  1. Poor Meet Me Halfway  the only song that hasnt gotten on my nerves from this era and the only one to not go #1, nice jump for Rihanna and One Republic!
  2. Yeah i heard it alot on my local dance station, seemed like everytime i tuned to that station it was on, which was cool because i didnt think anyone knew who she was over here, but i havent heard it in a while.
  3. I really wish she'd take a break after the Fame Monster i worry that theres going to be a backlash at her soon because she's never going to be off the radio and tv, its cool she wants to keep making music but i dont want to be at the expense of her career. That said i heard rumors that the album might be called "the fame factory" but its just a rumor i dont know how true it is.
  4. #77 on itunes so far, i hope it climbs as the week goes on, but im worried this wont do so well, i hope i'm wrong though.
  5. Rachel Stevens fell victim of the second album syndrome too....completely undeserved as the first was terrible compared to the second. Negotiate With Love wasnt a great single, but So Good and I Said Never Again should have been able to help the album but even they struggled to be hits. I fear Alphabeat will fall victime to this too which is a shame cuz i love them, i wouldnt be suprised if The Ting Tings struggled with the next album too...although i'll reserve judgement till i hear new material. On the other side Lily Allen had pretty big success with her second album, 3 of the 4 singles were big hits too, i think because her music evolved on the second album, it wasnt so far off from her first but still distinct enough to keep people interested in her. Its hard to avoid the second album syndrome and sometimes its impossible, if someone does change their sound they could be accused of selling out and losing their fanbase, or if they dont change people will get bored of them, and sadly they could play all their cards right but no matter how good the music is nobody cares anymore.
  6. Apparently they're doing a concert in NYC at the end of March!!!! i just got tix i cant wait to see them! i wonder if they'll sing this?
  7. huge drop for Pink but thats expected with no radio support and the fact downloads have fallen since the performance, its still done amazing to even have reached the top 20!
  8. I still wish the WaWa radio edit would have been pushed as the main mix, i can't listen to the original after hearing it
  9. I think an obvious one is The Beatles, when you think about the earlier songs like She Loves You and I Want To Hold Your Hand, and compare it to I Am The Walrus or Strawberry Fields...it quite a drastic change. P!nk changed her sound too, she started out as RnB then switched to pop/rock and its worked for her ever since.
  10. Ive been reading her Twitters and she's still working in the studio she posted a picture yesterday of her in the recording booth, i say let her take her time recording the album, the girls should never have promised an album this soon anyway.
  11. I really do hope its Alejandro i think it could be a huge summer anthem, and it'd be perfect timing too as im sure Telephone will have started to fade by then, but part of me thinks it'll be Monster and even more so Speechless since she seems to be performing that at every high profile event lately.
  12. It still seems like a crime that it missed the top spot in the US, for the size of the hit it was you'd think it was #1 here.
  13. Glitter In The Air makes its debut at #18 on the hot 100 :cheer: thats pretty awesome for just a one off performance! this is now her 4th top 20 single off the album (first time doing that since M!ssundaztood)
  14. Only thing that comes to mind is... Men At Work - Land Down Under I know they had some other hits, but that is the big one that everyone remembers...at least thats the only one i know lol

I think if both Ego and Forever Is Over were released before the album it would have more than likely had stronger first week sales, whether or not it would have kept selling well over time is unknown.

This song is ok, but i dont know if its the best lead off single, it should be Drive My Soul or Saviour, they are both epic!
  17. Performance is on youtube now, it was really good and now I Don't Believe You is flying up itunes already #60! So happy things are still going well for her
  18. Just got an email Pink is performing 'I Don't Believe You' on Oprah tomorrow! Can't wait should be good :D pf1sYfoMEAo
  19. Can't believe how well its doing only one performance has pushed it into the top 5 on itunes! She must have gotten a lot of new fans with this song, considering its an album track taken off an album thats sold quite well. I think this is the only other song other than So What from this album to actually go top 10 on itunes.
  20. now #11 :w00t: this could end up charting much higher than expected if it manages to hang on till next week! I wonder if they'll turn this into a single for the US? They could probably do an amazing video for it.
  21. #17 on US itunes :cheer: hope it keeps climbing would love to see this chart in the top 20/30!
  22. By far the best performance of the night, so happy she got a standing o cuz she deserved it, thats gotta be one of the most amazing songs ever made, just for the fact its so simple yet so beautiful.
  23. Saw this on her twitter before @Pink I got a standing ovation for my run thru! Tonights gonna be funnnnnn...
  24. Love those 5 tracks, such a far cry from most of her current stuff, Wish You Were Here and No Floods are my faves from that EP
  25. OMG YES!!! me and my friends were discussing what she might peform and i mentioned this could be a possibility cuz it has that 'grammy' feel to it, so happy she's doing it, should no doubt be AMAZING! I hope she does it like the tour, and i wonder if she'll be closing the night with it? that'd be the best ever!
