yeah but all of you think the topic thats being discussed (aqua) in the first place is $h!te - so your like so totally prejudiced in the first place
  2. will have to find my 100 60s hits for that - not noticed that part - tho in all probability it could be the real jackie chan when he was younger as he had some big cantopop hits - tho isnt SIMON DUPREE AND THE BIG SOUND from somewhere like portsmouth or plymouth and so i dont think jackie chan would have been hanging around then - not quite the peking opera school innit... tho at this point also remembering that ash - kung fu - is another great track!!!
  3. actually was watching my best of bowie dvd today - as the new bloc party single made me want to play Time will crawl - then i played Jump they say, miracle goodnight, hearts filthy lesson, hallo spaceboy, i'm afraid of americans and then little wonder.... little wonder is bizarre - theres a great song trying to get out but even tho i suppose you could say its so try hard to be 90s relevant - there's something so ricky gervais does babylon zoo about both the song and video (didnt play dvd1 today)

maybe the second one? wouldnt say its a film that you need great intelligence to try and work out a greater meaning to it...just a film to sit back and enjoy

really? i read in the paper it was gonna be 12...so 8 more to come...which kinda makes you think how they are gonna keep coming up with stuff....tho on the other hand there will be enough films to run every night for two weeks (sabbath skeds excepted)
  6. no both dreadful - first track alright - more like older bef human league...and was good whn richard x used the first time around with kelis and the sos band (ooh jam and lewis link there)!!!

and now im annoyed... as i dont see this criticsm being put towards people in like best of 1984 thread...but then again maybe you are being very hypocritical - if its music you like its alright to post threads will many videos in it...but if its music you dont like (and also because i am an easy target) you pull me up on the fact.... if each thread is only to have one youtube video in it for reference it has to go for everyone - you included... i will agree to that...if not you have no reason to complain..and esp when there is an argument in that thread - not just random endless top tens....and lists about the 1980s (or is that all people can handle in here...?)

think one of the best music videos i've seen...and even tho its a video where nothing much happens and where its one 'static' photo with a load of graphics over the top - however its always unnerving and always sends a shiver up the spine...and the first time i saw it i had to replay it to see what how it was at the beginning Y7T49_LPt-8 Benny Benassi - Satisfaction (the Original Video not the UK one with all the woobly boobies, powertools and legs)

didnt know if they should go in the $h!t acts with brilliant record...or not - not gonna give opinion till the £3 shelf has provided me with the cd  but omg what a brilliant record ...gonna play it again and then gonna play the bucketheads and then this record again!!! qiMv9Or43eA i dont know to make of this - apart from i'm nearly falling off my chair laughing!!! http://www.southportforums.com/forums/pics7/ots/x654.jpg well i suppose they always said that there were more chuckle siblings...actually it looks like the original is in the chart this week as its got a BMG label listing...thats quite funny if people have been downloading the origonal by mistake and have got some mad bloke shouting 1990's time for guru all the way through it....tho my brother upstair will think its an utter utter utter classix and tbh would be a good record is it was just the sax hook and perhaps dont by 808 state... ...this on the other hand is like bad shamen meets bad jesus jones meets god what is he wearing (clip show talk about vh1 bloke, spray on booty man) paul king qs438OaT5m0 Guru Josh - Whose Law (Is It Anyway?) ZUhyFfuHGUg 808 State -808 State - Pacific State 3-o15Xmaz2A the shamen- move any mountain DA3E2X3kQNQ the German shamen fanclub going Faster Harder Scooter 2s_UjdsMoPk Zeroes And Ones - Jesus Jones

