I’ve been listening to Lover a lot again over the last couple of weeks and it has got me thinking about what my ideal single release schedule would have looked like. I mean, when you listen to the album as a whole, it has such depth and those single choices don’t make sense to me at all. My ideal would definitely have been different. Below are the single releases - with peaks -for each era since the Red era. Apologies if I’ve got the order for Reputation wrong - it’s a bit confusing :lol: Were you happy with the single choices? Would you have released them in this order? I mean I’d make do with 1989 too. Only Thursday will tell… if at all… I’ve been trying very hard not to listen to 1989 or Speak Now all year in anticipation and so that I can binge listen on release !

Three of the top 4 in my top 10 (Keane is not in my top 10 but still appreciate it to be a great track). Was hoping U2 would snatch the top spot - such a classic; a beautiful track. Here’s to Radio Head winning out of the last two tracks… a good reminder of my teenager angst years …

Good question! I’ve really loved the folk era(s) but I really hope she does return at some point to the pop sound equivalent of 1989. IMO, I think she will. And let’s not forget, she’s most likely going to release some songs from the vault for the 1989 era and my god I’m excited to hear these! What I do have a strong feeling about is that once she’s finished releasing Taylor’s versions, she’ll be taking a longer break as she’s released a lot recently.

A little respect is a great song. Respect for its top 6 placing. I heard it a lot in the lgbt+ bars growing up in Cardiff :D

I’m surprised All Good Things ended up with such a high placing. IMO well deserved of course. I listened to it so much back then and have been again since this rate. I think it’s my favourite Furtado song.

She - like all of us - obviously knew Evermore didn’t have a hope in hell of winning the album of the year. I saw it was on but didn’t even think about it lol. I hope she sings live somewhere soon or announces another tour or something…
