This is definitely the right choice for the lead single. It will be well received by the general public. Can’t wait to see the video. I’m not doing any of the work I should be doing today - I think I’ll probably get sacked after today.

Just read through everyone’s comments. Mixed feelings but generally everyone seems to be enjoying the album. Seems like a grower of an album. Love that Taylor brought down Spotify 😂 Metacritic initial score so good! Now at 94 (9 positive ratings & 0 mixed/negative ratings) with 8.8 user score. I forgot Lana was on Snow on the beach 😂 The Great War - like it a lot Bigger than the whole sky - such a beautiful song Paris - okay High infidelity - LOVE Glitch - Not really a fan to be honest on first listen Would’ve could’ve should’ve - pretty cool - great sound (and will be a grower for me for sure like Delicate was Dear reader - beautiful I love the sounds in these 7 tracks So my top songs atm: Maroon Anti hero You’re on your own kid Question Bejeweled High infidelity And so many others are strong / growing on me including Lavender Haze and Karama! Taylor fans are so lucky!

Wait. What?? There’s a 3am version?! 7 more songs hahahahah. I’ll try and listen to those in the next few hours I love so many songs on this album. Second and third listens are making it so much better too. How does she keep churning out such amazing songs with real diversity?? :wub:

Haven’t got time to read everyone’s comments yet but can’t wait to later … Okay, so overall I’m really pleased with this album! I think lowering my expectations certainly helped going in for my first lesson! It’s certainly got its highlights (& only some lowlights for me). I’ll need more time to explore it deeper but I’ve enjoyed the first listen and glad we are back to more of a pop sound - however much I loved a trip into folk land. Can’t wait to finish work today and binge listen. My first listen: Lavender Haze - okay (think it’s a grower - love her voice) not a great start to the album though! Maroon - love Anti - Hero - like (lyrics are great) Snow of the beach - beautiful - like You’re on your own kid - love Midnight Rain - no thanks (at risk of having a play count of 1) Question…? - love - (probably one of my favourites on first listen with Maroon & You’re on your own kid) Vigilante Shit - bottom end of okay (quite disappointed with this actually) - hoping it will grow Bejeweled - love - so cool Labyrinth - like - she sounds gorgeous (think this will be a grower for me) Karma - like - I get the comment made previously about the lyrics but I think the lyrics are meant to be tongue in cheek - this is giving me some early 200s vibes! Sweet nothing - like a lot (another grower for sure) loving her voice Mastermind - like this too - enjoying the idea of this (often thought about this in my deeper sliding doors moments)

You’ll be able to listen before me as I’m going to be asleep. I’ve got such a busy day at work tomorrow but I’m gonna get up early and try and listen at every given opportunity in the day. I wonder if people would mind if I had it on in the background when I had my meetings at work tomorrow :P

Mine haven’t been dispatched yet. Very intrigued by the mixed comments that I have read on here. Some of the sounds/songs that are being criticised are actually some of my favourite Taylor Swift sounds/songs. But feeling a little uncertain by some of the other comments. It has definitely lowered my expectations too. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see!!

Oh my! Not long until I can listen. Getting a feel of the sound of it from the comments of people who have listened. I think I’m gonna like it.
