I think its a great song, definitely an improvement over some of their past releases, and also better than the song "where will you go" that was supposed to be the lead single off their never released third album. Not sure if this will be a single or just a 'buzz' track but either way it sounds promising and I never thought I would ever hear new material from them ever again so i'm pretty happy about this.

so I guess P!nk had to cancel her Birmingham gig the other night due to a chest infection/ear infection...and apparently that caused some so called 'fans' to send her hate-mail  which in turn caused her to write this on her facebook page...
"To all of the fans/friends/people/ticket buyers from the Birmingham show that I had to cancel: and I say "had" because I had absolutely no choice in the matter, no control over the circumstances, and physically could not get my sick ass on stage, because of an ear infection and chest infection all at the same time, and even a doctor told me I could not go on stage wether I wanted to or not: To all of you:
I sincerely apologize, AGAIN, for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Sincerely. I actually rode by the venue, and saw some of you in line, and there was not a f***ing thing I could do about any of it. Except cry. My heart was absolutely broken.
I am getting a lot of hate mail from some of you, not all. But to those of you that expect and feel entitled to perfection; Have a look at my track record- please- in general- for tours past. I have an incredible record. I do not cancel and I do not take it for granted how much trouble people go to- from spending hard earned money they don't have, to travel expenses and time and planning, etc. I take NOnE of it for granted, EVER. That's why I never phone it in. I go on stage and pour my f***ing heart and body out on that stage. I ruin my body and my vocal chords, make myself sicker, come hell or high water. I don't lip sync, I don't rely on dancers to do my work for me. I try to put the best show on that I can, that any human being can, and I don't stop until I know you're happy.
I am a human being, therefore I am able to catch illness. It is beyond my control- and I can't apologize for that. And you know what I've been performing through the last week? ROTA virus. Look it up. I challenge any one of you to do what I do while sick with that. You couldn't do it.
The fact that I don't get the benefit of the doubt from you saddens me. There is no way I can make up this date. There isn't a way. And for any of you that believe in me, please know we did everything we could to try to make it happen. Everything. It's a logistical nightmare that is again, out of my control.
And guess what? I might actually get sick again on this tour. Can you imagine it? How dare I even think that? I have a two year old who is building her immune system by getting sick all over the place. And the fact that I even went on tour while being a full time mom is a miracle in itself.
The next time I schedule dates- ill have to say to myself- "if, God forbid I have to cancel one show, those fans will turn on me like rabid dogs and question the moral fabric of my character."
For the loyal and understanding fans- I am so so sorry if I've hurt you in any way. For the rest of you- Kindly kiss my entire almost back to healthy ass.
Love always, Alecia the human also known as p!nk"
It also caused Kelly Clarkson to come to her defense as well....
"@pink how dare you only work 364 days this year. I can't believe you got sick. That never happens to anyone ....ever. You're so lazy #nameonepersonthathasherschedule, singswhileflying, andisamom ....seriously people. Tired of seeing everyone giving her crap. We're all human. Relax."
Honestly P!nk shouldn't have to explain herself, but reading what she wrote breaks my heart and infuriates me that anyone would lash out at her for something she had no control over, the amount of work and effort she dedicates to putting on a show for us fans is unreal, just the amount of effort she puts into everything is unreal, which is why I hold her in such high regards nobody else comes close. I don't get how people could be mad at her because she had a chest/ear infection...she could have done some serious damage to herself had she attempted to go on stage.
P.S. Can I just say how much I love Kelly for backing P!nk up

I think if i-tunes existed back when Try This was released, Trouble would have probably charted a lot higher given that it was the first single off her new album and the typical download spike a newly released song receives, likewise I think God Is A DJ would have also managed to at least chart on the hot 100 as well.

Can't believe she went #1 :yahoo: I initially thought this would get to about 6 or 7 and have great longevity, but this has now completely exceeded my expectations, and its her third album in a row to yield a #1 hit in the US (Funhouse and the GH being the others obviously)
I now think this has a shot at winning a grammy next year!

I always miss these rates!! the only songs I dislike out of the second lot are I Got Money Now and Get The Party Started. IGMN was boring and forgettable and GTPS while it was good when it first came out just gets on my nerves now. I actually love Mean, it took me a while to love it, but I think it paints the perfect picture of a dying relationship, it's very relatable. I think it would have done well as a single in the US if she released it to rock or country music stations.

WHAT DO THE NUMBERS MEAN!!!?
The numbers are how many audience impressions the song has gotten based on radio plays
This is from Wikipedia: The Hot 100 Airplay chart is a weekly chart that ranks the 100 songs with the most airplay points (frequently referred to as audience impressions, which is a calculation of the number of times a song is played and the audience size of the station playing the tune). A song can pick up an airplay point every time it is selected to be played on specific radio stations that Billboard monitors.
The numbers in parenthesis shows she's still gaining AirPlay

No way is she In decline in the UK (or in the US), the albums already reached Platinum, which is great, and its still pretty early in this era, so there's plenty of time for her to keep selling albums, look at Britney, Christina, Jennifer, etc. they've all bombed with their latest efforts. I'd be much more concerned with them.
