Is it still the pre orders that are making Sigma #1 at the moment or is there a particular time frame for purchases on iTunes that determines the order of the songs in the chart?

It looks like Prayer In C might fall to #3 on iTunes today.

A lot of the comments on youtube say that The Script's song sounds like Coldplay - Paradise but to me it sounds like Hall Of Fame 2.0 (minus Will.i.am), so I suppose we should have expected this to happen if it's using the winning formula of Paradise & Hall Of Fame. When I first heard it I thought that it sounded like the type of song that would be #1 in the UK and also like the type of song that would get a massive boost from x-factor usage like if a contestant gets put through to the live shows or something.

2. The Script - Superheroes 96.61% This is certainly going to be #1 on iTunes at some point this week, most likely today. The way that this song has increased in the past 24 hours and the way that it's been in non-stop green on kworb is reminiscent of a song that would not have had any pre-orders in the singles chart (i.e a song released from an EP). If Duke Dumont released his song last week like he was supposed to then The Script would certainly have been this week's number one and probably with a big lead as well.

Rari Work Out was pushed back by a week to tomorrow just because Lethal Bizzle appeared on Soccer AM this morning, so that is another example of a song being pushed back by 1 extra week. It looks like there is going to be 2 versions of Prayer In C in the iTunes top 10 this weekend, the lead that Lily Wood & The Prick are going to have tomorrow could be one of the biggest of the year so far. Tomorrow will most likely be the biggest sales day ever that the real version of Prayer In C will have in it's entire chart history.
