creation/Elevation....

Faith Hope & Charity
whhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyy??? its one of the worst things i've recently heard.... tho i think it may be calling out for a robots in disgiuse/css cover.... and as for 2wo Third3 i think we've got the follow up to the Killers' Christmas single here....now 2wo third3 - are they human or are they.... ug8fgo_6dGg 2wo Third3 - Hear Me Calling

Now That's What I Call Music 83
i think there's something to be said about this strange hood thing in regards to the previous quotes of Nik Kershaw's appearence as glitter's mini-me but i dont know if you turned the hood around so you couldnt see his face would be a pos or neg thing - could give like more sinister thoughts in some peoples minds.....tho i suppose both him and jones could perform with bags over their heads next time...with cut out head shots of Chesney Hawks and his sister from transister cellotaped on top.... btw is Tony Hadley turning into a kd lang tribute...

LMAO, Santogold is now called "Santigold".
and i suppose if she thought he was just an old wrestler who wasnt in the music industry it wouldnt matter that both was called santogold (and the fact that All Saints/Oasis are both clothes stores might be an intersting thought at this point - as well as the point that All Saints was All Saints 1.9.7.5. and that there has been two hit acts called Oasis) also according to imdb Rigatuso the infomercial guy also goes under the name Bob Harris...so i guess that gives an extra flavour to suntory time http://orgconfuz.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/lost_in_translation_xl_02.jpg and i wonder if say a-ha passes the on the old grey whistle test.... (or should that be say aha...wouldnt want a trio of moody norweigns suing her as well  )

I'm A Celebrity line-up revealed
but thats the idea innit - Mallett will annoy everyone and obv people have been doing their reality tv research on van day and remember David Van Day vs Bucks Fizz in Trouble at the Top or David Van Day vs Sonia in Reborn in the USA - so it was a good thing that they have come in late - as they think thsat tension will rise with these two... tho talking about puuting other kids tv people in think bodger and badger would be good in the jungle...well would be happy with the mashed pots...

Papa Roach

The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles Mistakes List
Don't know if this already has been started of not - so if it has merge it please.... The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles Mistakes List Mistake #1 & #2: FAITH HOPE AND CHARITY/ARIEL according to The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles it look slike Dani Behr had a hit single when she was about 2 ...(that is if she's about 34 now - as reported in some newspapers)....in an American group masterminded by Hustle & Shuffle man Van McCoy!!! so according to the The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles she's up there in the youngest people to hit the charts with Microbe and Donna from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps....!!!!! and if they can't tell the difference between a 1976 disco group and a useless proto-Those 2 Girls/Milan girlband featuring Dani Behr and someone out of Bodger & Badger...then its just a good job that theyve got on page 333 a feature about Nirvana and grunge as they would have messed that hitography up as well.... VEqY-5V55PE Faith Hope & Charity "Battle of the sexes" http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/content/images/2007/09/18/bodgerandbadger_1_396x222.jpg and the girl who played Vicky from Bodger & Badger who wasnt Dani Behr in Faith Hope & Charity was also supposed to be to be in a band called Ariel with Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers whose hitography in the Virgin Book is also messed up and continues post-Dust/Chem brothers being combined with another act - argentinan producer/dj ariel belloso

Xpansions 95 - Move your body
Ministry Of Sound Anthems: 1991-2009: Volume 2: 3cd came out and loads of stores playing it...yeah from what i'vre heard of it sounds like a good album.....here's disc 1 out of the 3 for example.... 1. Blue Monday - New Order 2. Chime - Orbital 3. Theme From S'Express - S'Express 4. Groove Is In The Heart - Deee-Lite 5. Move Your Body - Xpansions 6. Playing With Knives - Bizarre Inc. 7. Everybody's Free - Rozalla 8. Your Loving Arms - Billie Ray Martin 9. Rhythm Is A Dancer - Snap 10. U R The Best Thing - D:REAM 11. Deeper Love - Clivilles & Cole 12. Voodoo Ray - Guy Called Gerald (A) 13. Infinity - Guru Josh 14. Papua New Guinea - Future Sound Of London (The) 15. Open Up - Leftfield & John Lydon 16. Anthem - N Joi 17. Get Up (Everybody) [Parade mix] - Byron Stingily 18. Lover That You Are - Pulse & Antoinette Roberson 19. America (I Love America) - Full Intention 20. To Be In Love [MAW '99 mix] - Masters At Work & India and in keeping with the Bodger & Badger theme of a previous post - i've decided to upload Xpansions 95 and their video for Move your body - as the girl who played Vicky from Bodger & Badger (Sally Ann Marsh who obv wasnt Dani Behr in Faith Hope & Charity) was supposed to be their lead singer (and was also supposed to be in a band called Ariel with Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers whose hitography in the Virgin Book is also messed up and continues post-Dust/Chem brothers being combined with another act - argentinan producer/dj ariel belloso) BU4_04Wr1Cg Xpansions 95 - Move your body but yeah the first few track you cant beat - tho dips with Billie Ray Martin now as there are now better records of hers aound on youtube thats i've heard and actually eclipse that track...and actually the D:REAM record is not that awful in keeping with what you would expect from things can only get better....

