  1. Great song, glad it held over Another Love (presumably) which had been on enough Year End lists
  2. Not saying you’re wrong but that estimate is much lower than I would’ve thought, given how well it’s performed in the second half of the year! In regards to other entries I’m still crossing my fingers for Dive even though there’s not much time left for it. Looks like it would have to get a platinum certification soon to prove it’s not far away
  3. Anybody got a yearly sales estimate for Let Down and Escapism?
  4. And do we think Subway and Survive are completely out of the race now? If so it's kinda wild that 2 non-charity number 1's from the middle of the year will miss the year end list. I don't remember the last time that would've happened, especially in the streaming age!
  5. Anyone got a sales prediction for Olivia Dean's Dive? Could be a potential wildcard?
  6. It's not even gone silver yet. It's probably around about 180-195k. It's been out for about 4 months too and there are only 2 left.
  7. 53 of the top 100 are on ACR. Is that a record excluding Xmas?
  8. They're both very well known in the modern rave/dnb scene
  9. Great list btw! Small one, but Fisherman by J Hus has charted. It was #47 on Common Sense's release
  10. I love Dakota, but I think it's an extremely worrying sign that all three of the new/re-entries have not charted on the singles chart this year. That puts the total number of non-charters on the YTD list up from 9 to 12. Compare that to only 13 songs released in 2025 that are on the actual YTD list! Also I'm not tracking this year (or at least, yet...) but I'm surprised Belong Together and A Sky Full Of Stars haven't been mentioned on this forum as songs that could go anytime soon. Surprised they made it to the halfway mark!
  11. Amazed Who has a serious chance of missing the mid year mark!
  12. No new peak for Revolving Door this week?
  13. Yes it is, but that's also why the frequency of songs that have been number one for >2 months has increased massively since streaming was added. Even if Ordinary doesn't take Adams' record, I'd be surprised if something else doesn't over the next 10 years
  14. Tbh Bryan Adams getting the record will always be more impressive because even if the charts were incredibly weak back in 1991, it was still at a time when people had to go to shops and spend money on the individual record. Warren's lead and streaming numbers are impressive, but it won't be as impressive if he takes the record because the method of consumption is so much easier for people to do and so vastly different. I wonder if both songs will end up holding the same reputation too lol. Ordinary is the best song on Warren's album and better than Everything I Do, but I wouldn't mind if it similarly goes down as one of the most despised hits of the decade!
  15. Did Nokia and The Giver not reach new peaks this week?
  16. think you might’ve forgot Show Me Love? Was that the other debut this week?
  17. Is Burning Down meant to be DCL-3 instead of DCL-1? It was DCL-2 the previous week.
  18. I think Lava's Chicken breaks the all time record for the shortest charting song of all time, with the streaming audio being only 34 seconds. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  19. I've been ordering this list by the dates of the songs releases, and with What Is This Feeling now gone, May 2024 overtakes November 2024 for the month with the most releases on this list with 9! (Not Like Us, 360, I Had Some Help, Stargazing, WILDFLOWER, BIRDS OF A FEATHER, Pink Skies, Messy and Carry You Home). Amazing that this crazy month for popular music is still responsible for so much of 2025's hit music consumption Speaking of which, I'm surprised Don't Stop Me Now is still in!
  20. I think the previous week positions are incorrect for this week Julian
  21. Do we think Someone You Loved will fall off soon? It’s not been on the Spotify Top 200 for a lot of this year, which hasn’t happened before
  22. These Kendrick tracks not being all that high in a chart where ACR is still effecting the top half fairly heavily is a little concerning. Maybe the Thursday algorithm thing worked against him
  23. Praying for an All The Stars reset into the top 10! OK how do I delete posts hahahaha
  24. 2014, cause even if the music wasn't the best it was really fun trying to predict the number 1 each week from where pre-orders were charting on iTunes, although it was definitely more fun in the first half of the year compared to the second.
