  1. So Wham are also going to pass 35 weeks as well this year, right? It could be a record that they and Mariah trade back and forth, like they seem to do with so many other records...
  2. Because if LadBaby didn't take it every year, we'd have some really good songs getting the Christmas number 1. If LadBaby hadn't released his songs, these would have all been Christmas Number 1: 2018: Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho 2019: Stormzy, Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy - Own It 2020: Mariah Carey - AIWFCIY 2021: Ed Sheeran and Elton John - Merry Christmas Everyone So it's not even like the last 4 years would have all been old Christmas songs as the Christmas Number One! I'd have much preferred all of these 4 than LadBaby's shite.
  3. You're posting on a chart forum, mate. In terms of trying to stop it, The Kunts are releasing a song, F*** the T*ries, which includes a version that directly attacks LadBaby. So they are the alternative.
  4. LadBaby has 1.08 million subscribers. Sidemen have 138.7 million (combined). If LadBaby outsells them, then something fishy is up.
  5. These are the X Factor number 1s in the top 40...I'm pretty surprised to see that the songs by Ben/Shayne/Matt have done so well in the streaming era! Ben especially, considering how short his chart career was.

Genuinely reckon the Kunts have a good chance with this, considering the year the Tories have had! Strange to not see them listed in any of the betting odds...as if The Half Timers (800 monthly listeners on Spotify) have more chance than a punk band with 3 top 20 singles to their name!

Bizarre that Dizzee didn't get a credit for Band Aid 20?! For all the talk of rappers credited as featured artists, I wonder how often it goes the other way and they don't get the credit.
  8. I believe they charted with 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas', too!

Oh yeah, just new releases from Michael Jackson, Queen and Madonna.

Dwayne Johnson You're Welcome Walt Disney Platinum 2x Single 06.05.2022 18.11.2016 1.2m sales despite never charting!
  11. It was in the top 40 on the first midweeks, so I am pretty sure it has sold a bit more than 100 each day. I don't think they'll be as high as their Boris Johnson tracks, but there's a decent chance they'll make the top 40, because of the sheer number of downloads across all 10 versions.
  12. Boris Johnson is a Sausage Roll
  13. The Sex Pistols were literally robbed of number 1.
  14. I would love to see them do an overview of the top selling X Factor artists overall. And to see if Brookstein's 2nd album sales is still below 5k. Yeah, it's a really shoddy piece of writing. If anyone should use the right terminology, it's the OCC themselves! Some poor people who aren't chart nerds might genuinely believe that Rihanna's overlooked second single sold "streaming sales in excess of 8 million"!
  15. Hall & Oates has been certified Platinum x2, the only song not to reach the top 100 to sell over a million. I imagine You're Welcome isn't far off, though!
  16. Kunt and the Gang had a #66 hit in 2010, before finally going top 5 with his anti-Boris song in 2020 with The Kunts.
  17. Glad Dave stayed in the top 10. It would have felt incredibly unfair if he just missed out because of a Greatest Hits collection.
  18. LadBaby proves that there is still a big enough download market for charity singles to comfortably reach #1 on most weeks of the year. Band Aid 30 did 300k+ in their first week, too. None of the Band Aid follow-ups will sell anywhere near the original, but it's more about upholding the tradition than topping the first one. As for will LadBaby try again next year? Only they know. But the X Factor had 4 Christmas #1 singles in a row before the RATM took them on, so I am hoping there will be a big campaign for something to beat them next year, whether they try it or not. Say what you like about X Factor winners, but at least all of them had some singing talent and wanted to be musicians.
  19. Most likely Gayle, but Ardee and Sam Fender should also do well.
  20. Has there ever been 12 versions of a single song in the top 20 on iTunes?! I think The Kunts got 7 of the top 10 songs at one point last year, but this is incredible.
  21. Oh yeah, and I'm sure Rage Against the Machine and Joe McElderry made a pact, too...
  22. 2 The Kunts - Boris Johnson is STILL a f***ing c**t 5 The Kunts - Boris Johnson is STILL a f***ing c**t (feat. The Kunts - Boris Johnson is STILL a f***ing c**t (Petrol bast*rd Remix) 24 The Kunts - Boris Johnson is STILL a f***ing c**t (feat. BabyLad) [babylad's Sausage Roll SFW Version] The Kunts are giving it one more big push, no doubt helped by LadBaby's moany comments!
  23. There are rumours that Boris will effectively cancel Christmas again next week. If he does that, The Kunts will have a shot at #2, at the very least.
  24. I'd quite like to see a list of all of the Christmas Number 1s by sales. I imagine LadBaby would have the bottom 3 places.
  25. It's currently #95 in the first midweeks. Looking like the Christmas wave of tracks might finally knock it out the top 100!