Faith Hope & Charity
9hJDN_jF2t0 Further to the Virgin Book/Bodger and Badger mistake mentioned else where on this site - when you think about it Van McCoy has been involved in some great tunes that are not The Hustle or the shuffle - some as well being big Northern Soul tunes as well not only masterminding Faith Hope & Charity but involved with producing Aretha Franklin, the stylistics, Melba Moore and David Ruffin as well... however i guess most people will think The Hustle is annoying - but not as much as popcorn...i guess

Faith Hope & Charity
Well have you been spotting the mistakes in the The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles...and seeing that I'm A Celeb's on at the moment... has anyone noticed that Dani Behr had a hit single when she was about 2 according to The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles...(that is if she's about 34 now - as reported in some newspapers) in an American group masterminded by Hustle & Shuffle man Van McCoy!!! so according to the The Virgin Book of British Hit Singles she's up there in the youngest people to hit the charts with Microbe and Donna from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps....!!!!! and if they can't tell the difference between a 1976 disco group and a useless proto-Those 2 Girls/Milan girlband featuring Dani Behr and someone out of Bodger & Badger...then its just a good job that theyve got on page 333 a feature about Nirvana and grunge as they would have messed that hitsography up as well.... Now That's What I Call Music 83
however do Kajagoogoo know they are not living in 1998 - at the moment they are looking like a post-firestarter cyberpunk savage garden....possibly worse than they did in 1983 i saw bits of that show - it was too dreadful to try and watch it all :puke2: (the repeat of the kings of glam rock doc on bbc 2 later that night was much much bette :cheer: ) - but yeah thought it was the son of Gary Glitter for a moment.. tho not as scary as the fat guy behind howard jones (btw what is a snood)

Glam Chops - 'Countdown To Christmas'
the original in the franchise or another one...???

Best Of 1994
Think youre getting mixed up with that cashin cover - Black Duck's Whiggle In Line.... No Whigfield was great europop - tho Think Of You was her best record - still sounds brilliant today (we will pass on her Mumgo Jerry, ahem, cover   ) esp if played back to back with Ann Lee, Duece or Outhere Brothers... however talking of PWL (I think tho i'm not sure if it is - tho its on the dvd with other 80s tracks by Divine, SAW's Roadblock and West End/Sybil) just found Sabrina on an 80s DVDs singing All Of Me in a heavily Italian accent and thinking that not only was that good Hi-NRG europop (tho obv a bit dated - her hair makes her look like Jane McDonald's sister rather than say like a sexier Imbruglia sister) and maybe it was a pity that Sabrina didnt make loads and loads of other UK hits singles as she may have been preferble to the continuing existance of Dannii Minogue (who looking at her photos in the paper yesterday seems to have scarlier become more and more facially redesigned to looking more and more like Kylie as she went on - she didnt really look much like dannii does now when she was supposed to be a punk in home and away - well from the picture she doesnt look that punk - tho this might be what punks in 1980s australia look like) oh....that Nirvana   ...though I think you'll probs love the original Nirvana being all 60s (and I'll think i'll have a bet on Ben and Jerry doing a Kurt Cobain flavor to go with their Cherry Garcia one day....as thats the kind of big busines that would co-op another big business like the estate of Cobain - tho a flvour with the tru taste of Pearl Jam might be more in keeping with the relix jamband massives....)
