Oh I love a gimmick, I have a couple of songs that I've even contemplated for the main contest but that sorta thing can DNQ which is why I haven't There's so many good ideas for spin offs, the issue is available hosts with the time to run it - I would do it for sure but I don't have the time in the evenings to do it currently but hopefully at some point I can do something

I'd have thought Alice Chater would have been vetoed as well based on a lot of people on the site being familiar with her at least, artists have been booted for less but hey ho Not sure how I feel about that semi draw, hopefully there's enough fans there that I can at least keep my Q streak!

It was all very sudden I guess after her trying to 'make it' for so long but she's right, it's such a shame she has to deal with that shit and she shouldn't need to, nobody should. She's already trying to step back, if it continues it will likely reach the point where she doesn't do any sort of public appearances, on or off stage. I hope she has a good team around her that will help make her feel more protected and that the fans responsible stop being absolute creeps and weirdos.

I saw It Ends With Us today, it was okay, it took a while to get going so there were some pacing issues tbh. As much as I usually like Blake Lively I didn't like her in that role, her performance wasn't believable in the way it should have been. There were some really nice creative choices I appreciated though, the set is stunning, especially in Lily's shop. The casting for younger Lily was spot on as well, like the actress is Blake's double to an almost eery level. I enjoyed those scenes more than a lot of the present day ones. I really liked how the scenes where Justin Baldoni was amazing, it must have been a really difficult character to play but he was perfect, I think I'd recommend seeing this for his scenes alone. If you've ever dealt with a narcissist you'll understand what I mean. It makes me want to read the book as I'm hopeful it goes a bit deeper than the film did. But yea I'll give this one a 3/5 :lol:

I can't believe I'm about to say this but I wouldn't be mad if Suki and Ayesha ended up together, as much as I love Eve I don't love how she's acting and proposing as a result?? I don't doubt she wants to marry her eventually but it just seems like she's only doing it now bc she feels threatened. It's actually been really nice to see Suki being able to share both her queerness and culture with someone else who understands both. I like Ayesha as a character so far so I do hope she sticks around. I don't know what they'll do with Eve if they go down that route though.

Thankfully, I don't think there's been any riots in Scotland so far but Glasgow in particular is usually a hot spot for protests and the like so it probably is only a matter of time. I can empathise with the fear to go out though, it's something I feel more often that not for various reasons (albeit different from this) but like a few people have already said, you can't let other people stop you from living your life, of course be careful and vigilant and don't put yourself in any unnecessarily risky situations if you can help it. Although people should just learn to behave like decent human beings rather than the rest of us having to be extra precautious but that's just the world we live in at present unfortunately. I reckon they'll run out of fumes soon enough but that's half the problem, we shouldn't need to wait for it to blow over as it's always until the next time, there's always going to be something that sets these idiots off.
