"Rolling in the Deep" • First Single
Wow i can't believe she got #1 in the US :o im so happy this song went #1 in such a huge market cuz its an amazing song, probably one of the best of the year for me so far, and it deserved to top the charts, im so happy for her, she really has had an unbelievable amount of success this era.

'The Edge Of Glory' • 3rd Single Thread
Glad to see its doing so well! and glad its going to be a single, and im so happy she released it on a monday and not a friday so its got a much bigger chance to chart really high. although its a shame its going to radio so soon, i guess they're going to give up on Judas?

I Wanna Go / 3rd Single
Very happy this has been chosen, i think this will be a big hit in the US as it was the most downloaded song the week the album came out and its a very radio friendly song. Can't wait for the video!

Big Fat Bass / Single Rumour
That hasnt stopped other artists like Kesha for example, all 6 of her singles have been club bangers, and all of them have gone top 10, I Wanna Go is catchy enough that i doubt people would care if it sounds similar to the past 2 singles. Criminal would probably do well in Europe/UK but i dont think it would do well in the US, I can't picture radio picking it up, but then again you never know. I still say Gasoline should be a single but i think there are too many others in line to be a single before it.

'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' • Fifth Single
LMAO! is that actually the single single cover? or just a fanmade?
-
Big Fat Bass / Single Rumour
Bad choice, it wont be a hit, it just doesn't go anywhere, i really can't see this being played on the radio, i hate when they choose singles just because there's a featured rapper on it especially when its not even that good, I Wanna Go or Gasoline should have been picked.

Robyn 'Body Talk, Pt. 1 2 & 3' 2010
I'm surprised nobody posted this, Robyn performed on Jimmy Kimmel live 2 weeks ago, she sang Call Your Girlfriend and Dancing On My Own http://youtu.be/4R2zbo--jPA http://youtu.be/spy9uv30y2A Sorry don't know how to embed...

"Rolling in the Deep" • First Single
She just went #1 on US itunes :cheer: she might have a shot at #1 on the hot 100, or at least top 3 which would be great for her!
-
"Motivation" • First US Single
This is #55 on US itunes right now, im pretty surprised actually, considering its fairly week compared to songs like Commander or RCG, but its nice to see she may have a hit on her hands.

"S&M" // 4th Single
Will this version count separately on the charts? (more specifically the hot 100?) or will this just replace the original S&M on the chart and now be listed as Rihanna ft. Britney?

Robyn 'Body Talk, Pt. 1 2 & 3' 2010
Just thought id mention Robyn performed Call Your Girlfriend at the NewNowNext Awards this past Monday on the logo channel, i dont know if the UK gets that channel, but its primarily a gay channel and the NNN Awards are basically the gay awards lol, this was actually the award show where Lady Gaga had her first televised performance ever. Im trying to find the live video of Robyn but it doesnt seem to be up on the website yet. :(

Till The World Ends // 2nd single
#8 On the Hot 100 this week, was hoping she'd be higher, but at least its a new peak!

Natasha Bedingfield - Strip Me
Her song Little Too Much is being used in a commercial to promote a new movie called 'Something Borrowed' it'd be nice if they pushed it as a single, but i doubt they will.

3rd Single Choice?
I voted for I Wanna Go, the fact it was her most cherry picked song shows it has potential to do well as a single, I want Gasoline as a single too, such a good track! honestly though most of the songs on here are single worthy. The only song i still cant get into is Big Fat Bass, i listen to it all the time and its still just average to me, nothing about it compared to the rest of the album stands out, and its so repetitive, i'm sure it will be a single regardless though.

Should BillBoard Hot 100 Singles Chart be sales only?
Sales should count for a larger percentage than anything else on the charts, radio play should count but not as much as sales, its very annoying when old songs that have been charting for ages are STILL top 10 on the hot 100 due to strong airplay but not even top 20 on itunes, yet songs that have been top 10 on itunes for several weeks are having trouble making the top 10 because their airplay isnt strong enough.

Rebecca Black 'Friday'
I think for a lot of people and i know for me, I personally have nothing against her as a person, i dont know her and i know nothing about her, its the song i hate and the way its produced, the lyrics are awful and the auto-tune in the chorus is like nails on a chalkboard no matter how you look at it, its a terribly done song regardless of who sings it.

'Femme Fatale' 7th album
Thats a shame about the UK chart position, especially since its was #4 the whole week, as long as its sales are good, who knows maybe it will climb next week as the mothers day sales decline? im just looking foward to seeing it #1 on the billboard 200!

Singles that will be released, leaked!?
I Wanna Go needs to be the next single everywhere, its the most popular after TTWE on itunes, i dont really like the idea of BFB being a single, i dont see the amazingness of it, but then again i didnt find other Will I Am produced tracks like Photographs (Rhianna) or 3 Words (Cheryl) amazing either, id rather DDB or Gasoline take its place as the 4th single, and Criminal would be a great end to the album era.

S Club 7 Reunion - well kind of
wow at paul...when i think of what he looked like in Miami 7 and what he looks like now...its like night and day. But its nice to see them posing together, and yes im glad to see Jo looking happy, that whole Big Brother thing was ridiculously stupid. Rachel looks amazing, i wish she'd come back and do another album, ive been listening to Come & Get It a lot lately, and wishing it was so much more successful than it was.

'Femme Fatale' 7th album
I bought her album last night, im no britney loon, but i have to say this album is insanely good, and much more cohesive than circus, which left me a little underwhelmed in some places. My faves at the moment (in no particular order): Gasoline I Wanna Go (Drop Dead) Beautiful - shocked this is not liked by many people as i think its great! Inside Out Trip To Your Heart - Again shocked its not well liked, such a summery feel good track Up n Down He About To Lose Me The only two that havent clicked with me yet are How I Roll, and BFB, but How I Roll is growing on me, BFB not so much, i think it'll end up being a good album track for me in the end, but i hope it doesnt get picked as a single.

The Sweet 7 Era - A flop or a success?
I'd definitely say this era flopped, yeah the singles may all have hit 100k, but thats not too hard to do these days as most songs that make the top 20 are able to achieve that feat, and sales are generally much higher than they were back in the day, i mean songs like In The Middle and Caught In A Moment both hit #8 and sold around 50k in total, these days a song will sell that much in one week to get to #8. Not to mention they all fell fast, had they been released after the album, assuming it was selling really well, it might have been more respectable or understandable. Also they failed to convince anyone to buy the album, you would think 3 top 10 singles should have at least guaranteed the album would debut in the top 10, yet it reached #14 and fell out of the top 40 the next week.

Kylie UK Album Chart Runs
It really does go to show how sh**ty album sales have become, Aphrodite is her longest lasting album in the chart since Fever and it went #1, yet it is struggling to go platinum, yet there are several albums that have charted lower and spent less time in the charts and sold more, like X, Body Language and Light Years.

To celebrate the life and death of Nelly
I read the thread but didnt respond after i realized it was only her career that died, but when i first saw the post i almost cried cuz i skim-read it and thought she had actually died. Interestingly enough i follow her facebook page which is connected to her twitter and on it she put up a message saying "Hi there, Ben. I am trying to finish it this year, so it can come out in 2012. Taking my time." I assume she means an album.

5th Album Thread
That stinks we have to wait till september, obviously they're trying to have the album out right before the holiday sales pick up, i guess they really wanna make sure the album hits a million sales as her last two have not achieved that feat.

Bump Watch
so not much longer to wait then!
