  1. I would recommend the Editors album to anyone who likes this track.

but this is like sooo old, why bother to squeeze a little bit more out of the album which most people got ages ago and is no doubt in the sales this week? most people are bored of album projects after two singles these days.

  2. European Metal/Hard Rock bands tend to be vastly superior to UK or US ones, particularly our Scandinavian friends who never fail to impress me...

Like John though, I'm not too keen on the way the article centres on Duf Leotard though... <_<

well i suppose someone has to like them (americans), and i suppose all points had to be covered.

  3. James Morrison?? Are you having laugh.....?

Yeah will he have to change his name in Australia like The Racontuers, so he doesnt get confused with James Morrison the Australian jazz musician who best known for his trumpet playing. (He is a true multi-instrumentalist, capable of performing just as well on the trombone, euphonium, flugelhorn, tuba, saxophones, and piano which i doubt this James Morrison is capable of).

then again maybe its the same James Morrison who's the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. probs not hey!!!

    anyway i blame the government!!!

    Plot Summary for

From Justin to Kelly (2003) - imdb

Spring break in Miami is the scene. It's where surf-drenched guys cruise girls in bikinis and raucous parties rule day and night. It's the perfect time and place for three young women from Texas and a trio of college guys from Pennsylvania to find adventure and maybe even fall in love. In a Texas dive bar, Kelly is singing her heart out to a few local yokels when her best friends Kaya and Alexa try and tempt her away for some fun in the Florida sun. It's an easy sell--even for the cautious Kelly - and the three head for Miami. Making their way to the same destination is the "Pennsylvania Posse": college students Justin, Brandon, and Eddie. Justin and Brandon are smooth-talking party promoters, while Eddie's primed to meet Lizzie, the cyber dream girl he's been e-mailing for months. Miami Beach, beating with a rhythm all its own, is teeming with beautiful people. Kelly's friends are drawn into the beachside fun, while Kelly tentatively navigates a sea of strangers. When her eyes meet Justin's, everything changes--in an instant. While Kaya and Alexa are content to survey the parade of eye candy, Kelly's now only interested in the guy with the irresistible smile. The feeling is mutual, and Justin's on fire. But as luck would have it, he loses Kelly's number--and boy-crazy Alexa has already set her sights on Justin. She will stop at nothing--even betraying a friend--to nab Justin as her own. Will true love win out for the star-crossed Justin and Kelly?

  6. I can see where your coming from as physical CD's do look a lot better on display as you get all the artwork etc, but I just can't be bothereed to buy a physical release of a single anymore unless its a band that I really really like and there would probably only be three bands that i'd buy physical CD singles of.

think the only cd single that i've bought in 3 years (apart from the 3 for 2 offers) is the nelly furtado one the other week and that was only as it was 99p and i needed 50p more to get my £5 off

    i buy dvds and 7inches

the Serena-maneesh album has been getting good reviews today in the paper 4/5 from both the guardian and independent. and pushing all the cool band buttons as the reviews compare them to Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and mary chain. probably the coolest influences from bands from the 60s to the 90s that any band could have in the eyes of the rock press.

think they are one to have a look at.

  11. Ooh I think I've seen his new video on The Box. He looks like the sort of person who could be big.

Richard Park will love him on magic!!!

  12. Vic and Bob?

err... I'd ignore that if I were you - as Rob says, Spike Milligan patented that madcap style decades before them.

I'm laughing as I write this... yes, Vic and Bob were funny enough at times... but life changing comedy? Oh my....

the show was about how every wave of comedy was a reaction to the past for example the alternative comedy people being a reaction to those workingmans / wheelbarrow and foottappers club (something like that) comedians.

however vic and bob were the first of the post-modern generation of comedians and all types of comedy influences are cool now whether it be working men's style from the 1970s blended by surrealism of monty python and the goons and the stuff of the alt com folk.
