London

Wait. What?? There’s a 3am version?! 7 more songs hahahahah. I’ll try and listen to those in the next few hours I love so many songs on this album. Second and third listens are making it so much better too. How does she keep churning out such amazing songs with real diversity??

Oh god Anti Hero on the second listen giving me life :cheer:

Haven’t got time to read everyone’s comments yet but can’t wait to later … Okay, so overall I’m really pleased with this album! I think lowering my expectations certainly helped going in for my first lesson! It’s certainly got its highlights (& only some lowlights for me). I’ll need more time to explore it deeper but I’ve enjoyed the first listen and glad we are back to more of a pop sound - however much I loved a trip into folk land. Can’t wait to finish work today and binge listen. My first listen: Lavender Haze - okay (think it’s a grower - love her voice) not a great start to the album though! Maroon - love Anti - Hero - like (lyrics are great) Snow of the beach - beautiful - like You’re on your own kid - love Midnight Rain - no thanks (at risk of having a play count of 1) Question…? - love - (probably one of my favourites on first listen with Maroon & You’re on your own kid) Vigilante Shit - bottom end of okay (quite disappointed with this actually) - hoping it will grow Bejeweled - love - so cool Labyrinth - like - she sounds gorgeous (think this will be a grower for me) Karma - like - I get the comment made previously about the lyrics but I think the lyrics are meant to be tongue in cheek - this is giving me some early 200s vibes! Sweet nothing - like a lot (another grower for sure) loving her voice Mastermind - like this too - enjoying the idea of this (often thought about this in my deeper sliding doors moments)

You’ll be able to listen before me as I’m going to be asleep. I’ve got such a busy day at work tomorrow but I’m gonna get up early and try and listen at every given opportunity in the day. I wonder if people would mind if I had it on in the background when I had my meetings at work tomorrow :P

 I can barely contain myself

Thank you. I’ll be ready to give my initial verdict so so soon !!!!

Argh these reviews from some hardcore fans are a little depressing! God I hope I love it though. Few more hours to go eek I do hope the leaks won’t destroy first day streaming sales

Mine haven’t been dispatched yet. Very intrigued by the mixed comments that I have read on here. Some of the sounds/songs that are being criticised are actually some of my favourite Taylor Swift sounds/songs. But feeling a little uncertain by some of the other comments. It has definitely lowered my expectations too. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see!!

Oh my! Not long until I can listen. Getting a feel of the sound of it from the comments of people who have listened. I think I’m gonna like it.

:w00t: I must resist  Exited beyond belief …

Lols. I thought you’d have a midnights one on :yahoo:

I had to read your blocked out spoiler ! This is the sound I’ve been hoping for  As it should be  ;)

Same. I’m going to hold back ! I’m surprised they haven’t leaked sooner …

I chose 7

CAN NOT wait for these ! Week of fun coming up !!

So it says!!

Just tired to look and got this message: ‘SORRY – WE'RE EXPERIENCING A LARGE NUMBER OF REQUESTS FOR THIS SITE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN SHORTLY.’ Fans going crazy trying to get those Taylor Swift tour codes !!

OMG breathe … yes… Pulling out all the stops to get those high presales !!

Bring on the promo !!

Voted. All too well deserves this !

That’s what I went for ! Snap!

We’ve predicted the U.K. opening sales & chart position so now let’s do it for the US. I think the chart position is probably obvious but what about sales? Just to remind you of first week sales: Red (Taylor’s version): 605,000 album equivalent units in November 2021 Fearless (Taylor’s version): 291,000 album equivalent units in April 2021 Evermore TS9: 329,000 album equivalent units in December 2020 Folklore TS8: 846,000 album equivalent units in July 2020 Lover TS7: 867,000 album equivalent units in August 2019 Reputation TS6: 1.2 million album equivalent units in November 2017

I’d love it if you were right - can you imagine. But… I feel it will fall short and so similar Lover numbers despite 869 different formats …

So I read in the guardian that Midnights ‘marks an official return to “pop”’ Is that confirmed or they are just guessing? Or maybe it is obvious idk.

A week to go until the release. 18 votes 10 think it will debut at #1 and 8 at #2. The most common sales prediction is 60 - 69,000 Only time will tell. As for the US? Surely #1 but how many sales?! Lover sold 679,000 units in its debut week while Reputation sold 1.2 million units. With no lead single, who knows…
