  1. This awesome. Whoop - well deserved
  2. Love to see The Last Great American Dynasty in that list.
  3. After listening to the album, the song they keeps going around and around in my head is who's afraid of little old me - it's like her voice is screaming in my head lol
  4. So long London today - wowsers
  5. What you've described is deeply entrenched systemic misogyny - some people can't stand to see a successful woman and feel the need to sabotage it. In the words of Taylor herself: “the worst kind of person is someone who makes someone feel bad, dumb or stupid for being excited about something."
  6. My favourites keep changing all the time as I uncover more and more from the album. Besides I can do it with a broken heart and the TTPD, which have been consistent favourites since release, today I'm being connecting to: - So Long, London - Who's afraid of little old me? - Clara Now - The Albatross - How did it end? Thank you Aimee There's only a couple of songs out of 31 I skip.
  7. :( Definitely not to everyone's tastes.
  8. Today the Albatross is hitting me hard
  9. If you knew the point of them, you'd actually realise they are anything but pointless.
  10. 100% - once women reach a certain age, how dare they continue to do the same music which was successful for them previously. Expected to completely re-invent themselves over and over in a way not expected of men. And how the fall of a female artist is celebrated ! Im glad she's sticking two fingers up to all and doing what she wants - with success.
  11. Exactly. I wonder if we'd be having these conversations if she was a man. I also wonder if she's be constantly expected to reinvent herself if she was a man.
  12. Really feeling 'How did it end? today - beautiful
  13. I think this is a really great and accurate summary. I think her more recent albums (particularly Folklore and Evermore) scooped up even more fans while managing to hold on to many of the older ones too.
  14. Haha - the only graph comparison that matters
  15. Love I can do it with a broken heart lyric video - really brings it alive
  16. Really hoping this becomes one of the three charting songs.
  17. I was disappointed after the first listen tbh but after a few listens the album came alive for me and now I'm pretty addicted to it.
  18. WD - I'm kinda bored of it these days
  19. I hope the three charting songs are: Fortnight The tortured poets department I can do it with a broken heart
  20. Yay. Got to love release week
  21. I'm feeling this too. Whose afraid of little old me is giving me the last great American Dynasty part 2 vibes.
  22. Agree with all of this. I was disappointed on first listen but once I got over that there weren't any real highs and actually took in the songs, I've realised there aren't actually many songs out of 31 that I didn't like.
  23. My cd The Boulter CD arrived yesterday - I love it
  24. Loving the tortured poets department song so much - for sure my biggest play so far. But I've been listening to this album all weekend when I can and each time I uncover something new. I didn't appreciate how beautiful So Long, London is until a few listens in.
