Christmas Number One Single Odds
I wouldn't mind James Corden getting it. It's an original Christmas song; when's the last time an original Christmas track was Christmas #1? It's for charity, too.

OCC: The biggest selling Children In Need singles ranked
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Needed-Official-Ch...d+all+we+needed Does anyone know if Craig David's CIN single is rerecorded in anyway? Or is it the same as his album version?

Predict how many singles will pass 1m in 2016
11 - 990,000 - Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop The Feeling 12 - 984,000 - Fifth Harmony - Work From Home 14 - 936,000 - Callum Scott - Dancing On My Own I would be stunned if these 3 don't all pass a million, so at the very least 13. I also think James Arthur will pass a million, and possibly the X Factor single if it's a strong one. At least 17, I would say.

OCC: Who's the biggest X Factor star of them all?
I think James Arthur will climb higher. I reckon he'll at the very least takeover Alexandra Burke's total.

Just downloading Frozen - Google Play don't make it simple to download an album to your computer, do they?!

I reckon Band Aid will hold far stronger and be able for a much longer time. The CD single in 3 weeks will boost the sales up tons, as will Christmas itself.

Completely agree! That Wake Me Up cover is horrible to listen to. God Only Knows has people that can sing, which kind of helps! :P

Probably because it is comparatively a much less known song of his? Even though it did originally chart at #8 in 1993...it's a very under-rated song, in my opinion.

It got played on the "WHATTHEBUCKSHOW" on YouTube, which has over 1 million subscribers. That has probably helped.

Oh yeah; in my head I thought Single Tear got to 18, but it was 28! That just makes it even worse...and Becky Hill's hit was as a featured artist. I don't understand why not one of them has gone on to have a decent chart career, or at least one hit between them.

Will anyone from The Voice UK ever do well? They have singers with talent, the show has a decent audience, but only one act has had a top 20 hit after their time on the show - Tyler James, who already had a record deal previously before The Voice UK.

So are CD singles officially dead yet?
0.4 in 2013?! Wow. I imagine a gutting amount of those CD singles were by James Arthur and Sam Bailey.

It is! I've just found out it's for charity, too, which has removed a lot of my cynicism.

In 1 minute, a collaboration between Tinchy Stryder and The Chuckle Brothers will be released. Any chance of it charting? Please say yes.

The Voice UK let the songs chart. Leah McFall had the far more successful songs and was 2nd. Similarly, Christina Marie had the most successful singles and didn't win. Maybe that changed their mind this year?

I really hope she can get a top 10 with this track. She should be massive, she's so, so good.

Will The Voice ever have a big successful artist
Becky Hill's debut solo single was released last week, and didn't even make the top 100 of the chart. While she has had success as a featured artist, this doesn't guarantee solo success. Think of Ella Eyre; number 1 featuring on Rudimental's Waiting All Night, but her debut solo single only managed top 20. Hopefully Ella will do better with her follow-up, as she's brilliant.
