If the issue is because she filmed her video in bed that's just bizarre, like thats probably the only chance throughout the day where she's got time to herself to actually catch up. Plus, to me it feels more authentic that she's just turned her camera on to have a chat about where she stands on the whole thing, especially after the fake screenshot that was circulating. Can't really say the same about the mother's video though... I know I'm posting a lot in here but it's no secret how much I admire Chappell and her music so I am going to defend where I see fit

Honestly, I think people just want to tear Chappell down, the smear campaign theory makes a lot of sense. There's almost nothing people haven't tried, aside from the "she's a bitch" "she's mean to fans" "she's too blunt" all because people don't like being told no, I've seen things like she's not actually a lesbian, she's exploiting queer people, she wasn't actually poor before she blew up, she doesn't write her own music, she hates kids and people who choose to have them (even before this incident)... It's endless. I really feel for her, all she wanted to do was make music and perform and use her platform to give back to her community but instead she has all of this complete bullshit to contend with as well.

Yes she's working in the public eye but she's still a normal person who should be entitled to privacy and able to enforce boundaries on things she's not comfortable with, just as any of the rest of us would. How would you like to be constantly followed, hounded, photographed, asked for things etc when you're just trying to do normal everyday things? Plus, Chappell doing this is making life easier for other celebrities, just look at how much better the paparazzi have been treating them on red carpets since she told one of them off 😅 Also the Paris video wasn't of fans, it was paparazzi hounding her as she was trying to go back to her hotel, she's already asked them to leave her alone multiple times before she started filming so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also, I don't think it's that Chappell never wants to interact with her fans, there's plenty of videos and posts etc online showing that she does do that, she just doesn't want to be approached when she's not working which is completely fair imo, she should be able to go to the shops, hang with her friends, have breakfast at a hotel without worrying about people pestering her. It's all fine saying if you don't want to be seen then don't go to public events but she's going to these events as Chappell, she's prepared for the situations that come with that whereas someone chasing her down on the street on her days off when she's just trying to get to where she's going is different.

If ChatGPT is gonna be used I'd rather see it produce silly odds and predictions rather than art purely for the chaos behind its "logic" when it comes to trying to predict something as everchanging as BJSC. If you can't make banners etc yourself and don't want to ask someone on the site who is capable there are other options that don't use AI. I get the argument with using AI takes away opportunities for real people to be creative. PicMonkey is a great free tool you can use for graphics, even if you're a complete beginner (or do a bray and use paint xo)

This entire situation has been blown out of proportion, honestly the internet just loves to jump on a hate campaign. This mum and her kid have obviously not liked being told no and have exaggerated it a bit to the dad, the fact it's not even Chappell's own security guard and she had no idea any of that even happened is a testament to that. Chappell being banned from playing a festival in Brazil as a result of this is completely ridiculous when there's famous men who are known abusers still able to continue their careers like nothing happened. Cancel culture is so so toxic, people are constantly looking for a reason to dislike someone, especially women and Chappell makes herself an easy target for that by being outspoken about her boundaries and the things she stands for. Anyone criticising her for that really needs to have a think as to why they're so bothered by a woman not making herself completely accessible to everyone.

Kesha has such a flawless track record when it comes to her singles, I really love her and I do think most of the pop fans on here are of the same mindset but this has seemingly attracted a lot of posters that aren't exactly known for their love of pop music 🤭 The fact that Kesha especially didn't even make it to the live shows is a testament to that imo, she really should have been a finalist tbh
