Yea Pat is definitely very missed although I'd still put Ronnie and Roxy above her in terms of characters they shouldn't have killed off I don't really like flash back/flash forward things, it's been so overdone by EE recently, it's just lazy writing to me. The only exception was the 6 storyline but that was because there was an actual plot and build up etc so it worked

Genuinely, I think if the Christmas episodes are as shite as the lead up is there's going to be so many people just giving up on it, that seems to be the general consensus from what I've read online anyway. Having old characters return and be central in the main plot only works if they can act. I'm still holding out hope for Michelle Ryan because she hasn't been given much to work with but Anthony needs to piss off, I really struggle watching him. Even pairing him with good characters/actresses isn't helping. I mean, Bobby Brazier did a better job with little to no experience 😅

Maybe the Cindy obsession was just to get closer to Oscar but given how into Jasmine he has been from the start she really wouldn't need to have any sort of ulterior motive to be around him so even that doesn't make sense 😂 Try to keep a Slater away from a Branning challenge 🤭 Anthony being the dad also doesn't make sense, I'd rather it was some random tbh and also how does Jasmine even know Zoe is her mum ???

Okay so I was putting off watching this because honestly the breaks between seasons is far too long for me that I'd lost interest and couldn't really remember what happened in the previous seasons but also couldn't be bothered to rewatch 😅 That being said, I've done an episode each night this week just as something to put on and I'm surprised by how much I've enjoyed episodes 2-4 in particular. I think my love for Winona helps tbf 🤭 The plot seems more thought out this time, there's direction since we know this is how it's all coming to an end. I'm interested in Max's story in particular as it has the most question marks around it and of course the latest Will development. I don't really care about what El and Hopper are doing and I keep forgetting about the other group that's in the upside down (except Steve, he can stay). Having Joyce and Robin teaming up and integrating with Will, Mike and Lucas is great too, they're my two faves anyway so them having scenes together has won me over, basically. Robins character development has been really well done and I love how they're linking that to Will's story. It's nice to see Robin be her own character rather than a goofy side character to add to the plots of Steve and Nancy. I feel like they've kinda ruined Dustin's character in the first half but we'll see what happens with him going forward I guess, Nancy a little too.

I feel like Pestolia is being a little overlooked tbh, it sounds like something with quite a bit of cross appeal to me! Can't really call anything from my semi tho tbf 😅

The only thing with continuing it as normal is that there's a disadvantage to those in semi 1 if it's harder to qualify than it would be in semi 2, unless an extra song gets through from semi 1 I suppose