Jake! That's just an untrue insult and DAMMING allegation.... towards U2!!! They're not as good as that - they're like the nü Big Country for the ketamine generation :( (sorry to any fans of Big Country if they are actually better than that old ep of the tube on more4 the other month made them out to be - and not wanting to speak ill of the dead even if that dude is one of the manic street preacher's guitar hero!!!) http://www.delawareonline.com/blogs/uploaded_images/BC~Band~1~Hp~Logo~2-779774.jpg ..then again maybe we should mention glasvegas at this point
  16. yeah just getting into ac/dc - got a couple of their re-issues from the £3 selection...and at this moment more intersted in that (even tho the concept verging on the rock-krankies  ) than anything to do with kaisers...they jumped the shark for me
  17. yeah spot on! 'johnny cash meeting the pet shop boys' is not my comparison tho there may be a slight truth in the 'rammstein meets nin' comparison seeing as the GA song does sound more like an mid 90s industrial epic when its played next to human (and anyway the riff for Sexy! No No No is from an old hard rock song by nazareth) ...Girls Aloud much much better and will still sound much better after a 100 plays....

well horror is the genre that most people wanna talk about..thats why there loads of descussion = its like pop = girl groups-singers and retro = 1980s
  19. and it was directed by Walter Salles too of motorcycle diaries and central station...so maybe we shouldnt be looking at this thread about remakes of horror films by american studio but widen it to the problem of not keeping to your own culture....and bring in Oliver Hirschbiegel of downfall fame and the invasion infamy, as well as Mathieu Kassovitz of la haine fame and that double bill of Babylon A.D. / Gothika etc etc

Did anyone happen to see the Rocker when it was briefly out at the cinema?

but then again now you bring into Joy Division, The libertines and Bloc Party - and remembering that Punk goes with Metal and the rest goes in indie and alternative...you start think not only in terms of musical style but also ideology, time frames and obv fashion...and would those lesser punk acts that dont comform to the ideal look of punk - still be punk (apart from a big iconic act like The Clash who will be always be consered punk rock even tho they may be considered something as much more than just punk perhaps) http://www.rockinbeerfest.co.uk/communities/2/004/004/698/552/images/4507598302.jpg btw did anyone else see the rocker - this is like a.d.d in 25 years
  23. Kon Kan I beg your pardon has come on one of the random 100 hits cd selections...and actually tbh it would make a better new killers record than the new killers record...which is very poor CAw-YYKkqWE Kon Kan - I Beg Your Pardon Zvvz7jCpWmU Kon Kan - Arts in D Minor (Harry Houdini) on the evidence of this it seems that before Win Butler, Canada must have been like a bizarre parellel universe where go west were not awful blue-eyed tracks of my tears murdering norah jones forgetting Tony Hadley supporting soulsters* but sounded like new order instead (might have to contact my cousins in Toronto to confirm  ) 08GG93WSN1c Kon Kan - Liberty (this on the other hand is like bad dave cicero) os5pbhgmH8I Dave Cicero LyKo70_1eOM PET SHOP BOYS - NEW YORK CITY BOYS ( THUNDERPUSS 2000 MIX) PCSUakkAAno Britney Spears - Sometimes (Thunderpuss Remix) One half of Thunderpuss 2000 actually being the same bloke from Kon Kan with the silly hat from above and the bloke from below ....making you thankful that darren hayes exists  and is so pop!ular Y5m61QJdTQs Kon Kan "Sinful Wishes" however as the new killer's record is so pointless with traces of an alt.rock cutlure so non-existance i hope that it may be given to Barry Harris for the once over...yeah it needs something to be done with it... n6r4KT8-VX0 This a very poor record by the The Killers called Human *i see the captions on totp2 on dave been re-editied again just if anyone is interested in the new go west album
  24. yeah agreed!!! and even tho i rushed out to get their last release in the SE format - sorry to say that as far as the new Kaiser Chiefs album goes - would rather buy the ac/dc newbie... ...or the best of rocket from the crypt! on a rope!!! on a rope!!!!
  25. if this killers record is supposed to sound like 'johnny cash meeting the pet shop boys' then in comparison that girls aloud record could be regarded as sounding like 'Rammstein meeting NIN'
