Together For Palestine down to number 37 tonight.

Over on the chart that nobody cares about - the Big Top 40 - their Christmas number 1 is Where Is My Husband by Raye.

Looks like Lullaby is outside the top 20.

Gwen Stefani up 50 places !!

Big jump for Chris Rea - up 17 places since Friday.

I stand corrected in my comments about Christmas music on the 27th December. So people may have still been streaming Christmas music on the 27th December, but I had a look at the schedules for Radio 1 and Radio 2 for the 27th December last year and could not find any Christmas songs being played on the radio.

I seriously doubt people will still be streaming Christmas songs on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th. By the way - looking ahead - next year's Christmas number 1 will be revealed on Christmas Day itself !!

I wish we were having a first look next Sunday ( after the Christmas clearout ) instead of tomorrow which will just be full of Christmas songs again,

Kylie Minogue has the Christmas number 1 on SCR sales of 55,926 Wham! at number 2 on ACR sales of 46,616 but would be number 1 on SCR sales of 91,751. Xmas by Kylie Minogue would be number 7 without ACR

Jack not doing his random number 1 generator today. Good.

They had the Christmas number 1 single back in 1979 !!

The BBC News website does not show what Jack is up to between the records !

Jack - when the lyrics start you stop talking !!

The BBC News stream is about a minute behind Radio 1.

Yes I know but it was credited to Band Aid 2 and not to Kylie.

The 74th Christmas number 1 today - will Kylie become the 3rd Australian to have the Christmas number 1 after Rolf Harris in 1969 and Nicole Kidman ( with Robbie Williams ) in 2001.

This Mariah song is nonsence. If I turned up at Mariah's house on Christmas morning and said: "Sorry Mariah - I didn't get you a present because all you wanted was me " Mariah would slam the door in my face !!

Big jump for Elton - up 11 places !

I agree with Lauren about the Waitresses and Christmas Wrapping. Very underrated.

A bit strange hearing The Fate Of Ophelia first - so used to hearing it played last !

If so then that will be Kylie's 2nd Christmas number 2 after Especially For You with Jason Donovan in 1988

That changed in 1998 I believe.

Let's hope Jack will have Andrew Ridgeley in the studio next week when Wham ! get the Christmas number 1 !!

Mariah Carey number 1 in the US this week for the 7th Christmas in a row.

Brenda Lee still not beating Mel ( Smith ) and Kim ( Wilde ) from 1987.
