Here is an article from the following week's Music Week.

Charlie Puth is 43 on the album update tonight

Left the top 20 since Friday ( 5 ) - Stateside - PinkPantheress ( 14 ) - I Just Might - Bruno Mars ( 19 ) - Opalite - Taylor Swift ( 20 ) - Raindance - Dave / Tems

They mentioned Easter just then - there is a first look show on the schedule for Easter Sunday next week.

So Easy ( To Fall In Love ) drops 14 places due to ACR but still get's a play and still sounds good !

More like bad planning by the producers

By a SOLO woman - otherwise you would have to include Kirsty MacColl.

Yes I know.

Jack not playing Jane McDonald during the album chart !!

The next song to play is Ordinary from February 2025 !!

78-73-71-51-38-35-35-35-35-35-33-32 Number 32 after 12 weeks Choosin Texas is in the middle of the slowest climb to number 1. It will be the first number 1 of 2027 after the Christmas clearout !!

Yes that's right - they won't blur out the image or skip the number in the countdown.

Yes - you may remember we skipped 6 episodes when I'll Be Missing You by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans was number 1 in 1997. You can skip a song in the middle of the show but not the number 1 as that affects the final piece to screen from the presenter so it does not look like a smooth edit - and of course finding out what is "Top of the Pops" is the whole point of the show.

Not sure we would lose episodes re R Kelly. If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time appears twice on the show - the video on the 29th October and a satellite performance on the 26th November show. Both performances were in the middle of the show so should be easy to delete each performance like they did when Puff Daddy appeared with Jimmy Page on Come With Me in August 1998.

It has not been mentioned on here so not sure if you guys are aware - we will be skipping a couple of 1999 episodes. Tomorrow night we will have the 25th June and the 2nd July episodes. Next Friday night we will have the 23rd and 30th July episodes. We will be skipping the 9th and 16th July episodes - the reason appears to be a racist cartoon caricature in the video to Gouryella by Gouryella which is in the top 20 countdown on both shows.

number 28 tonight

The head of the Official Charts Company, Martin Talbot, will be stepping down soon. I think DJ Cheeky Magpie should get the job !!

Man I Need still sounding fabulous.

Last week for Opalite ?

K Pop Demon Hunters back on top of the Compilation Chart !!

It is !!

currently number 29 on the US Hot 100

sorry - Should be Rein Me In !

4 songs in the top 10 have over 20 top 10 weeks each Rein Me In - 22 weeks So Easy ( To Fall In Love ) - 22 weeks Lush Life - 24 weeks Man I Need - 27 weeks

27 top 10 weeks for Man I Need - has not been at number 3 or number 9...yet !
