For me, the vault tracks are the strongest in Speak Now then other re-releases so far. Can discuss when you get to Taylor's version.

And let's not forget she wrote Speak Now entirely by herself - she's the only credited writer. Impressive...

Glad you enjoyed speak now. A master class of an album. I think the first 9 songs are all outstanding. Enchanted is still one of my favourite Taylor tracks overall.

I think fearless is such a fab album and some real gems on there. Apart from the obvious, I love Hey Stephen and Forever and Always :heart: It's got a couple of great vault tracks which I think you'll like when you come to Taylor's version. But this album is way down on the list for me compared to her other albums. I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on speak now which is one of my favourite albums.

Okay so seeing the options has made it make sense to me. So today I basically purchased the standard cd + the manuscript - and have now somehow managed to miss both collectors editions. Today it seems I logged onto the site too early!!! (As soon as the announcement was made on Instagram but before it came onto the site) and last time I was too late. Bit at least I have the standard version FFS. Although to be fair, with midnights I went nuts and bought all parts of the clock. I actually got confused and ended up buying the standard version twice because I didn't realise it made up 1/4 of the clock. We live and learn. So maybe it's good that I'm just sticking to the standard version this time.

I'm getting so confused. So.the version I bought today on the Taylor store, by mistake (thinking it was the new bolter cd) is just the standard version? Edit: worked it out...

Great review! This quote of yours sums it up perfectly: 'Of the album itself I found it to be quite pleasant without being anything to special.' I find this album good background music for when I'm doing something else. I agree the singles are the strongest efforts. Our song is probably one of my faves on the album.
