The Promise didnt do anything to screw TLK and Untouchabe out of a good chart position, as its already been said the high album sales and the lack of promotion are what did it. The girls have always relied on promotion to help sell their singles and until this era they did mulitple performances and interviews on different shows for each single released. TLK and Untouchable only got one performance each and regardless of how 'high profile' it is, it's not enough.

It seems to be moving back up on US itunes #25 now, I really hope if nothing else it can at least scrape the top 20.

A lot of people i know say the beat is catchy but the lyrics are really stupid, perhaps thats why its not doing so well? I know there are other songs out there with far worse lyrics but its just a thought.

Yay for Keri Hilson and lady gaga!! also a new peak for P!nk, i think she's gonna climb again next week cuz now she's #21 on itunes all of a sudden.

Wow this is exciting! I really hope they do 2 singles before the album better chances for 2 top 10s and maybe 2 #1's.

Overall very healthy sales figures for the OOC era, Untouchable should at least get 80k which isnt bad coming from an album that sold over 700k, I didnt realize TLK sold that much, i thought it just passed the 100k mark when it fell off the charts.

She looks AMAZING in those pictures, im so happy she's returning to her older look, the HR era look just didnt suit her at all.

I know she had an uphill battle with the first album but i would have thought after Tattoo, No Air and One Step At A Time were all fairly big hits she would have built a large enough fan fanbase for Battlefield to be doing a little better on sales, but I guess she still isnt that kind of artist yet.

I'm actually surprised at how bad its doing on US itunes, i know its still low on radio and the vid isnt out yet, but i would have thought name alone would keep it at least top 20, a lot of people seem to be calling it a rip off of Pat Benatars "love is a battlfield".

I have no idea how well it will do in the UK but as far as the US goes, if the super hyped up Amy can only reach #19, then a 2 year old song that appears on two albums which have sold a combined amount of around 2.5 million (estimate) is probably going to struggle to even make the top 50. Even when it was new i never saw the hype around this track, its incredibly annoying, and i really can't see it doing well on US radio.

This song has grown on me a lot since i first heard it, i thought it was a terrible single choice but i love it now, its #23 in the US now, i really hope it goes top 20 at least although i think it should be top 10, i have a feeling it will fall next week due to all the AI crap clogging up that charts, it was top 20 on itunes, but now its down to #33 cuz of all the AI songs, i hope it can re-bound.

If she is performing she'll probably do Radar as thats the only way it will get a good peak on the hot 100 since its such an old song and pretty much everyone has it already. I think Amy is done in the US.

I'm so excited, she's performing there October 5th, Ive never been to the garden before either, but i saw where im sitting in the virtual seating option, the seats are pretty good.

I just got tickets to see her in Madison Square Garden :yahoo: im so excited it will be the first concert i've ever been to from her, im also psyched cuz the ting tings are opening for her! only 5 months to go!

I'll Be Lovin U Long Time and Side Effects are still amazing songs to me, I dont understand what happened to Lovin U Long Time it was super catchy and should have been a summer smash, it did ok on radio, but downloads were non-existent, i guess Bye Bye is to thank for that...a slush ballad in summer? no thanks! And Side Effects would have been a great single too, shame she chose I Stay In Love instead.

You HAVE to be kidding me? Do they not have brains? how can they possibly think this will have any ounce of success at all? if its already on 2 albums that have gone platinum who is going to download it? I really hope it flops just because her management are idiots. I would have taken Blur or Mannequin over this! maybe if enough people complain they'll switch it?

I will def tell you all about it cuz I got the tickets!! not the best seats but i dont care i may never see her in the US again lol i dont even care about how big the show is, just to be seeing her is enough for me =)
