I love that there’s 20 songs - especially such high quality right the way through. I don’t feel the need to get to the end each time (although I have a few times) - I just pick up the album wherever I leave it each time. Is it true there’s a hidden track on the CDs? Maybe I missed someone saying this before. I loved the folk eras - I’m probably one of the only people who prefers Evermore over Folklore. But I also love that this album is a progression from 1989, Reputation and Lover. It’s drawn on sounds from those albums and it’s like, hello, I’m your older sister…

Midnights: 80 - 90k. I actually think 90k + but almost feel it’s too good to be true and want to lower my expectations!

After some intense listening today, I’ve rated each song. Honestly can’t remember giving this many #10s to one of Taylor’s albums. And I’m really trying not to be a crazy stan. Lavender Haze = 9 Maroon = 10 Anti Hero = 10 Snow on the Beach = 9.5 You’re on your own kid = 10 Midnight Rain = 5 Question = 10 Vigilante Shit = 6 Bejeweled = 10 Labyrinth = 10 Karma = 10 Sweet Nothing = 10 Mastermind = 9 The Great War = 9.5 Bigger than the Whole Sky = 9 Paris = 8 High Infidelity = 10 Glitch = 7 Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve = 10 Dear Reader = 7 Looking at my ratings, clearly I’m less of a fan of the more sassy ones 😂

My favourite tracks keep changing minute by minute to be fair. Right now this one is in pole position. It’s bringing back my teenage angst days growing up in the valleys in Wales & all that unrequited love #nostalgia

This is definitely the right choice for the lead single. It will be well received by the general public. Can’t wait to see the video. I’m not doing any of the work I should be doing today - I think I’ll probably get sacked after today.

Just read through everyone’s comments. Mixed feelings but generally everyone seems to be enjoying the album. Seems like a grower of an album. Love that Taylor brought down Spotify 😂 Metacritic initial score so good! Now at 94 (9 positive ratings & 0 mixed/negative ratings) with 8.8 user score. I forgot Lana was on Snow on the beach 😂 The Great War - like it a lot Bigger than the whole sky - such a beautiful song Paris - okay High infidelity - LOVE Glitch - Not really a fan to be honest on first listen Would’ve could’ve should’ve - pretty cool - great sound (and will be a grower for me for sure like Delicate was Dear reader - beautiful I love the sounds in these 7 tracks So my top songs atm: Maroon Anti hero You’re on your own kid Question Bejeweled High infidelity And so many others are strong / growing on me including Lavender Haze and Karama! Taylor fans are so lucky!
